"What?!" Butch burst out with a laugh. When no one joins him it dies away into fear.

"We don't know what your talking about," I insist. The girls look at each other and the green one presses a button. Our beds tilt forward until we're horizontal.

"Mojo made a group called super humans. They were stronger, faster, smarter. He used it once, but it failed. We came to retrieve the drug before he reused it..." pink left it hang there.

"We were too late. He reused it on you, making you unstable and unpredictable. Now we have to extract it before they explode-" the green one starts.

"Explode?! Get. It. Out!" I scream, wriggling in the chains. My brothers don't say anything but they have panic written clearly on their faces.

"How do we know your not lying?" Brick asks nervously.

"Because we saw it fail the first time," Blue says with a stiff face. Who were these girls? How did they know anything about this?

"So what are you going to do with it once you extract it?" Butch asks.

"Destroy it of course. No one deserves to experience that pain," Green says calmly. I glance at my brothers and Brick puts on a faulty smile.

"We don't really have a choice in this do we?" he asks. The pink one smiles but it's a sad one.

"No."

The girls wheeled us to Mojo's lab and set the bed so it was tilting forward slightly. Green and blue disappeared to get the extractor and pink went to the computer. She hacked through the whole system! How is that even possible?

"So is this gonna hurt or..." Butch let the rest hand in the air. Pink turned to us and gave a small sad smile. For some reason I have a feeling she really doesn't want to do this.

"We'll just have to see," she says.

"So how come Mojo never told us that there were others of us?" I ask in confusion. I thought Mojo told us everything.

"A lot of things changed within that man you call Mojo after his lab accident," she says. I catch a very angry tone as she turns her back to us.

"You knew him before?" Brick asks, surprised. Pink's back stiffens and she stares at the screen.

"No. I knew Professor Z," she said and hit a button. Me and my brothers exchange a look as pink turns back to us. "Which is why I'm stopping this."

"You put too much trust in your judgment of me, child," a voice says with a small laugh. Pink turns in surprise, her hip hitting the lever and making us turn as well. We smile when we see Mojo, but the horror on Pink's face melts it off.

"You are not Professor Z. You are his worst nightmare!" she screamed and grabbed a kitchen knife that was lying on the floor. That was how they broke in? with a knife, hammer, and some rope?

"How would you know what I feared? You were always too caught up in those books of yours to even pay attention," Mojo hissed. I looked at the girl and saw her knife hand twitch.

"Those books kept me alive!" she fights back, regaining her hold on the knife.

"Go on, dear. I dare you to throw that knife at me," Mojo said taking a few steps forward. Pink's eyes were under a strict shield, but nothing could mask the hatred on her face.

"We all know you don't fear that," she hissed and then cut the ropes that bonded Brick. Mojo's eyes widened in horror as she grabbed Brick's arm and dragged him behind her. Brick looked petrified. He eyed her knife with uncertainty, and her fist with terror. She had bested him in hand to hand combat and broken his arm. He couldn't have fought either way.

"If you touch a hair on his head I'll-" Mojo started but she cut him off.

"You'll what? Stick me in jail? Kill me? You've tried and failed at both," she says with pleasure. Mojo a killer? What was he not telling us?

"You tried to kill her?" Butch asks in horror. Mojo's eyes reflected pain but his face didn't falter. We had read books about killing. It was horrible.

"I did it for you! She would have taken the vials and smashed them!" Mojo says. We turn to the girl but her face is steady.

"No one deserves to go through what we did. No one!" she shouts. Does that mean? they were the ones before us?!

Just then Green and Blue appeared with the extractor. As soon as they saw Mojo they dropped it and got out their weapons.

"Mojo," Blue hissed and gave a cruel smile. "Have I been waiting for this moment." my eyes were stuck on pink. She looked torn as she stared between blue and Mojo.

"God I hate making the good decisions," I hear her murmur and grabs Brick. He flinches at her rough tough but allows her to wrap one arm around him. He actually looks shocked. "You're gonna have to wait a little longer, Bubbles. Grab and go!" she shouted before turning and running out the door with Brick.

Blue stared after her and Mojo lost his mask. "No! Attack!" he screeches. Blue's eyes widen and she raves towards me as the robots stream in.

"Damn damn damn damn!" she yells, cutting off my ropes. She grabs me without hesitation and races into through another door. My last glimpse of my brothers is Butch rubbing with green before the doors slammed.

"So let's just assume your the good guy for a moment," she doesn't respond. "Why did he let you go?"

"Look kid, noes not the time for my life story," she pants, stopping at a cross section. I roll my eyes and grab her hand, dragging her to the right.

"Front doors this way," I say as I do it. Within a few seconds we dropped hands and were running side by side.

"I knew that," she growls but there was a slight bit of humor in her words.

We raced down the hall to a room with a door. She grabs the door handle and shakes it, but it was locked. I turned and backed up as the robots came in. The girl's eyes go wide and she swears. She grabs my hand. "I'm gonna regret this."

"Wait? Regret what-!" I screamed as she flung me into the wall. I closed my eyes, bracing for impact but it never came. Blue appeared next to me and glanced back.

"We ain't clear yet, come on!" she ran towards the other wall and I followed her. We pushed through and ended up in a room with a portal wall. This time I cursed.

"We have to go back!" I say turning, only to see the robots arms poke through.

"No time. Come on!" she grabbed my hand and jumped through the portal. I screamed and colors rushed past us. I felt her fingers start to slip but I can't regain my grip. I turn and find her shoulder. I wrap my arms around her and pull her against me, bracing myself for the real impact that was about to come.

The portal opened up and hot air gushed at us. We screamed together as we fell into something soft and incredibly hot.

"Hot! Hot! Damn that's hot!" Blue screams, breaking from my embrace and scrambling to her feet. I was next to her only a second later. I look around and see that we were surrounded by grains. Sand grains to be exact.

"A dessert?" I guessed. Blue was stomping around cursing and I turned to her. "It sent us to a dessert."

"Thanks for the update, sherlock!" she said and sighed. She put a hand over her eyes and gazed at the distance. I walked over to her and gazed at the other direction. We were in a dessert, in the middle of nowhere!

"So how do we get out of here?" I ask nervously. Blue scoffs and turns to me, but I see worry in her eyes.

"We don't"
