So the last three prompts have involved a little action, a little sarcasm, and a lot of great storytelling, but this prompt will judge you based on your ability to tell a story using good, lighthearted humor:

"My Grandma used to have three rules to life: Forgive but don't forget, do what you love and do it well, and never teach a dog how to sword fight."

Create a story using this prompt in 1,500 words or less, and when you're done, comment "I'm in," tag three people, mention where it's published, and tag me where you publish your entry.

And remember! All entries for all four prompts are due by this Sunday, September 3rd. I would prefer them to come a little sooner, but if they come after September 3rd expect delays in judging because I am starting school September 5th. I would like for the final results to be published on Monday, September 5th, but again, of entries are late, then I can't publish results!
