Oh my gosh, where do I start???


First, I want to apologize for taking so long to host this contest and announce the winner!


So much has been going on: work, school, my niece on the way, upcoming writing-related projects, and of course—NaNoWriMo!


Second, it was so hard to narrow down these entries! I loved all the different twists you guys took the prompt!

Just to re-iterate, the prompt was:

You are standing at the altar about to marry the woman of your dreams when all of a sudden, three tall men in dark suits barge through the door.

Your soon-to-be wife turns around, raised her arms—and the men go flying across the room.

This story was well put together with an interesting twist at the end I won't spoil!

I also loved the references to the theme of 'till death do us part'! The names too! When names have meaning, it helps readers become even more involved in the story's message, theme, etc.

The ending is definitely my favorite part! Then again, I love twisted stuff.

I really was hard to decide which story I liked best! And thanks again to everyone for entering this contest!
