The thing that really drew me into this story was the first couple of sentences in the summary. It describes something mysterious yet frightening, and I wanted to find out more- why she couldn't speak, who this boy was, and why he was destined to die.

I really enjoyed the author's writing style, especially their use of description. I also like how they wrote out the interaction between Koe and Altair. Since Altair is a really likeable guy (so far at least), I felt myself hoping that Koe could successfully get through to him. It's a wonderful read overall!

After her brother was sent into critical condition created by a Pokémon battle gone wrong, Koe Ravenku created an attitude of riding the trains more and more to ease her mind off of the situation.

Then wishing she could prevent events similar to her brother's scenario from happening, she discovered that she could see some futures of people-even if she hadn't met them at all.

One especially haunted her - a dream of a boy falling off a high rise.

The only thing keeping her from communicating entirely with the male, who happened to frequent the same subway she rode, was her inability to speak.
