|| Sans' POV ||

Yesterday was really uh..how can I say this? The way how I acted around frisk is Unexpected. I never really act like that....welp...sometimes I do? Eh maybe just because I'm too happy and excited. (Excited or eggscited ey sans?)

Today's her birthday and I'm finally gonna confess and ask her out later, I know, I know I'm such a bonehead for not confessing so soon. But that doesn't matter anymore right? coz I finally pieced myself together again.

So the party is gonna be a surprise, Paps informed everyone about this. After she passed out yesterday, it drove me crazy worried. That I blamed undyne and nearly toasted her up. Gladly, it didn't happen, dad consoled me that she'll be fine, since she just passed out from tiredness.

While she was resting, me and paps explained the plan to everyone. Tori left early to finish the dress she's been working on for days, I guess that's her gift for frisk. Dad also left after the explanation, he said he'll pick a gift for her at his lab? Maybe some sciencey stuff.

Leaving paps, undyne and alphys giftless, But I bet they all planned everything now. "Sans would you mind giving me hand? Other than staring at that small box." Undyne grunted, trying to push all of the big boxes full of decorations in the living room.

"sure, here." I grinned, as I popped my left arm out and threw it to her. "Nevermind" she groaned, bursting into the room, falling flat on the floor. "SANS! HAVE YOU FOUND MY GIFT FOR FRISK?!!" Paps busted the door open, flipping the couch.

"Ooof!" Man, don't tell me he lost it again for the fourth time today, still counting though. "nope" I smiled, rubbing my skull in pain as He continued to ran to and fro around the house, flipping every furniture on the way. Yes every furniture, even the table of my once pet rock.

"OH NO!!!! THE HUMAN WOULD ARRIVE ANY MINUTE NOW!! WHAT AM I TO-" he stopped as he noticed me lying lazily on the floor. "You've been staring all morning, what's up with you sans?" Alphys came in, raising a brow as she carried a tower of plates.

"eh just staring at the ceiling." I grinned, earning a groan from paps. "BROTHER, IS SOMETHING BOTHERING YOU? YOU LOOK A BIT DOWN..." He stopped as my grin stretched wider. "ayyy." I winked.

His eye twitched but he started to calm down. "i'm good paps, i'm good" I smiled, standing up, as i dusted the glitter off my jacket. "GREAT NOW CAN YOU PLEASE-
"i'm all RIGHT~." I joked, waving my only arm onto him. "GAAAAAAAAAAH!!! PUT YOUR LEFT ARM ON SANS!!!" he roared, as he spanked my left arm on my face. Heh worth it, it didn't rattled me that much anyways.

"hehe ok bro" I popped my arm on and used my magic to tidy the house up. I can't even believe I'm cleaning the house for the first time, as paps always says, I only boondoggle, lying here and there. Sleeping to summarize everything. After picking up my sock, Toby ran towards me.

"is this the gift your looking for, paps?" He turned his head and facepalmed. "OH YES IT CERTAINLY IS!!!" he cheered, as his eyes sparkled with happiness, but not for long.

"toby found it." I chuckled, tickling toby's stomach in my arms. "WHY THANK YOU CANINE! THE GREAT PAPYRUS NOW FORGIVES YOU!" he smiled, crouching down to give him a pet and to retrieve the gift from him.

"NYEH? YOU CAN GIVE IT NOW." he frowned as he tried to get the gift out of his jaw, but it didn't budge. "ANY MINUTE NOW." he grumbled impatiently. "PLEASE! GIVE IT TO ME!" he pleaded, alarming Toby to run around the living room while paps chased him.

"GAAAAAH! COME HERE!" he yelled, nearly bumping undyne from hanging the streamers. "Watch it papyrus!" Undyne huffed, regaining her balance from the ladder. "i got it" I chuckled, making the bone stickered-gift hover out of Toby's grasp.

"THANK YOU SANS!" paps grinned, setting the gift on a high shelf. "P-papyrus!! Y-your spaghetti is burning!!" Alphys screamed from the kitchen, alerting paps to dash on full speed like a race car.

"NOOOO! MY SPECIAL SPAGHETTI!" He cried, which is followed by reassuring mumbles between the two. "Great! Now i'll have to repeat everything!" Undyne groaned, staring at the ruined decorations hanging on the walls.

"HANG in there undyne, let me ORNAMENT everything." I joked, making everything float into their right places. "Thanks sans. Man, I wonder what frisk is doing right now." She sighed, flopping beside me on the couch.

"probably DOUGHing the pie batter." I chuckled. It's been two hours since frisk left the house with tori, two hours is long enough to bake a pie right? Damn, just thinking of that pie makes me hungry.

Especially, if its Frisk's scrumptious strawberry pie. Hehe but ketchup's still on the top menu for me alongside with the pie of course.

~Meanwhile, at the ruins~

|| Frisk's POV ||

"Sooo, is there a special occasion today?" I interrupted the comforting silence, while mixing the ingredients. I brought that question coz it got me thinking, why would we bake a pie this early in the morning? I know its usual for mom to bake pies with me, but why this early?

"You can call it if you want to dear." She politely stated. Wait....does she know that today's my birthday??? Impossible, we never had a conversation before about our birthdays, only snail facts and some puns.

"Is it a birthday celebration?" I asked, expecting that someone would know it is my special day. No one actually greeted me or remembered this morning, of course! Why and how would they even know?

I haven't met them back in the surface before and they don't know everything about me yet...well...except for sans. I remember celebrating my 7th birthday with him back in the surface.

He and chara are the only people who remembered, my classmates didn't even bother to greet me, coz I'm just a shadow to them, a random girl from the crowd.

Mom and dad went abroad when my birthday came, they didn't call me and chara for three days after they left us with our strict, careless neighbor. I guess they're just too busy from work.

"No, my child." She chuckled, placing the pie in the oven. "Oh..." I frowned, hopping on the counter. "Lighten up frisk! There is nothing to be so sad about! In fact, we are celebrating a very special occasion." Her eyes softened, holding my chin up.

My face lightened up, "Really?!" I beamed. "Yes, we are celebrating your first month here in the underground!" She giggled, carrying me up close. Geez, am I really light? Or am I just small?

"Wow, a month? I can't believe I'd stay here this long. It seems like it was only yesterday when I befriended everyone I met here." I chuckled.

"You are not just a friend to us my child, your more than that, your family." Mom smiled warmly. "Oh! That reminds me!" I ran into the table, grabbing the gift.

When we went to the shop a few days ago, I bought violet sweater for mom. I thought of giving her a gift when her birthday comes, but apparently, I don't know when is it.

So, why not give it today? "I don't know when is your birthday, soooo...here! I hope you like it!" I grinned. She looked puzzled for a moment, but she held it back with a chuckle.

"You don't have to, can't this wait till Christmas?"

"Nope! Cmon! open it!" I giggled impatiently.

Her brown eyes glimmered in joy, As she unwrapped the gift. "Do you like it? It looked a bit plain...soooo, I made a few changes." She was speechless, examining every bit of it.

"Yes! This is lovely! Thank you so much dear."

"No problem....MOMSTER!" I winked, as she pulled the sweater on. "Oh my, sans has been teaching you puns, haven't he?" She giggled. "Yup! But, most of 'em is on me." I laughed.

Not a moment later, we heard a few knocks on the door. "I am not expecting visitors....so soon? Strange..." We curiously crept into the living room, I, trembling, with a frying pan on my hand.

Wazzup my friends! Its been awhile ey? Soooo, I apologize for not updating these days.

School's almost near and that rings the bell for me to get a ton of books on my desk, That changes the update shed of this story.

I will update once a week, I'm not sure when or what particular day of the week, buuut...please stay tuned for those updates! Also, I'm afraid to say that this story is almost at its end. 😩

But fret not!! I was thinking of making a sequel or another Frans story. ( ._.)

I'm still deciding though.. So please let me know if I should still extend the story of this kawaii ship I fangirl almost everyday. XD
