Chapter Twenty One | Advice

One thing that Zayn learned about having friends that are guys is that they give good advice.

After the little 'kissing' incident that went down a few days ago, he decided that he would talk to his friends because he knew that they would help him.

He liked advice from other people. Especially from his mother, but this time he didn't want advice from his mother. He wanted some advice from his bros.

They were all in the livingroom. It was Zayn, Jerome, Harry and Liam. He has gotten use to being around these people, he isn't nervous as he was before.

"Rome?" Zayn tapped his shoulder. "Can..c-can I ask..ask you something?"

"Ask away kid," Jerome says.

"D-Does..does Kae..l-like me?" Zayn asked nervously.

"Do you think she likes you?" Jerome asks.

"You're not suppose to ask a question with a question," Liam says which causes Jerome to roll his eyes. He can be such a smart ass sometimes.

"S-She..kissed..me r-right here," Zayn pointed to the corner of his mouth for everybody to see, soon everybody was interested in what he had to say. It was rare for him to talk to a group, but then again they were his friends.

"She did?" Harry asked.

"K-Kae..d-did it..on purpose," he mumbles with a frowned face.

"She was teasing you! Oh god this is gold," Liam grins. "You have to get her back somehow."

Jerome squinted his eyes at Liam, they were talking about his sister for god's sake, "Hell naw—,"

Liam cut him off, "You can't let her know that she's winning Zayn."

"Yeah, because women can do cruel things to a man," Harry says shaking his head.

Jerome sighed, "Do you like Kae?"

Zayn tugged at his collar nervously, "Uhm..I-I like her...b-but..but..not..as f-friend."

"Aww shit," Jerome grinned. "You have to tell her bro."

Zayn shook his head, "N-No..I-I can't."

"Grow some balls mate and tell her," Harry says which made Zayn frown. Go balls? What was that suppose to even mean?

"W-What—,"

"Anyway, you need to come clean and tell her how you feel bro. Or else she won't know that you like her," Jerome says.

"M-Me..me scared," Zayn mumbled and that was the truth. He was scared because he feared that she would turn him down. He was different and he didn't know if Kae liked that.

"Ah, don't be scared mate. She likes you," Harry says with a small smile.

"S-She..she does? D-Don't lie," Zayn says seriously.

Harry was a bit taken back but he realized how much Zayn really like Kae and that made him smile, "I'm not lying Zayn. She likes you, trust me."

That was the conversation of the day, they talked about Zayn and how he likes Kae and all. They teased him a bit which made him leave the living room with blushed cheeks.

Soon the girl walked in the kitchen and greeted him. Kae observed that he seemed very nervous but she decided not to question it. But then again when she stepped inside the house she heard the guys laughing. But when she walked in the living they all stopped laughing and pretended to watch TV. It was weird, so she asked him about it.

"You okay Zayn? You seem..nervous," Kae says.

"Zayn? W-What? Uhm..me n-not nervous," he said nervously.

Kae squinted her eyes at him, "Are you lying to me?"

At that moment he knew that he was dead man because she walked over to him with a smirk on her face. Zayn's heart was beating out of his chest but he tried so not to break down but it was almost impossible. He was backed against the counter and her hands were on the other side of him. This woman was something else.

In the corner of his eyes he could see all of the guys peeking their heads in the kitchen. They all had childish grins and smirks on their faces. He looked at them, as if trying to get some help.

Liam understood the nonverbal call for help, Zayn had that look in his eyes that he needed to be rescued. Just before Kae could ask what he was looking at. Liam straightened out his shirt and causally walked in the kitchen.

"Oh! I'm sorry did I interrupt something?" Liam asked very loudly which made Kae back away from Zayn.

"I wonder what we got in here," Jerome said as he walked in the kitchen also, when he was about going to open the refrigerator he looked at the two. "Why you lookin' so nervous Kae?"

"I-I'm not," she mumbled with her eyes on the floor.

"Guys the TV show is back on," Harry walks in the kitchen and looked at Kae. "Why you look so nervous Kae?"

"I'm not nervous..just a bit stressed about finals that's all," she lied, then walked out of the kitchen and went inside her room to his her embarrassment.

When the ghost was clear they all started laughing like little kids. Zayn's breathing was back at it's his normal rate. But he didn't know why they were laughing.

"We saved your ass. You should thank us," Liam says with a grin.

"You're in trouble Zayn," Jerome laughs.

"She's a dangerous woman Zayn. You sure you wanna go after that?" Harry asked.

"Watch it," Jerome warned.

Zayn was very overwhelmed, he didn't know what to do, "T-Thank you."

"Don't worry kid. It's apart of the Bro Code," Jerome tells him.

"B-Bro..Bro Code?" Zayn frowned, that term was very unknown to him.

"Well explain in the living room," Jerome says to him. "Come on fellas."

The four guys went in the living room, they turned off the TV and sat on the couch. Zayn instantly grew nervous about this Bro Code.

"Rule number one; bros will protect other bros."

About time you read this chapter it would be 2017 already or a few hours before idk but I want to apologize right now because you had to wait for the next few updates . I'm not in the position that I can update when I'm done with very chapter because I just can't and if I could .. I would be finished around the first week of January . I love this story and I already kinda know where I'm going with this . And I know that I should've told you guys last chapter but I'm just a dumbass for not doing it . I was just excited that I just published the few chapters but now you are going to wait until I finish the rest and it sucks . But don't worry because I will be writing until I finish it which should be soon since I write a lot already but you will just have to wait for the update . I'm sorry but that's how life is right now ..

Also , I hope that your New Years was great because you all are great people . Thank you so much for the support . I love you all ❤️❤️ .
