(Y/n)'s POV:

I was packing up my things after we got our new orders from Captain Price that we were moving to a new place at Beacon Academy. I don't know why but orders are orders. As I packed my things, I found an old photo of me and Yang at the funfair during our childhood. I also found my necklace that I kept it with my photo. I remembered the day that I gave her the necklace.

-flashback-

We were on our way back to our home after the school session. I decided to suprise Yang with a new gift. As we were walking, I stopped and called her name.

(Y/n): "Yang." She stopped and turned to me. "I have something for you." I put my bag on the ground and unzipped it and took out a yellow box. I handed to her as she looked at me and the box with confused.

Yang: "What is this?" She asked as she grabbed it from my hand. She opened it and was completely shocked with the discovery.

(Y/n): "A gift for my best friend." Then, she took out a necklace from the box. It was a necklace with a symbol and it was exactly the same as her symbol. She then lunged to me and pulled me into hug.

Yang: "Thank you! Thank you! You are my best friend!" She said with joyfull.

(Y/n): "Anytime for my best friend. Here, let me help you to put it." I took it from her hand and helped her to put the necklace. After that, she turned to face me. "Yang, you look very beautiful with that necklace." She blushed and she leaned closer and pulled me into another hug. I was suprised with her sudden move.

Yang: "(Y/n), promise me, that you will never leave me alone?" She asked and I returned the hug.

(Y/n): "Yang, no matter what happens, I will never leave you alone. You are my bestfriend. And I will always be there by your side." She tighten her hug, not wanting to let me go.

Yang: "Thank you, (Y/n)... Thank you.."

-end of flashback-

(Y/n): "Whenever you are right now, I hope that you always take care of yourself.... I've been missing you since I went missing... But I will always keep my promise to you."

???: "Ya still keep the old photo of you and Yang eh.." I turned around and saw Roach, my cousin.

(Y/n): "Yeah.. this is the only thing that keeps me remember about her." He the walked closer to me and put his hand on my shoulder.

Roach: "Don't worry, Ghost. Soon, you will meet her again." I nodded and smiled. "By the way, have you finished pack your things?"

(Y/n): "For the basic needs, yeah. And for my gears, still 30% left."

Roach: "Good. We still have 1 hour to clean up. Just chill a bit and continue to pack the things up, alright?" I nodded and we continued to pack our things.

We walked to our bullheads where we meet with Soap and Price.

Price: "Lads. Now that everyone is here, let me brief you a bit. The reason we moved you to the Beacon is that we have informations from the Central Intelligence of Remnant telling that Shadow Company might launch an attack on Beacon. As for our first move, you will be the first team to be put at there as safety precaution. Once you arrived there, you will meet with Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon."

Roach: "Great. School time." He said and I laughed a bit.

Soap: "Don't worry, we don't have to attend the class."

(Y/n): "Yes!" I shouted and three my fist to the air. All of the three can do is laugh.

Price: "Allright. Get your arses into the bullhead. I wish you a goodluck at your new place."

All: "Yes sir." And we saluted. We boarded the bullhead with our things and lifted off. I took out my necklace which was the same as Yang from my pocket and stared at it. Roach noticed this and he put his hand on my shoulder and smiled. I nodded and wrapped the necklace around my wrist.

(Y/n)'s thought: "I will meet with you again, Yang." I leaned to the seat and closed my eyes for a short nap.

(Y/n)'s POV:

After 1 hour of flight, Vale is in our sight. And we can see the Beacon Academy and I have to admit, it was pretty huge. We slowly approached the Beacon's landing pad. The pilot carefully controlled his bullhead and make a perfect landing on the pad. One of the crew opened the bullhead's ramp and waited for his signal. I put on my mask to hide my identity for a while. The crew gave us a thumbs up and we stood up from our seats, grabbed our things and equipments and exited the bullhead. As we make a left turn, I saw 4 girls. Red, White, Black and Yellow. But the yellow and the red caught my eyes.

(Y/n)'s thought: "Why do they look familiar....."

Soap: "I assumed that the girls are here to meet us."

Roach: "I think so... Let's meet the girls." Soap and I nodded and we walked towards the girl. As we approached them, I saw the yellow one with a shocked expression. I shook my head and thinked that maybe just my imagination. We reached in front of them and Soap greeted them.

Soap: "Morning girls. I assumed that you are here to meet us?"

Red: "Yes we are! Let me introduce ourselves. My name is Ruby Rose!"

(Y/n)'s thought: "Ruby?!"

White: "I'm Weiss Schnee. It's a pleasure to meet you guys." She said and bowed a bit.

Black: "Blake Belladonna." She introduced simply.

Yellow: "And I'm Yang Xiao Long!"

(Y/n)'s thought: "Y-Yang?! Is that really you?!" I have a shocked expression on my fave but luckily, my mask covered it.

Ruby: "And we are team RWBY!"

Soap: "It's a pleasure to meet you all. Now, it's our turn. My name is John Mactavish, team leader."

(Y/n): "My name is Ghost, and I am his second in command."

Roach: "My name is Gary Sanderson, or you can call me as Roach. And we're from Task Force 141."

Yang: "Wait, Gary? Are you, (Y/n)'s cousin?" Roach tilted his head a bit, confused on what she just asked. From his mask, I can tell you that he is wondering how the hell she knows about it.

Roach: "Umm... yes. Me and (Y/n) are cousin."

Yang: "Did you know where he is now?!" She asked with a hint of hope from her question.

Roach: "Yes I do but, I'll have Ghost to tell you about it." As he said that, he gestured the others to leave both of us for a while. Yang turned her attention towards me.

Yang: "Umm.. Ghost? Can I ask you something?" I nodded. "Where did you get that necklace?" She asked as she pointed her finger towards the necklace at my wrist. I let out a sigh and smiled behind my mask.

(Y/n): "It's about time for the truth, Yang."

Yang's POV:

Ghost: "It's about time for the truth, Yang."

I was confused on what he said just now. He then reached for his mask and pulled it, revealing his face. And I was completely in shocked. It was him, the guy who I've missed so much. It was (Y/n).....

(Y/n): "It's good to see you again, best friend." He said and smiled. And I broke into tears and pulled him into a hug.

Yang: "Oh oum (Y/n)! Where have you been?!"

(Y/n): "I..... k-know... you... m-miss... me but.... too.... t-tight..." he said while having a hard time to breath because of my hug. I immediantly released it.

Yang: "Whoopss.... sorry (Y/n)..." I said while he regained his posture and his breath. He then looked at me and use his thumbs to wipe off my tears.

(Y/n): "It's okay Yang... I'm here now. But I'm suprised to see you in Beacon."

Yang: "Well... looks like fate make both of us meet at the same place."

(Y/n): "Yeah.. you can say that. How ha-" immediantly, he was cut off when he was tackled to the ground by, Ruby. "OW! What the-Ruby?"

Ruby: "OHMYOUMOHMYOUMIT'SYOUI'VEMISSYOUSOMUCH!" She said with only one breath and she was extremely happy to meet with him again.

Yang: "Ruby! You've hurt him for the first time!" I said as she got up from him and helped him.

Ruby: "Eeeppp! Sorry, (Y/n)."

(Y/n): "It's fine.. I've been in the worse situation..." he said while dusted himself off.
"You still haven't grow up, eh?" He teased Ruby and I laughed.

Ruby: "Hey! I drink milk, okay?" She said and crossed her arms.

(Y/n): "Anyway, It's good to meet you both again... I really miss you both so much..."

Ruby: "You have a lots of explaination to do.... and right now, I'll leave you both. See ya again, (Y/n)!" As she said that, she walked back towards the rest, leaving both of us.

(Y/n): "Yang..." I turned my attention to him. "I'm sorry for my sudden dissapearance. I have to do it in order to get my revenge."

Yang: "Revenge? Why?"

(Y/n): "That's the story that I will tell you later. But I'm truly sorry for leaving you behind, I know that I have broke our pro-" I cut him off by leaned closer to him and hugged. "Yang?"

Yang: "It's doesn't matter right now. You are here. I really miss you. But now, I'm happy that you are here." He then wrapped his arm around me.

(Y/n): "I know, Yang. I missed you too. Everyday I miss you since I left. Only photos and the necklace keeps me remember about you."

Yang's thought: "He still keep the necklace... and he doesnt forget about me. I'm really happy about this."

Yang: "Promise me, that you will never leave me again?"

(Y/n): "I promise, Yang. I promise......"

Yang's thought: "Oh my oum.. he gained a lot of muscles since the last time I've met him.... Wait, why I'm thinking like this?"

We then broke the hug.

(Y/n): "Now, where the fuck is my team.."

Yang: "Oh! I almost forgot that we have to bring you to meet with Professor Ozpin..."

(Y/n): "Ahhh no wonder why they disappeared. Well, can you lead the way, Yang?"

Yang: "Oh sure~ anything for my best friend. And you owe me some stories!" He giggled.

(Y/n): "Okay Yang... I will tell you some fairy tales." I smiled and we started to walk.
