Elevator of nightmares (Prompt)

"Paging doctor Gloom" the overhead rung, the voice echoing all around the animal hospital as Henry sunk more into his chair. He was worried. Looking around he could only see people with their animals waiting in the waiting room. But...what about him. He looked down between his legs under the chair. Nothing. Then Henry looked beside him. Nothing.

"Please be alright" the grown male mumbled to himself as he sighed trying to keep calm as another worried pet owner took a seat besides him and spoke "So what are you in for?" they asked as the out of place man sighed. "My dog...Lucy, she got into a bad accident this morning" he explained as the owner looked at him with only a look that could be described as pity.

"Oh...I hope she gets well soon. Mines is just in for a checkup" they explained as Henry only gave a faint smile and nod. He was one to be happy, but not in a situation like this. One where it was a literal life or death situation, and mentally, he was panicking.

"Mr...Bois?" one nurse spoke calling into the crowd of people as he perked up. "Here! Right here! How is she? Can I see her now?" Henry bombarded, the questions just spilling out of him as the nurse put a finger up. "Down the hall and take the elevator" she spoke before checking something on her notebook and leaving.

"Elevator?" Henry mumbled confused on what that was. He went to ask the person from earlier, but they had vanished. Sighing and following the instructions the male soon made his way towards this 'elevator', or that's at least what the sign said.

Taking a good look at it now Henry scratched his beard in though. "Must be some sort of new stair system" he guessed, pressing the only button to the double door entrance Henry saw. After a few seconds a light ding was heard, and with that the evil box of doom had arrived. With a few cautious steps the man peered inside, finding that it was somesort of transporter he took a breath before entering.

The elevator was a tight squeeze for a guy like him. Being so tall the tips of his brunette hair brushed against the ceiling, and his large burly frame made the space feel smaller than it was. As Henry was thinking about how small the box was, his elbow accidentally pressed the buttons on to which operated the strange technology.

It was becoming more and more evident that this wasn't going to be relaxing for a man that had heart problems. The doors closed as the box started shaking, and with it Henry slid down onto the floor. With just his luck the light started flickering, this seemed to cause the elevator to shake more, before suddenly...everything went pitch black.
