Y/N-

A week after my interview at KTH Enterprise, I finally received the email. With my heart pounding, I opened it, my eyes skimming over the lines until they landed on the words I had been hoping for: "We are pleased to offer you the internship position..."

I gasped, rereading the email to make sure I hadn't imagined it. I'd done it—I'd actually gotten the internship! The months of studying, the countless hours preparing, and all those anxious moments had paid off. I felt a surge of excitement, a joy that I couldn't contain as I squealed and spun around in my room, letting the reality of it sink in. My internship was going to be at one of the top companies, with a reputation that stretched across the industry. It felt like the start of something bigger than I'd ever dared to imagine.

Without a second thought, I bolted out of my room to find my parents. My mother was in the kitchen, and my father was reading in the living room. They looked up as I burst in, grinning ear to ear.

"I got the internship!" I blurted out, barely able to keep the excitement out of my voice. "I'm officially an intern at KTH Enterprise!"

My father's face lit up with pride, and my mother dropped what she was doing, coming over to pull me into a hug.

"Oh, Y/n! That's incredible! We're so proud of you!" she exclaimed, holding me tightly.

My father joined us, smiling as he patted my shoulder. "I knew you'd make it, Y/n. This is only the beginning—work hard, and you'll achieve so much more."

Hearing those words from my father made my heart swell with pride. He'd always encouraged me, but knowing he genuinely believed in my potential meant the world to me. I was determined to make him proud, to live up to the faith he'd placed in me.

After sharing the news with my family, I decided to meet up with Jungkook and Tzuyu later that evening to tell them too. They'd been there for me through everything, from the late-night study sessions to the endless mock interviews. They knew how much this internship meant to me, and I couldn't wait to share the joy with them.

As evening fell, I made my way to our favorite café, the one where we'd spent countless hours laughing, studying, and dreaming about the future. I spotted Jungkook and Tzuyu already seated at our usual booth, deep in conversation, and I felt a rush of affection for them both. They'd been such a huge part of my life; their support had been constant, and I couldn't imagine going through any of this without them.

I slid into the booth, grinning. "Hey, guys!"

They looked up, immediately sensing my excitement.

"What's up?" Tzuyu asked, a knowing smile spreading across her face. "You look like you're about to burst."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Did you win the lottery or something?"

"Better," I replied, leaning in as if I were about to share a huge secret. "I got the internship at KTH Enterprise!"

Tzuyu's eyes went wide, and she squealed, clapping her hands together. "Oh my god, Y/n! That's amazing! I knew you could do it!"

Jungkook's smile broadened, his expression filled with pride. "Wow, Y/n! Congratulations! That's huge! I mean, KTH Enterprise? You're gonna learn so much there!"

Hearing their excitement only made mine grow. We ordered a round of celebratory drinks, and they bombarded me with questions—about the interview, what the job would entail, and how I was feeling about it. I told them everything, reliving the nervousness, the challenge, and the eventual relief when I'd gotten the news. We spent hours talking, laughing, and imagining what it would be like to work in such a prestigious place.

Tzuyu leaned over the table, her eyes twinkling. "So, you'll be seeing Kim Taehyung again, huh? Maybe this time, you'll actually have a chance to talk to him properly!"

I rolled my eyes, laughing. "I'm not sure I'm ready for that just yet. He's my boss now, Tzuyu. I can't exactly fangirl over him."

Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, just don't let him intimidate you. You earned this, Y/n. You deserve to be there as much as anyone."

His words filled me with a warmth that soothed any lingering doubts I'd had. It was one thing to hear encouragement from family, but having my best friends believe in me too was a reminder of how lucky I was to have them by my side.

As the night wore on, I realized how much my life was about to change. This internship was the start of something new, a stepping stone toward the dreams I'd been building for as long as I could remember. There was a part of me that felt nervous—wondering if I was truly ready for what lay ahead. But with the unwavering support of the people I cared about, I felt like I could take on anything.

Leaving the café that night, I looked at Jungkook and Tzuyu, realizing that while my path was leading me to new places, they'd always be a part of my journey. They'd rooted for me, believed in me, and helped me take the first steps toward a future I could finally see coming to life.

As I headed home, a smile lingered on my face. I didn't know what the future held, but for the first time, I felt ready to find out.

JUNGKOOK-

Ever since our final exams ended, life had felt strangely quiet. The whirlwind of studying, the late-night sessions with Y/n and Tzuyu, the routine of campus life—it had all come to a sudden halt. And, strangely enough, I realized I missed something unexpected: the anonymous letters. They'd arrived at odd intervals, little confessions that had gradually found their way into my day. Even though I hadn't figured out who wrote them, a part of me looked forward to each one, intrigued by the mystery. But after the exams, they'd stopped. No more cryptic words scribbled on cream-colored paper, no more signs of the anonymous admirer who had somehow become a small, almost comforting part of my life.

I brushed off the thought and focused on the here and now. I was meeting Y/n and Tzuyu this evening, and I was looking forward to seeing them again. I missed the old days of meeting up at university, going to our favorite cafés, laughing about anything and everything. But I reminded myself that life moves forward, and this was just the next chapter.

Speaking of new chapters, I'd been putting serious thought into my own future lately. The idea of a startup had been in the back of my mind for a while now. I'd been toying with concepts, researching the market, running numbers—doing everything I could to make the dream feel achievable. But to really get this off the ground, I'd need financing. And that meant taking out a loan. The thought made me slightly nervous, but I knew I was ready. The real world was waiting, and it was time for me to step up.

That evening, I headed to the café to meet Y/N and Tzuyu. When I walked in, they were already there at our usual booth, laughing about something. Y/n looked especially radiant, her smile bright and eyes sparkling in a way I couldn't quite put my finger on. She waved me over, and I felt an instant sense of ease, like I was home again.

"Hey, Jungkook!" she said, grinning as I slid into the booth. "You took your time, didn't you?"

I laughed, scratching the back of my head. "Traffic, you know? But hey, I'm here now."

We ordered our drinks, and the conversation picked up effortlessly, just like it always did. Y/n was beaming with excitement and, after a little coaxing from Tzuyu, finally shared her big news: she'd landed an internship at KTH Enterprise.

"KTH Enterprise?" I raised an eyebrow, genuinely impressed. "Y/n, that's amazing! You know how competitive it is to get in there, right?"

She nodded, her cheeks tinged pink. "I know! I still can't believe it myself. I'll be working under Kim Taehyung's team. It's surreal."

I could see how much this meant to her, and I was thrilled for her. She'd worked so hard; she deserved this opportunity.

"Just don't forget us when you're some big executive there," I teased, nudging her.

Y/n laughed, rolling her eyes. "Please. I'll be lucky if I survive the internship without embarrassing myself."

After we finished celebrating Y/n's success, Tzuyu looked at me expectantly. "And what about you, Jungkook? What's next for you?"

I paused, feeling a rush of nervous energy. This was the first time I was saying it out loud. "Well, I've been thinking about starting my own business—a startup."

Their eyes widened, and Y/n's face lit up with excitement. "Really, Jungkook? That's incredible! What kind of business?"

I took a breath, leaning in as I shared my plans. "It's still in the early stages, but I'm looking into launching something in tech. I've done the research, and I think there's a real opportunity here. I'll need a loan to get started, but I've been preparing for it."

Tzuyu looked impressed. "Wow, that's brave, Jungkook. But I think you'll be amazing at it. You've always had the vision and drive."

Y/n nodded, her eyes warm with support. "Absolutely. We believe in you, Jungkook."

Hearing them say that felt like a weight lifting off my shoulders. The road ahead was daunting, but knowing that my best friends had my back gave me the extra push I needed. We spent the rest of the evening talking about our plans, our dreams, and all the things we wanted to achieve. The future was uncertain, but I felt ready to face it.

As the night wore on, Y/n's smile would occasionally falter, a flicker of something unspoken passing over her face. I didn't press her, assuming it was just the nervous excitement of starting her internship. But there was a part of me that felt I should ask—should try to dig deeper. She'd been quieter lately, a little more reserved, but I chalked it up to the changes we were all going through.

Before we parted ways that night, I caught her looking at me with an expression I couldn't quite place, almost as if she wanted to say something but held back. I thought of the anonymous letters, a part of me wondering if they might somehow be connected to her. But that didn't make sense; she'd never shown any hint of...well, anything more than friendship. The idea that Y/n could be the girl behind those words felt almost laughable.

But as we hugged goodbye and she pulled back, her eyes lingering just a second longer than usual, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something I was missing.
