And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:

Luke 4:17

“The Spirit of Adonai is upon me;

1. Therefore he has anointed me to announce Good News to the poor;
2. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the imprisoned and
3. Renewed sight for the blind,
4. to release those who have been crushed,
5. to proclaim a year of the favor of Adonai. (Nalla Kalam Vanthuduchu)”
