|| Frisk's POV ||

Yesterday was totally fun, the dancing the singing, they're awesome! I never had fun like that much in the surface, I still can't believe everyone really enjoyed my singing, I'm glad they did though since my classmates always tells me that my voice sounds horrible.

I guess I feel asleep last night watching those fireflies with sans. I sighed, hopping off the couch as I trotted into the kitchen. Papy left an hour ago for another training with undyne I guess? He just left squealing like a kid as he held an envelope on his gloved hands.

Maybe something important? I shrugged as I rummaged the stuff in the fridge. Its already 10:42 a.m, my digital watch read.

I haven't eaten a single thing for breakfast yet, because I woke up late after that exhausting mini concert and some other tiring stuff we had yesterday, as for sans, he's still dozing the day off, I can hear his loud snores upstairs, I don't wanna wake him since papy told me not to or I'll have to deal with his grumpy mood.

I pulled the scrumptious strawberry pie I baked the other day and set it down the oven to heat it up. Toriel taught me how to bake various types of pie, such as butterscotch, cinnamon, blueberry and apple pies, when she had time.

I love all of her pies, but nothing would ever replace my favourite, strawberry pie. Its the pie that me and mom used to bake together for dad, I sighed, I wish those moments may still last long. I held my locket and grasped it tight, staring bluntly at my sad reflection by the window.

Ping! The timer rang, Taking light steps towards the oven." mornin" sans greeted, I spun around, startled of his presence as I yanked my hand away from the oven's hot surface, sending the pie piece to fly on his face. "Owww!" I hissed, caressing my hand.

"Sorry pal, didn't mean to startle you." He apologized. "Nah, its fine." I happily stated, ignoring the pain surging on my right hand. The crumbs and strawberry filling still present on his face.
"Hold on, let me remove that." I reached for his face with the tips of my toes, since he's a bit tall for my reach. I gently wiped the filling with my thumb. "So this is how you greet a pal every morning?" He smirked, wiping some crumbs near his mouth.

"No, not really." I smiled, reaching for the clean dish cloth behind me, scraping the excess fillings by his chin. His hearty chuckle faded as his gaze focused on me, a bright blue color present on his cheekbones.

I froze, noticing how inches close I am to him. My right hand trembling as my grip loosened on the piece of cloth. He raised his other free hand and caressed my cheek, my cheeks burning at the moment.

He slowly inches his face towards mine. I closed my eyes shut fidgeting in place. "So you got these fillings for me?" His voice was cold. He suddenly threw the handful of filling on my face. "Hey!" I exclaimed at him, as he prevented the giggles escape his mouth.

"Not cool sans!" I yelled, throwing the now cold filling on his smug face, laughing in process. He grinned scooping them off his face as he threw the handful on me.

"You shouldn't have crusted me dough." He teased, staring at my annoyed expression. "Haha strawberry funny sans, berry funny." I said in mock annoyance. Spreading the stuff on his whole face, giggling at him, as he groaned, struggling to remove the jelly on his hands.

"Here, you shouldn't play with fillings you know." I teased, throwing the dish cloth to him after I finished. "OK ok , I would never play with your feelings, take care of yourself kid, cause someone really cares about ya." He winked, as he handed the cloth to me.

"I'll visit my stand, see ya." He smiled as he teleported out of sight. I stand there, dumbfounded, it took me like forever to replay what he said. Fillings? Or Feelings? I brushed the thought off, deciding to take a walk around to keep myself busy the whole day.

I paved by the cold snow as I walked into the outskirts of snowdin, I greeted the fellow monsters with a smile as they waved at me. Its a good day today, some kids are playing on the snow with their parents on the watch, some are happily chatting while drinking hot choco.

I smiled, watching everyone do their own business. I walked up upon a library or should I say a librarby. I giggled at the misspelled word. I need answers to my questions and a library is what I need.

I went in as the door chimed open, revealing several bookshelves about certain topics about monsters and a bunch of monsters silently reading on their seats.

The librarian smiled at me as she adjusted her boxy glasses, I smiled back as I went over the towering bookshelves. Hmm..where should I start. I looked around and saw a dinosaur with no arms in a striped sweater? Pulling out a book entitled "The History of Monsters" with its teeth, but then shoving it back and pulling the next one.

I paced towards him and pulled the tattered looking book. "Yo, you're a human right?" He asked, interrupting my gaze upon the old book. "Uh..yeah?" I said, clutching the book by my side.

"Cool! I can't believe you made easily friends with undyne!" He nearly shouted, causing the librarian to glare at us, which shushed him and me. "Oh sorry! The name's Monster kid! Call me MK instead and please don't tell my parents I'm here." He said, in a loud whispering voice.

"Okay? Its fine, the name's frisk." I smiled, as he was reaching for a book on the higher shelf. I offered him help and he gladly accepted it. "Why would you think its hard making friends with her?" I asked, handing the book to him as we sat on a the cream coloured chairs by the table.

"Oh, that's because she doesn't easily trusts a human." He whispered, flipping the book's pages. "Why wouldn't she trust me?" I questioned as more questions rang in my head, wrecking my confusion out. "Because your a human! The humans trapped us here long ago!" He raised his voice a bit, but still whispering.

"What?" I asked bluntly. He groaned. "You don't know the history don't you?" He asked. I shook my head no. "Read that book your holding, since I'm really not good on telling stories, the reason I failed in reading class." He gestured to the tattered book.

"Ok" I mumbled, as I flipped the pages open.

'Once upon a time, two races ruled over the earth, the monsters and the humans..they all lived happily and peacefully, but curiosity and misunderstanding brought a big change..'

'....One day, war broke between the two races, the battle lasted long..many monsters were killed outnumbering them. This took advantage for the humans to win the bloody battle.'

'The humans trapped the monsters under mt. Ebott, the mystical mountain, where the seven humans casted a barrier.'

I read the first page carefully, I felt a sudden change in my brain, like it was whirling, I felt some of my childhood memories flooding back. I remember..

~~~Memory of Frisk's thoughts~~~
We used to live with them before..everything was perfect..I made friends with someone.. He's the one who saves me..the one who's always there to protect me...until...everything changed...
Everything changed when an accident happened....it declared war against all.
They decided to trap them...including him...and there's no way to make them come back.
"I didn't got to say goodbye.." I cried harder as she caresses me and dad in a hug.
"Frisk...I know this is sad...but..don't worry..I'm sure they'll be back here soon, he will be back." Dad reassured, wiping the tears off my face as I hugged them both, watching the beautiful view of mt. Ebott.
I will see you soon...Sans...I'll stil keep our promise...whatever happens, you'll always be my punny friend till the end.
~~~ Memory ends ~~~
