DAY 8
chanmi's eyes fluttered open and she was staring at a familiar white ceiling. she rolled over and groaned, the girl had a headache due to her drinking from the night before. chanmi sluggishly gets up, eyes barely open, and walks into the bathroom.
she splashes her face with cold water and pats around for a towel. she dries her face off, but she notices a smell, it wasn't bad or anything, however it didn't smell like herself or her own towel. chanmi finally opens her eyes wide to notice she wasn't in her own bathroom, but a mirror of her own bathroom.
the girl looked at the towel which she had dried her face with to see an unfamiliar towel. she threw the towel, which had a faint smell of cologne, and runs out of the room. she screams as she sees a figure laying on the couch, soundly sleeping— at least he was soundly sleeping.
minho, the figure on the couch, jumps up and widens his eyes when he hears chanmi scream, "what?"
"what am i doing here? what the fuck, why can't i remember?" chanmi grabs the closest object near her, which happened to be a spoon on the kitchen counter top.
minho rolls his eyes at the girl, "oh yes, please attack me with a spoon."
chanmi walks up to the boy, who was rubbing his eyes, and smacks his arm with the spoon, "just tell me what happened last night!"
before chanmi could hit him again, minho grabs her wrist and groans, "if you don't remember, then you don't remember. just go back to your own place and shower, you reek of booze."
chanmi pouts and pushes they boy's hand from her wrist, "whatever, i'll find out later then."
minho chuckles to himself as the girl leaves, spoon still in hand, "can i have my spoon back?"
chanmi turns around and throws it at minho, turning around as soon as the metal object leaves her grip. luckily, minho catches it before it could hit him. the boy ruffles his hair and smiles as he goes into his room to take a shower.
chanmi on the other hand was in a frenzy in her apartment. she luckily had her keys, so she was able to get in, but she still had no idea of what happened the other night. the girl decided she would take a shower and cure her hangover with a big breakfast before going to ask minho what happened.
˚✧˳⁎˚✧
chanmi stood in front of her neighbor's door, a food baby hidden underneath her hoodie. she knocked on the door three times and it opened as her fist left the door.
"yes?" minho opens the door, an eyebrow raised.
chanmi crosses her arms and takes a deep breath in, "what did i do last night?"
the boy chuckles and motions for the girl to come into his home, "want water?"
"i want an explanation."
minho takes a seat on his couch and looks over to chanmi, "you're making it sound like i did something bad when you're the one who barged into my apartment."
chanmi began feeling embarrassed but stood her ground and continued on, "just tell me what happened!"
˚✧˳⁎˚✧
"you're a hand full." minho pulled the girl to a kitchen chair and allowed her to lay her head down.
minho finishes his chicken before tossing the bone in the trash and grabbing a cup to fill with water. he looks over to chanmi who was giggling to herself for no apparent reason. minho shakes his head and fills the glass with water, giving it to the drunk girl.
"thank you minwhore!" chanmi laughs and takes a sip of her water.
minho gives chanmi a bored look, clearly not impressed by the nickname, "is there a reason you came over?"
chanmi chugs the rest of her water, nodding after placing the empty glass down, "you're right."
"what?"
chanmi gets up and nods her head, walking to minho's living room, "you're one hundred percent right, there is almost never a time that i am not fake."
"you interrupted my dinner to tell me that? exit please."
chanmi sat down on the couch, her mood instantly changing, "please don't make me leave," she whispers.
"what are you-"
chanmi turns her head to minho, tears were filling her eyes and minho began to panic, "i'm so lonely, don't make me leave."
minho rushes to the girl's side, not sure what to do. he sat next to her and just looked at her with wide eyes.
"you can stay the night if you want," minho awkwardly suggests, he wasn't used to having a drunk, crying girl in his apartment.
chanmi nods, "please," her eyelids start to feel heavy, "i've been lonely for too long..."
and in that moment, chanmi fell asleep, falling onto minho's shoulder. the boy only sighed, he wasn't annoyed, he felt sorry for the girl.
he quickly picked her up bridal style, carrying her to his room. gently, he lies her down and tucks her in. minho was about to leave, getting ready to sleep on the couch, but chanmi's hand shoots out, holding onto minho's arm.
"stay," chanmi's eyebrows scrunch together, her eyes still closed, "stay for the night."
minho looked at the girl and let a breathe out, "okay, okay, just stop being so clingy."
minho climbs in, making sure to stay a distance away from chanmi, but somehow chanmi finds a way to hold onto minho's hand as the two fell asleep.
by the end of the night, minho had his arms wrapped around chanmi and chanmi held onto minho's hand as they slept.
serenity at it's finest, how the two wished the moment lasted forever, whether they knew it themselves or not. they wanted time to freeze then and there.
