The ball is almost near, but I still haven't asked frisk out. Other than that, I remembered that her birthday's tomorrow. I still need to pick out my gift for her. But what? I want it to be special and unique of course.

"ughh...." I groaned, slamming my skull on the dining table. "SANS? ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" paps asked, biting the last piece of pie Frisk left for us. She baked it just this morning when I'm still dozing off in my room.

She went out with Undyne and Al for some self defense training. Undyne offered to train her when we're at the lab yesterday. I reminded her about the injuries she had, that they're not properly healed yet.

But she still insisted. Dad reassured me that she'll be fine since she's recovering fast. It still bugs me though. I'll just visit her in awhile after I wrap my thoughts about the ball and her coming birthday.

"hmm? oh yep, i'm fine bro." I smiled, looking up to him. "NO, THE GREAT PAPYRUS KNOWS SOMETHING IS WRONG." paps frowned. "nah, im good, really." I grinned, poking the pie slice on my plate.

"OH, I SEE." he smugly said, pulling a glass of sea tea out of the fridge. "IT IS ABOUT FRISK RIGHT?~" he drank the whole glass in just one gulp. "uhh..no! definitely not.." When did paps learned to read my mind? Or its just obvious since I'm being a blueberry again.

I looked away, my whole face burning bright blue. I don't really know why I blush this hard whenever someone brings out a conversation about her. I guess it normally happens right away when I hear her name.

"NYEH?~" paps raised a brow, with that smile still plastered on his face. "fine, yes, its about frisk." I huffed in defeat, paps always knows how to crack me ey?

Loud fanboy screams filled the kitchen as paps shook me like crazy. "I KNEW IT! I ALWAYS KNEW IT!" he squealed louder than ever, louder than his usual booming voice. Geez, if i have eardrums, they'll literally blow up any moment now.

"paps calm down!" "YOU ASKED HER RIGHT? HAVE YOU NOT?" He stopped shaking me as he focused upon hearing my answer. "umm...i-i" he's smile started to stretch wider.

"I..I haven't" I sighed as I shook my head down. he's smile turned upside down upon hearing my response. "i still haven't asked her since...I'm uh...planing to ask on her birthday, t-tomorrow." I scratched my skull.

"THAT IS A BRILLIANT IDEA BROTHER!!!" "real-oof!" he gasped in amazement, bringing me up close for a hug. "YOU HAVE NOT TOLD ME!" he chuckled, carrying me up.

"i was about to- " "IN THAT CASE, WE NEED TO THROW A PARTY! A PARTY SHE WILL NEVER FORGET!" his eyes sparkled upon the idea. "say that" I continued.

"I WILL PLAN THE PREPARATIONS!! NYEHEHEH!" He proudly puffed his chest. "ok paps, i'll just visit her oka-" "NONSENSE! LET US PLAN THE PARTY BEFORE YOU VISIT FRISK!" he happily cheered, as he dragged me up in his room, towards his computer desk.

Heh, this is gonna be a long day.

|| Frisk's POV ||

"Cmon frisk! You're better than that! Use the spear I gave you!" Undyne cheered upon the the far end of the room. "Act fast, child!" Gaster chuckled. "Okay okay I'm trying!" I huffed, man, when was the last time I had  exercise?

I really need to loosen these stiff bones of mines up. I swung the heavy green spear unto my left, right and forward. "Ack!" I flinched as a spear hit my right cheek. "Easy for you huh? But can you avoid these!" Undyne grinned, summoning big blue spears everywhere.

My eyes widened as I saw countless of spears coming to get me. "You can do it Frisk!" Alphys shouted. OK, I can do this. I moved side wards to avoid them and did a backflip just in time before it cut my hair.

I ducked and did the same process again and again. I think I'm getting the hang of it, they all go in a familiar pattern. It's actually more like dodgeball but a deadly dodgeball game it is.

~Le time skip~

"Let's *huff* take *puff* a break." I crouched, hands on my knees. "Cmon punk! Get those bones moving! We just started!" She chuckled
"Started?!! That was two hours ago! I can't barely feel my legs anymore." I complained, my legs shaking wildly.

I swear if I didn't get even a few good minutes of rest, I'll collapse hard on the ground. "Two hours is good enough for today undyne, thank you~" metta came out of nowhere and accompanied me on a nearby bench.

"Fine! But make sure you'll do better tomorrow Kay?"

"Yes I promise" I called as she went up with alphys and gaster. "Thanks for saving my butt  there ton-ton." I thanked as I grabbed a bottle of cold water. "No problem darling~"

"What brings you here? I thought your busy for the ball?" I asked.
"Yes I am but I let my assistant bpants do the work so I'll have nothing much to stress about these days.~" ahh...the life of celebrities, too complicated to sort things out.

"How about your shows? I thought your on a busy sched?" I tilted my head in confusion.

"No, I have a day-off. I came to visit you and to see if papy is here~" she smirked.

"Oh is that so, papy is at Snowdin, with sans..." I trailed off, staring bluntly at the ground. "Ohhh I see~" she cooed.

"Just tell romeo the truth gorgeous.~" metta smirked once more, changing the topic. "Truth? Haha I don't know what you're talking about." I fake laughed, covering my flustered face.

"Oh cmon dearie, this has gone too long now. Just admit and confess." Metta has a point. I couldn't really contain these feelings any longer, but...

"That doesn't how it works metta, he doesn't like me the way I do. I don't want to keep my hopes up high that he'll like me back." I sighed, every time I talk to someone about my feelings it just makes me uncomfortable.

"But he does darling, he loves you more than you think." Metta placed a hand on my shoulder.

"You just never noticed, he cares for you a lot frisk. Don't worry, about what your mind urges you to do."

"Just remember to always listen to your heart." She smiled, pointing to my chest where my heart should be.

My frown turned upside down and gave her a hug. "Thanks for the advice ton-ton." I smiled. "No need to thank me dearie~" she chuckled.

Loud clanking bones came from the distance, which was followed by an earsplitting call.
