My breath catches as my chin digs into the wood. Tears leak onto my cheeks as I squeeze my eyes shut, preparing for the sharp pain of death, but I feel nothing. I take a deep breath and slowly open my eye, popping open the other when I see my sisters staring at me open mouthed. For a second i'm worried that I'm already dead, but I pick up my arm and rub my neck, feeling it still attached to my body.

I look back at my sisters and notice that they aren't looking at me, but above me. I lift my chin up from the wood and look up, surprised to see that the silver blade from a second ago was...gone.

I turn around and fall onto my butt, gasping in surprise. Brick was floating in the air, red static glowing in his eyes and a dark aura surrounding him. His arms were crossed sternly and a scowl crossed his face. Behind him two robot's lay in scrap piles.

"I warned you Mojo. If you touch her you'll have to answer to me," Brick states calmly, his voice low and menacing. I gulp back my previous fear and smile, jumping to my feet and standing next to him, on the ground.

"You stupid boy!" Mojo screeches, standing up. "You want to fight? Let's finish this." he shakes his shoulders and his robe slides off to the floor, exposing his toned arms and cruel scars. I growl and take a step forward but someone grabs my shoulder. I look back and see Brick. His eyes have returned to their normal color but the black still surrounds him.

"This is my battle, Bloss," he says quietly, his eyes sad. I stare at him and he releases my shoulder, flying to meet Mojo on the battlefield. There were only two ways to end this and both required a life.

I shake my head and jump off the podium, stumbling a few steps forward, and run towards my sisters. Bubbles engulfs me in a hug as soon as I'm near enough and Buttercup wipes her tears.

"We were so afraid...I thought you would be dead! But he...he saved you!" bubbles sobs, clutching to me. I smile and hug her back, looking at Buttercup. She sighs and steps forward, giving us a quick squeeze.

"We have to help Brick," I say as soon as we split apart. Bubbles rubs her hand along her cheeks and Buttercup nods.

"We need weapons, though," she points out, looking around. It is a plain field with nothing but robots. Wait...

"I think I can help with that," I say with a slight smile. Bubbles and Buttercup glance nervously at each other before nodding and following me back to the podium.

As we're running a stray robot comes over and grabs me, throwing me over it's shoulder head first towards the ground. I put my hands out as they impact the ground, bending them as I flip to my feet. I turn, ready to attack the robot, but Buttercup is already in an arm wrestle.

"Keep...going!" Buttercup grunts, pressing down on the robots arms. Buttercup is strong, but so is a metal toy if destruction.

Bubbles grabs my hand and drags me towards the podium. I clear my mind of Buttercup and sprint forward, reaching the scrap metal just before Bubbles. I bend down and start digging through, throwing things over my shoulder while in search.

"What are we looking for?" Bubbles asks, searching the second robot. I release a tight breath as I wriggle out a silver piece from the back of the robot. I hold it out to show Bhbbles as she frowns at it.

"What us it?" She asks in confusion, holding up her own piece to the sun. The sun bounces off the silver into my eyes and I squint, grabbing it from Bubbles' hands.

"It's a hard drive. If I can get a hold of Mojo's crown than I think I can control the robot's..." I say, snapping one in half and flipping through the wires.

"Why mojo's crown?" Bubbles asks with a frown. I stick my tongue out slightly and break off a few wires.

"It's a voice activated controller. I figured it out when Brick told me that they let him go," I say, snapping it shut and standing up. I turn towards the battle of red and black with a frown. "I need that crown."

I land on the field and glare at Mojo. Mojo puffs out a few breaths and smiles evilly.

"I didn't want to hurt you, but you seem to leave me no choice," he says without a bit of sympathy. I smile back modestly.

"What can I say?" I say and frown, "I've got a knack with trouble."

"Indeed," Mojo agrees and screeches, charging forward. I growl and blast forward, red and black colliding.

I grab his arms and push him backwards, causing the grounds to shift under us. Mojo counters by digging his feet into the ground and freeing his hand, punching at me. I duck his hit and kick out his legs. But instead of falling on his back he uses his hands to flip and lands back on his feet. Stupid monkey powers.

"Give it up, boy, you can't beat me! love can only fuel you for so long," Mojo laughs, smiling wickedly. He charges forward, swinging a fist at me as I fly out of reach.

"But anger will last me forever," I growl and charge forward, my arm in front of me. I feel a slight tingling as flames lick hurtles sly onto my hand. Mojo gasps in shock and I speed forward, my fist colliding with his chest. He flies backwards and I chase after him.

He lays on the ground groaning slightly and looks at me. I fly down and start punching him fast, hitting his face and stomach. As I was punching I catch a flash of green and before I know it his fist collides with my face, knocking me backwards. I fly back and land on my feet, touching my lip. When I pull my hand away it's covered in blood.

Mojo hops out of his little hole and smiles evilly at me. I growl and feel the tingles starting on my hands.

"Hey Mojo!" a voice taunts, causing both our heads to turn. I stare in shock as I see Blossom standing there, smiling and dangling something silver in the air. "Looky what I got!" she sings, waving it. Mojo's eyes go wide and he growls, glaring.

"You arrogant little bitch!" Mojo shouts
, Getting ready to charge. Blossom leans her head back and laughs. I turn to Mojo, ready to blast him if he touches her when I see a flash of blue. I watch, stunned, as Blue runs across the field behind Mojo and snatches the crown right off his head, sprinting to Blossom's side. She hands Blossom the crown as Blossom smiles victoriously at Mojo. Mojo screeches in anger and charges at them. I blast fire at him, dragging his eyes back to me while Blue and Blossom run off.

"I'm right here you flea bag," I taunt, getting the laser feeling back in my eyes. Mojo snarled at me and charges again.

Blossom and I sprint away from Mojo, panting and smiling like idiots. When Blossom had first told me of her plan I thought she was crazy, but now I think she's crazy. Crazy brilliant.

We stop in front of the chairs as a hoard of robot's near in. I knew it would only be so long until they attacked, I just hopped longer than this.

Buttercup jogs over to us, blood trickling from a would on her forehead and bruises along her arms. She smiles as she spots the crown and stops.

"Decrowned the crazy. That oughta stop him," she replies sarcastically. How she can make jokes at a time like this confuses me.

"Actually it'll stop the robot's," Blossom corrects Buttercup, wasting no time to explain. She slams the crown into the concrete and it sparks before popping open. Buttercup watches with narrowed eyebrows as the robot's near in. By now they were extending their laser cannon arms. Terrific.

"Can we do this a lil faster?" I ask as they start shooting. Blasts clink against Mojo'z throne as we all duck for cover.

"I'm trying!" Blossom hisses, digging through wires in the crown. I turn towards Buttercup and she nods as we run out towards the robots. Blossom was gonna need a distraction if she was gonna finish this.

We reach the first robots and as I dodge they're lasers, Buttercup slams heavy rocks into their heads.

We were doing fine back-to-back until suddenly Buttercup grunted out in pain and fell, clutching her stomach.

"Buttercup!" I shout and smash a few near robots. I bend down and flip her over, seeing the burnt circle from a blaster. Buttercup gasps in pain, her arms shaking from shock. Inside I start to panic and I clutch her arm, praying for her to live as I look up and see the robots circling us. For the first time, I'm genuinely afraid.
