Love lots -AV

Graduation was approaching rapidly and Avi and Kevin were still looking for houses. They had gone with their realtor to countless showings but nothing seemed right for them. They were on their way back to Kevin's parent's house for the night after another fruitless attempt at finding a home.

"Kevy, I don't think we're ever going to find a house." Avi was weeping as he stared out his window. The hormones had been crazy the last few days and he was either crying or laughing hysterically, both at the most inappropriate times.

Kevin reached over to grab the brunette's hand, "we will baby. It's just taking a while."

"But I'm going to have this baby soon and he or she is going to be basically homeless. I don't want my baby to be homeless." Now he was sobbing.

"Honey, calm down please. Baby KO isn't homeless, they'll be wherever we are. You know both our parents said we could stay as long as needed. If we can't find a house by the time you're due, it will be fine. Besides I'm sure we could use the help of our mothers when the little one arrives. Neither of us know much about babies."

"Oh no!"

"What now?"

"We don't know anything about babies Kevin! How are

we going to do this!?"

Avi was to the point of hyperventilation. Kevin was forced to pull off the road and rush around to help his boyfriend refocus his breathing. It took several minutes before the omega had evened out his breaths enough to where it satisfied his alpha. The older boy chose not to speak the rest of the way home, hoping silence would help calm Avi down even more.

Back at Kevin's the pair had snuggled up together, ready for bed. They had had dinner, a nice casserole prepared by Mama O. While Avi showered, Kevin had a conversation with his father about two very special surprises he had in mind for his love. He figured now was a good time to hint at one of them.

"Baby boy?"

Avi hummed his acknowledgement sleepily.

"What do you think it'll be like when we're married? And the baby is here?"

"I think it'll be happy. That I'll be happy because I'll have the two people I love the most with me always."

Kevin pecked Abi's lips, "I think the same thing. Now it looks like my little omega is sleepy. Rest baby, we have school tomorrow."

"Do I have to?" The brunette whined.

"Yes you do... but graduation is in two weeks so we've almost made it. Now sleep my sweet angel, goodnight, I love."

"Love you too alpha."

Thankfully the next weekend Scott needed Avi's help picking out an outfit for he and Mitch's date. It gave Kevin the perfect opportunity to speak with Michael about his surprises. He knocked hesitantly on the door which was soon opened by a shocked Mr. Kaplan.

"Kevin, you and Avi just left. Is there something wrong? Normally you just walk in. I mean you are sort of living here."

Yes sir. I know but I have something to speak to you about and I wanted to do this more formally. Nothing is wrong. Avi is with Scott, alpha Rick is there so there's no danger."

"Of course come in. Let's go to my study."

Kevin sat down in a large, leather chair and fidgeted nervously. "So alpha, I wanted to let you know that I've found a house for Avi and I. He doesn't know about it yet. It was one he loved but someone else made an offer before we could. That deal fell through though so my parents helped me purchase it."

"That's wonderfully. I'll miss having you boys around but I trust it isn't far away."

"No sir just a few blocks. Well within walking distance."

"If you need any help getting things set up you know Shelley and I are more than willing."

"Yes sir. I thank you a lot." Kevin took a steadying breath.

"Go ahead and ask son. I already know what you're going to say," Michael was smiling from ear to ear, encouraging the younger alpha.

"Alpha Kaplan, could I please have your permission to marry and claim your son?"

"You may. I was hoping you'd ask soon. Now get over here and give me hug."

Kevin did so, tears streaming down his face, "thank you so much. I love Avi so much. I promise to do my best to make him happy."

"I have no doubt you will. Now have you given any thought to your proposal?"

"I have, Mitch is helping me plan."

Two weeks later, graduation was long gone. Kevin had started his new job at his father's practice. Avi was just focused on walking without falling now that he could no longer see his feet. He, Scott, Kristin, Mrs. Kaplan, and Mrs. Olusola had all planned the most beautiful gender reveal party and everyone but Avi was in Kevin's backyard setting up. The pregnant omega had been confined to the couch to work on party favors, the less stressful job they could find him.

Hours later and the expecting couple were milling about, speaking to friends and relatives about their new addition. Soon Scott announced that it was time for reveal. Avi and Kevin had chosen to do a simple cake cutting, effective without being gaudy. The beautiful rosette design was almost too pretty to cut into, they had picked a simple topper that said "it's a." The pair could not wait to find out what baby KO was.

Scott was bouncing on his toes, Mitch having to grab his hand to settle him before he knocked someone or something over. The soon to be parents were cutting the slice of cake painstakingly slow. Finally, the knife hit the glass cake stand and the two pulled out the slice of cake. Pink.

"We're having a girl!" Avi cried turning and grabbing Kevin in a hug. The alpha nodded, wiping away tears of his own before stepping back. Avi looked at him for a moment before cocking his head to the side. "What's wrong?"

"Absolutely nothing my sweet baby boy. I just have a few surprises."

Mitch stepped forward, handing Kevin a small box, another one was tucked safely away in the older boy's pocket.

"So baby, you know the house on Maple you love so much?" Avi nodded. "Well, here."

Avi opened the small present revealing a house key with a key ring that said "our first home."

"It's ours? But..."

"The other deal didn't work out. It's ours. Our dads and Mitchy have already started helping me move things in."

"Oh my god. I can't believe this. This is incredible."

"There's more."

Kevin took another step back but grabbed onto Avi's left hand as he did so. The brunette's right hand resting atop his baby bump.

"Avriel Benjamin Kaplan, I have loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you over four years ago. I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be standing here today. You are the light of my life and I want you always. Will you please do me the honor of allowing me to mark you and marry you? Uniting us forever?"

Avi couldn't contain his tears of joy.his voice betrayed him and he could only nod for the first few moments as Kevin slid the gold band onto his finger.

"I love you so much. Yes, I want to be with you forever my alpha."
