3rd POV:

As both sides closing in, the task force began to open fire at short range and so does the Shadow Company. But none of the bullets hit its target because they were too agile. Soon enough, both sides ran out of ammunitions and they turned to their melee. Price charged towards Gen. Shepherd as he launched his attack but Gen. Shepherd managed to block it. (Y/n) have to deal with two enemies since he's the only one who can summoned ghost to help him. (Y/n) continuously attacked his target. His enemy barely blocked all of his attack as (Y/n) saw an opening on his left side and drove his kukri and stabbed the enemy's stomach and twirled it making a large stab wound. His ememy punched him in his face and he stumbled back but he managed to regain his posture and lunged forward to him. The enemy tried to slash him but he evaded it and ran to his back. (Y/n) then grabbed his head and stabbed him and the back of his neck, making him instantly dead. (Y/n) then released his head and began help Soap defeating his target.

As Soap and (Y/n) managed to kill the target, they were interrupted when they heard a shout.

???: "AAARRRGHHHHHHH!"

They turned their head towards the sound and saw Roach holding his wound and fell down on his knees. His enemy lifted his sword to kill him but (Y/n) summoned a ghost near Roach and the ghost blocked the enemy sword and the ghost unsheathed the melee and stabbed the enemy's heart multiple times. The enemy's lifeless body dropped to the ground as Roach turned his head towards (Y/n) and gave him a thumb up before losing his consciousness. (Y/n) and Soap ran towards him to check if he's still breathing or not and lucky, that bastard was still alive.

Soap: "Let's go and- ARRRGGGGGHHH!" he was cut off when he got shot twice at his right arm and his right leg.

(Y/n): "NOOO!"

Gen. Shepherd: "You give me the challenge. But you're not too strong to kill me."

(Y/n) then looked at Gen. Shepherd who was holding Price's neck. Price was heavily wounded as multiple stab wounds and cuts can be seen.

(Y/n): "Price! Don't kill him, Shepherd!"

Gen. Shepherd: "Oh so now you're begging me not to kill him? Well, I don't kill people. My gun does the job." Without hesitation, he aimed his gun at Price head. Price looked at (Y/n) and smiled as he knew that it will be his last moment. He closed his eyes and Gen. Shepherd shot him, making a large hole on his head as his brain splattered on the ground. He then dropped Price lifeless body as (Y/n) watched his body fell to the ground with pure shock, sad and anger.

Gen. Shepherd: "He's a good soldier. Shame on him that he doesn't accept my proposal to join my cause." He said while holstered his gun back.

(Y/n): "You... You.." He looked to the ground and clenched his fists.

Gen. Shepherd: "Yes? You want to die too?"

(Y/n): "No.... YOU WILL DIE!" (Y/n) then unsheathed his kukri and turned it into dual-wield and dashed towards Gen. Shepherd. Gen. Shepherd then took his stance and as soon as (Y/n) approached him, their weapon clashed. (Y/n) began to attack aggressively but all of his attack were blocked by Gen. Shepherd. Gen. Shepherd calmly blocked his attacks while waiting for an opportunity to strike. He then saw an opening on his right and he delivered his punch on his right side and managed to hit on his right and crack sound can be heard clearly. (Y/n) screamed in pain as he pulls away from the fight but didn't realized Gen. Shepherd next move. He grabbed (Y/n)'s hand and pulled him closer and delivered several punches on his face making him stumbled backward. He then took his knife and stabbed on the center of his chest and he fells backward to the ground.

Soap: "(Y/n) no!!!!" Soap tried to reach for his pistol but he was stopped by Gen. Shepherd when he kicked his hand and punched his face hard, knocking him out. Soap lost his consciousness. Then, Gen. Shepherd turned to (Y/n) who was still on the ground, grunting in pain while reloading his gun.

Gen. Shepherd: "Shame on you, Ghost. Soldier like you should join my cause rather than being a puppet under government's control."

(Y/n): "I...I will.. never join people...like you...""

Gen. Shepherd: *chuckles* "You sounded just like your father. Tell me, how do you feel when you found your family dead killed by me?" (Y/n)'s eyes widen and he looked at Gen. Shepherd with pure anger.

(Y/n): "You... You killed my family?!"

Gen. Shepherd: "Oppss, I'm sorry. Yes I killed them."

(Y/n): "You.. You filthy pig!"

Gen. Shepherd: "Yeah keep talking shit. Don't worry. I will arrange appointment to meet your family."

(Y/n): "And I will arrange the appointment to meet the God eventhough God doesn't want to see you."

Gen. Shepherd: "Goodluck with that." Gen. Shepherd aimed his gun towards (Y/n). But unbeknownst to him, Yang rose up from her cover and ran towards him as she punched hardly on his face making him fell to the ground. Gen. Shepherd groaned in pain as he hold his face. Yang then crouched next to (Y/n).

Yang: "Oh my god, (Y/n)! Stay with me!"

(Y/n): "Yang... Why did you... you..." After that, he lost his consciousness. Yang started to cry as she shook (Y/n) to wake him up.

Gen. Shepherd: "How sad to see this situation...." She then turned her head towards him.

Yang: "Shut up! You don't know how important he is to me! You just took his whole family from his live! And you will pay for what you have done!"

Yang rose up and ran towards Gen. Shepherd.

Yang: "AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGHHHHHHH!" She began to delivers several punchs and Gen. Shepherd kept dodging it. He then uppercut her and kick her on her stomach sending her backward to the ground. Yang grunted in pain but she rose up and tried to attack him but failed as he catched her fist and punched her face. He then grabbed her neck and began to squeez it. Yang struggled to break free from his grip as she was chocking for air.

Gen. Shepherd: *chuckles* "I have to admit. You managed to touch my face. You are strong. But not too strong. And you will die." He said as he puts more pressure on Yang's neck.

Yang: "(Y/n)....p-please...w-wake... up.."

Gen. Shepherd: "Oh he will never wa-" but he was cut off when someone grabbed his hand and stabbed a knife, making Gen. Shepherd released Yang.

Gen. Shepherd: "AAARRGHHH! WHAT THE-" he was kicked by someone and sent backwards few feets from Yang.

Yang, who slowly regained her breath, looked at the person who just saved his life. Her eyes were in disbelief as she saw that person. It was...

Yang: "(Y-(Y/n)?!" This caught (Y/n) attention as he looked over his shoulder. He turned his body towards her and smiled. He then lowered his body and kissed on her forehead. Yang noticed that his eyes were not in the normal colour. His eyes was pure purple and golden aura surrounded his body.

(Y/n): "Don't worry, Yang. I'll take this from here." He then turned his body towards Gen. Shepherd who rose up from the ground while holding his hand.

(Play the music)

Gen. Shepherd: "How.. How the fuck you still alive?!"

(Y/n): "I'm not dead. I just lost my consciousness." His aura started to glow brighter. "You killed my family. You killed Price who I considered as my own father. You bring havoc to this world. And most of all, you touched my GIRL. And you will DIE." He then summoned 4 ghosts near him and the ghosts began to ran towards him.

Gen. Shepherd then activates his semblance which hardened his skin. He then ran towards (Y/n) at full speed and tries to attack him but when he reached him, (Y/n) teleported himself through his ghost and he kicked Gen. Shepherd at his back sending his forward and crashed through the wall of the building. (Y/n) then ran towards him and grabbed him by his neck and threw him outside of the building. Gen. Shepherd pulled out the knife from his hand and ran towards (Y/n) and stabbed him at his face but the knife broke on contact and he looked at it in disbelief. (Y/n) then grabbed his neck and started to punch violently and managed to break Gen. Shepherd nose. He released him and Gen. Shepherd was about to attack him again but (Y/n) teleported behind him and kicked him. Then he teleported back at his front and uppercut him. And again, he teleported to his left side and grabbed his head and knee-butt him threw him several feet into the rubbles. Gen. Shepherd groaned in pain as he tries to stand up. He was shocked that his power was so powerful that it still can bring the damage to his hardened skin. He unholstered his gun and aimed at (Y/n).

(Y/n) then picked up his kukri knife near him and summoned a ghost. But the ghost looked familiar. Then he realized, it was Price who he summoned. He smiled and looked back at Gen. Shepherd. He then began to ran towards Gen. Shepherd as he activates his fire manipulation and channeled his semblance to his knife making the blade engulfed in fire. Gen. Shepherd begin to fire at him but he dodged all the bullets and he then summoned another ghost and the ghost jumped in the mid air.  As he approached Gen. Shepherd, he fired his last shot but (Y/n) teleported. He looked for (Y/n) everywhere but he can't find him.

(Y/n): "Up here!"

Gen. Shepherd then looked above him and saw (Y/n) covered in flames as he began to dive towards Gen. Shepherd.

(Y/n): "You will die, Shepherd!"

Price then reappeared next to (Y/n) and hold the knife together with (Y/n) as they dive towards Gen. Shepherd for final blow.

(Y/n)/Price: "AAARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Gen. Shepherd: "NNOOOOOOOOO!" He was about to run but failed when the knife pierced through his heart. The flame quickly surrounded his body as he used his last breath to scream. (Y/n) then flipped backward and landed on his knee as he watched Gen. Shepherd died slowly. The flame was so powerful that Gen. Shepherd was quickly roasted.

(Y/n): "For now, rest in hell. I hope that god doesn't have mercy on you."

He then walked away as Price reappeared to his side and put his arm around (Y/n)'s neck.

Price: "I'm proud of you..." He said and smiled. (Y/n) looked at him and smiled with a single tear flown on his cheek. Price then slowly turned into white dust and disappeared from his sight.

(Y/n): "It's all over... Rest in peace, Price." His power suddenly disappeared and he felt the pain from the stab wound and fell on one knees.

Yang: "(Y/n)!!" She ran towards him as (Y/n) saw her and tried to stand up. But eventually, all his energy was depleted and he began to fall to the ground but Yang managed to catch him.

Yang: "Stay with me, (Y/n)! You're going to be fine. Don't die on me yet!"

(Y/n): "M-Must... rest...." He slowly began to loss his consciousness.

Yang: "(Y/n), stay with me! I'm going to get you out from here! Wake up! Don't close your eyes!" Soon, he passed out. Suddenly, 4  bullheads came and landed in the base and began to evacuate the (Y/n), Yang, injured soldiers and fallen soldiers out from the base. As they flew from the base, a B-1 bomber flew above the 4 bullheads and began to drop the bombs and complete destroyed the whole base.

*Timeskips after 2 months.*

After the aftermath, all of the Shadow Company's activity around Vale were completely stopped and the soldiers surrendered themselves. Proper burial has been made for the fallen soldiers who died in the battle a week after the event.

(Y/n), Roach and Soap were discharged from the hospital after they're fully recovered. Roach and Soap went back to Task Force 141 to take care some business. But for (Y/n), its time for him to take a rest for a while.

(Y/n)'s POV:

I was walking in the graveyard near Beacon as I tried to find Price's tombstone. After a good 5 minutes of walking, I finally found the tombstone, where Price is now resting. I crouched and put my hand on the tombstone.

"Captain John Price, Task Force 141, Vale Special Air Service."

"Live up upon those wing on the chest and give them hell."

I chuckled at the last word. He said that during the Operation Dying Shadow. He was really good in boosting the morale of the troops. But now, it was the hard time for the Task Force 141. We've lost the most important person in our community. He was like our own father. His lost really gave the others a hard time.

(Y/n): "Hey, Price. I hope that you're in Valhala now.... Just came here to check you. Soap, Roach and I were fully recovered from the injuries. And I hope you too." I let out a small sigh as a single tear flown on my cheek. "I should get going now. I'll try to find some time to pay you a visit." I stood up and saluted. "See you again, Captain." I lowered my salute and walked away. I looked over my shoulder and I swear that I could see Price standing next to his tombstone and saluted me. I smiled and he faded away.

-Beacon's rooftop-

Yang's POV:

It was dawn. And the view of the sunset was very beautiful. I don't for how long I was admiring the beauty of the sunset.

???: "Took a while for me to find you." I was snapped because of the voice and I turned my head towards it and saw (Y/n). I stared at him for a while and tears began to forming up. I ran towards him and pulled him into hug which he gladly returned it.

Yang: "I'm glad that you're safe!"

(Y/n): "Same as me, Yang...." I don't want to break the hug. I didn't even know that I've tighten the hug, making him grasping for air.

(Y/n): "Y-Yang.... Ne....Need.. air..." I instantly broke the hug.

Yang: "Whoopsss... Sorry..."

(Y/n): "It's... Fine..." He said between his breath. "What...are you.....doing.. up here?" Clearly, the hug was really tight that it make him grasping for air.

Yang: "Just...clearing my mind as I admire the beauty of the sunset..." (Y/n) turned his gaze towards the sunset and smiled.

(Y/n): "Yeah... Its beautiful..." There was a moment of silence between us before he continued. "You know, its a good thing to see after all of the hell...."

Yang: "I know. You managed to take down the Shadow Company!"

(Y/n): "But with a cost.... Men still died because of the operation..." I then slowly cupped his face.

Yang: "(Y/n).. Those men who died during the battle, were willingly sacrificed their lives for a better cause. Even Price does the same. Eveything has its own cost. But for now, we have to keep moving on. I'm sure that Price, and the rest of your family were looking at you from the heaven, with a wide smile on their faces knowing that you managed to revenge for their lives. Don't be too sad, babe! After all, the world is now freed from Shadow Company's threat." He smiled and then he pulled me into a passionate kiss. I was shocked at first but soon melted into it. We kissed for a good.... I don't know how long but soon parted as we're lack of oxygen. He then rested his forehead against mine.

(Y/n): "Thanks, Yang. For always be there on my side.

Yang: "No, (Y/n). Thank you for coming into my life." He smiled and we both stayed in that position.

(Y/n): "I love you, my goldilock."

Yang: "I love you too, my precious ghost."

A/n: Yeah. A long chapter. I've tried my best to make the fighting scene to be more intense and interesting and I'm sorry if it doesn't meet the expectation.
