Finding my match
Valadhiels POV
I began to walk to the dining hall for lunch when I saw the long line of soldiers. I sighed. I guess I would take the other way around. I began walking around and going through the gardens as my shortcut. I suddenly felt my feet slipping as I slid around the wet floor, my arms flailing.
"GAH!" I yelped as I felt a pair of strong arms grab my waist.
I looked to face my rescuer as I saw Legolas and felt like I couldn't breathe. He looked gorgeous in the sun with his silvery hair.
"Thank you." I breathed as he helped me up.
"Any time my lady." He smiled shyly.
"I should get going." I fumbled with my words "see you later Legolas!" And quickly scrambled away.
What just happened?
I had never seen Legolas in that kind of light before, and felt a certain pull towards him, I felt sick and nervous at the same time, but in a good way. And his eyes. Oh valar. Was I falling in love with him? It has to be. There is no explanation.
There was just one teeny problem. Tauriel. How was I supposed to tell Legolas how I felt when Tauriel was desperate for his love and affection? She would hate me even more.
Legolas's POV
I stood silently at the trail in which she left on. I couldn't think straight. She was gorgeous. Stunning. I had never looked at her this way before, why now?
It has to be love. There isn't another explanation.
What if she doesn't feel the same way? Tauriel disliked her greatly and I think she would be quite angered because of it.
Who cares? I thought who cares what Tauriel thinks? I had found my match, and I was certain to let her know.
