the lecture was close to over, so chanmi packed up her things and smacked both chan and jaehyun in the head to wake them up. they rubbed their head as they woke up, both playfully glaring at the smiling chanmi. the three spoke of where to eat after the lecture was over, but something the professor said seemed to grab their attention.

"so the film broadcast majors will work with dance majors this quarter." the professor wrote some things on the board.

"we have to make a video of a dance major?" chanmi asked as she read the assignment, which was what the professor was writing on the board.

"you'll make your production group have a max of three people or you can do it alone, and you will have to find someone from the dance major to make the video about. be sure the student is fine with you being their partner."

jaehyun props his feet up on the chair in front of him, "what if the person from dance major says no? do we get to not do the project?"

"feet off the chair mr. jaehyun and no, both majors are required to do this, unless you're looking to fail this semester, of course." everyone looks back at jaehyun. "i'll be asking for partners in an email i send out later."

he gives them a look of 'fuck off' and they all turn around, listening to the professor once again, "this is stupid," chan shakes his head and puts his things away, "do we know anyone from the dance department?"

jaehyun shrugs and looks over to chanmi, "am i supposed to know?" chanmi questions, "the only two i know who want to go into dance are hyunjin and felix, but those two are still in high school."

"do you think they'll know anyone from the dance-" chan was cut off by his phone ringing, "hello?"

he holds one finger out to signal for chanmi and jaehyun to be quiet, but the two have other plans.

chanmi gets close to the phone and whispers, "yoyo chris, pass the weed."

jaehyun gets up and goes to the phone and smiles, "chan, come back to bed sweetie."

chan smacks the two away and gives them a look before chanmi and jaehyun start laughing and pushing each other for no reason. chan picks up his bag, noticing everyone else was leaving, and motions for the two kids next to him to get their bags as well.

they follow chan as he continues to talk on the phone, and as soon as he gets off the phone, chanmi gets a text on her phone.

"why can't i come?" chanmi shouts, causing chan to look back and smile at her.

"you don't wanna hear what your baby's classmates have been up to." chanmi watches as chan chuckles.

"what do you mean by that? chan!" chanmi pouts as she watches chan wave without even looking at her.

chanmi turns around and starts heading for her apartment building, but then her pocket starts vibrating.
