In the eyes of some people of the town in Bella' Fields, Kassandra Garnet Boyle, was a fun and socially friendly girl that stuck to her dad's rules and became the big sister everyone needed. Although for such a bubbly girl, she has upcoming battles that she has to face alone.

Another hot summer came by the town and Kassandra thought that it wouldn't be anything different from the last 19 years that she spent there.

Coming through the colorful fields like a silent hurricane, Malachi Carmichael walked up the stage when the mayor announced his name. Eyes meeting and the air of them thickened and electrified, both of them not really knowing why they feel this way.

Lies, people and agreements from the past start to surface and now, it is up to them how to react and handle each one.

But having to chose to love or leave someone behind, which one would be the final decision?

SHORT SUMMARY OF CHAPTER 1
- "Mommy, no!" I shouted at her while I held my sister close to me. My mother closed the door behind her, leaving us all alone in the house.

It all happened so fast, when mom got off the phone with someone. She placed Devi and I in the crib at the living room. Mumbling to herself words and things I couldn't understand. But, when she had a bag in hand and walked towards the door without sparing us a glance, I knew something was wrong.

Devi was crying and I didn't know how to calm her down, but even her wails of wanting our mother back didn't drown out the sounds of the car starting.

I nodded stiffly and shrugged my shoulders. "Good thing it only happens once a year now, God, I hope it finally just ends." Ever since that day, my dreams would happen very often. It was just the days when I got older did they slowly diminish. It wasn't even scary now, it's close to frustrating that it would come back and never leave me alone.

Nodding, she turned back to my toast. "I didn't want them to burn, so I just took them out of the toaster myself. Besides. you looked preoccupied with your thoughts." She said while handing me the plate of toast in her hands. "But, Kassie it's been years now and you still have that dream. All these years you've avoided talking about it. Maybe it's time for you to open up."

Shaking my head. "I'll be fine."

Andrei, who is Sylvana's boyfriend and my former classmate would always ask me about her at our last year of high school. Piecing the puzzle together, I figured out that he was interested in her. Little did Andrei know, Sylv also liked him. Then being the good friend I am, gave Andrei a little push to finally confess to Sylv. Playing matchmaker wasn't really my thing, but it was fun making them be together.

"Well then! You guys start working while I have to go to the store to get some things. Sylvana here would guide you guys. And I trust that you girls will be responsible like the ladies you are." She gave us a pointed look to each of us. She bid her goodbye and waved her hand at us and sought herself out of the grounds. "Well, better start working." Devi said as she helped wipe the tables and chairs. I nodded as I helped them, it was still early and hopefully we would finish today.
