Estelwen (Alastegiel) POV

As soon as we arrived at Rivendell, I gave the stable boy my horse, then I immediately went to find Arwen. It did not take me long, I found her walking in the garden.

“Arwen!" I called out to her with a big smile on my face, “I'm back." She turned around and looked at me.

“Estelwen, is that really you?" She said as she came over and hugged me.

“Yes it is," I said hugging her back, “But you can't call me Estelwen for a while."

“Why not?" She asked, and I could tell she was very confused.

“Remember, you and Gandalf are the only ones who know me by that name and know my secret."

“Oh, ok. So what name do I call you by now then?"

“Alastegiel." I answered her.

“Bringer of Joy! What a nice name." She said while smiling at me.

“Thanks, now anyone could be around listening, so we can not talk about my secret and you can't call me by my real name."

“Got it."

Legolas POV

After we got to Rivendell, Alastegiel took off to the Valar knows where. I can't believe my Ada had her come with us. Now she is going to go to the counsel and find out everything. Then she'll probably find a way to tell Saron.

I decided to clear my head and go for a walk. Soon I made it to the garden and heard two elleths talking.

I don't like to eavesdrop but I wanted to know what was going on. I quietly got closer and hid myself behind a tree. One of the elleths was Alastegiel, and the other was Arwen.

“Got it." Arwen said to Alastegiel, “I am so glad to see you. I was not sure if I was ever going to see you again after you had left.

“Well, of course I was going to come back. You are pretty much the only friend I have. And also when I left I promised you that I would return, remember." Alastegiel said and Arwen nodded her head, “When I make a promise, I do my best to keep it. I was planning on coming to Rivendell soon, but wasn't sure if King Thranduil would of let me. He thinks of me as a daughter. But it looks like I got to come anyway."

“So, how has your life been?" Arwen asked very interested in what Alastegiel was going to say.

“It's been alright. I am King Thranduil's servant now, but not much interesting things are going on. Except he asked me to come to Rivendell because I am a good healer and a good fighter. How's your life been?" Even I was interested in what Arwen was going to say.

“Well..." Arwen said all mysterious.

“Well what?" Alastegiel asked with a smirk on her face.

“I fell in love." Arwen said with a huge smile on her face. I wonder who it is.

“With who" Alastegiel asked very interested.

“His name is Aragorn son of Arathorn." Arwen said the huge smile grew bigger. You could tell she truly loved him, how sweet. Wait, Aragorn? I know him, he is my friend. Wow he is a really lucky guy.

“Isildur's heir? Arwen I am very proud of you for falling in love with a mortal man, even though you are an immortal elf." Alastegiel said with gladness in her voice.

“Yes I am even willing to give up my immortality. I would rather spend one lifetime with him, than face all the ages of this world alone." Arwen said while looking at the ground.

“I totally agree with you, I would do the same." Alastegiel said while looking off into the distance.

“Really?" Arwen said shocked that Alastegiel would do the same.

“Yes, if I truly loved him with all my heart. Now I better get to bed it is getting really late, I have not slept for the past few nights, so I guess I should get some rest. Goodnight Arwen." Alastegiel said while giving Arwen a hug.

“Goodnight Alastegiel." Arwen said while hugging her back. Alastegiel walked off, but Arwen stayed in the garden. I guess I should get going to.
