Asia has a long and rich cultural history and over the decades, Asians have moved to all parts of the world. Yet we barely see genuine Asian characters in stories. We hope to change that.

#ProjectAsia aims to encourage the representation of Asian characters in their realistic and raw form.

A character isn't Asian just by their name or color, but in the way they think and act.

Asian is full of rich cultures and various religions and it's time we see them in stories too.

It's completely acceptable to write about a character that is detached/running from their heritage but you can't remove their identity from them.

Asian characters need to be free of judgement, and here we'll support writers that are struggling with this Asian and non-Asian writers alike.

Not only do we encourage diversity but we're also here to break stereotypes amongst Asian characters.

There are fifty countries (including territories) in Asia, but how many times have you read about a character that belongs to one of those regions?

If your mind went to Kpop fanfictions that have a lot of Asian characters, how many times are they represented honestly?
