"My name is Lilly" the Panther-lady said, "well really my full name is Lilliana, but those I like get to call me Lilly" she said and 01 cocked its head.

"Do you really like me that much?" The little dragon asked and Lilly smiled, her fangs showing in the light of the room.

"Yes, little one, I like you a lot" she said and the words coming out made her realize that she actually wanted to take care of the little dragon in front of her, but that was something that would come up at a later time.

01 tried to spread apart its face in the way that Lilly was doing but it only managed to make the face of that of a growling predator, but Lilly noticed and smiled wider.

"Am I smiling?" 01 asked and Lilly laughed and nodded.

"Yes. Yes you are" she said, "I'll help you get better later on" and 01 closed it's mouth and nodded.

"Do you know how long you've been trapped in the place you were little one?" Lilly asked and 01 looked up in thought.

"The first thing I remember seeing if the large white thing in the sky humans call the moon. And The Bed was the first thing I remember feeling, it had been cold and The Bed was causing my insides to burn all over" the little dragon said and Lilly looked at it with pity.

It was born there she realized and the first thing it felt was pain and cold. The little dragon looked out the window and then started to tap its claws on the wood.

It's tapping caused Lilly to come out of her state of mind about 01's birth into this world and she looked at it curiously as it tapped the table.

"It often got colder and then it was warmer for a while and then colder and warmer, and those must be the seasons that humans talk about. One of the Big Blacks was talking about something called winter on my second moon and the a while later another Big Black was talking about missing something called Summer and Babysitting." 01 looked at the wall and then at Lightning. Who was waking up to hear 01's sad origin.

"I think it's been Seven seasons since I first remember burning inside, and next Cold is gonna be eight." Lilly was stunned, this little dragon has been an experiment for almost eight years and it still seems to be happy?

"What. What did you have to play with?" Lightning asked dreading the answer, and 01 cocked its head curiously.

"Master said something about entertainment" 01 said looking at Lightning, "do you want to know what Master liked for entertainment?" Lightning paled and shook his head, but Lilly spoke up for him.

"No we're asking what you did for entertainment" she said, "what did you like doing?" 01 looked at the table and tapped it once again in thought.

"I liked killing the Nomus in the Arena so that Master couldn't use them against others..." 01 thought once again and Lilly and Lightning frowned at its answer. It liked killing, or did it like fighting. Suddenly 01 shot up and looked around before using its time skill and shooting out the window.

It was across the entirety of the city before the glass shards even got to the halfway point of their descent. It landed in the parking lot and smelled around. Once catching the scent of the bird man that it had fought against, 01 followed its scent still using its time power subconsciously.

It found the bird creature tied up to a chair unconscious with a bunch of masked people standing around it. Frozen as 01 walked past them and cut through the rope and metal holding the bird man to the chair before grabbing their neck with his tail. Careful not to cut the bird man with the blade at the end, and then he shot up and broke through the roof before going back through the broken window. The glass now just halfway past the next floor, and 01 set the bird man on the table and stood next to him. It's tail still wrapped around their neck.

"...And I liked fighting bird man" 01 said as time resumed and everyone looked at the beaten up bird man with cuts and rips in his hero suit, a cracked beak, and many bruises and broken bones. And then they looked at 01 in confusion and surprise.

"What happened to you Falcon?" Lilly asked and Falcon shuddered as 01's tail unwrapped around his neck and the little dragon walked over to where Lilly stood and sat next to her, still on the table.

"I-I" Falcon tried but his eyes rolled upwards and his entire body spawned before his head hit the table. Now unconscious.

"01 can you please heal him" Lilly asked the little dragon as it watched Falcon pass out.

"You can't be serious Lilliana. We don't even know how he turned out like this or where that creature found Falcon in the first place, and now you want it to heal him?!" It was the same woman as last time, her eyes flashing in anger.

"We have no reason not to trust him" Lilly said and nodded at 01 who got up and made his way over to Falcon before pressing his paw against his head and gathering power through it and into Falcon to heal what it could.

"STOP RIGHT NOW!" The woman said and this caused 01 to stop the process and jump away from Falcon and the noise before going straight through the table. Surprising everyone once again.

"Aria let it heal him. It has obviously not caused anyone any harm, other than scaring the hell out of Lightning that is, and look. Falcon already looks better than he had a little while ago" another creature spoke up against Aria. It was a small child like person with sharp metal teeth, elf-like ears, and glowing Emerald eyes. Like 01's but darker.

"But we can't trust it" Aria growled and the little elf like person frowned.

"If I remember correctly you weren't much different in your childhood" it said and Aria growled but stood back, defeated. The elf-like little girl that had the commanding tone and attitude of that like a teacher to a misbehaving student lent down and looked under the table to see 01 looking their way freely.

"Can you please come out and heal Falcon some more?" She asked and 01 looked at her cautiously before realizing that she had defended him and wasn't being mean like the others were. 01 nodded and hopped up, it's body going translucent as it went through the wood and metal of the table before solidifying on the top side of the table and standing there for a moment before walking over to Falcon again and healing him till all of the wounds were gone and his breathing returned to normal.

Suddenly Falcon's bird like eyes opened and he shot up from the chair. Causing 01 to jump back and get into a defensive stance, partially letting out its nullification Power. Falcon looked around before seeing 01 and everyone else staring at him before relaxing and sitting back down.

"Who got me out?" He asked looking around, "I don't remember seeing any of you storm the place that I was brought to so who found me?"

"01 did" Arlington said and Falcon looked at 01 in surprise. It had saved him, how? It didn't know that he was taken as soon as he'd left the Parking lot, and Falcon didn't see him in the area or come in at all other than suddenly being in the chair one second about to be stabbed in the heart, and here in the conference room the next with a muscly green cord wrapped around his neck with a hidden blade at the end of it.

"How did you find me?" Falcon asked the little creature a little suspicious of it now, and it just walked around the table in circles.

"Bird man's heat and smell wasn't effected by environment" 01 said and then tapped the table anxiously, "I saw where bird-man was captured though." This shocked Falcon even more, the people that he'd been captured by were very good at covering their tracks, and even Falcon couldn't smell their scents.

"Do you want me to capture or destroy pain chasers?" 01 said and Falcon looked at the others who were contemplating about what to do. Then one of them stepped forwards and formed a small ball in his hand.

"Here, this is something called a tracker" he said, "if no one is against this. I would like the creature to lead us to the ones that did it"

"How many were there Falcon?" Lilly asked being cautious and Falcon shook his head.

"I only saw four at a time, but there were different people that tried getting info about you all from me, and thankfully I didn't say anything or I may already be dead" Falcon said and 01 bared it's teeth at him. This was an expression that none of them other than Lilly had seen before.

"Don't worry" she said as everyone went defensive, "he's just trying to smile"

"That's a smile?!" A shorter man with a cane and all black eyes said confused

"And why is he smiling?" Alex asked this time and Lilly smiled mischievously

"Why are you smiling 01" she asked even though she already knew what it was going to say and 01's expression didn't change.

"I get to have some more entertainment as Lilly and Master call it anyways" it said, "I like hunting things"

"To...what? Kill or just because?" The cane man argued

"Just because?" 01 asked tilting its head in confusion

"He means do you like killing because it makes you feel good or because it's the right thing to do?" Lilly asked and 01 cocked its head at her question as well.

"What's 'the right thing to do'?" It asked and she smiled sadly

"It means did you do it to help others or because you enjoyed it" she said and 01 though for a second before walking in a circle and biting a section of the table in thought. It was getting hungry again and so it satisfied itself with the wooden surface underneath it that tasted worse than the red meat it had earlier but decent enough to keep eating.

"I like it" it said unable to descend between the two, saving people wasn't really something that it was taught to do. In fact it was the direct opposite of what it was taught to do, so it decided to say it liked both...in its own way.

"What does that mean?" The old man with the cane and demon-like eyes exclaimed.

"I think it means both" Alex said for everyone and rushed over to stop 01 from eating another piece of the long table by placing a piece of red meat from a bag he had gotten just in case from the first floor.

"Both?" 01 asked looking at Alex after devouring the red meat without much warning for Alex before hand.

"It means you like more than one thing or everything given as a choice" Lilly said to it and it cocked its head before jumping up. It's claws and tail-blade digging more holes into the table.

"Both. Both. I like killing because I like it. I like liking to keep others safe. Both!" It exclaimed before jumping at Lilly's side of the table and 'smiling' which just made its statement all the more creepy.

"So what are we gonna do about the people that bird-nabbed me?" Falcon said stubbornly and 01 looked at him and then the window, before looking at Alex, then Arlington, and then Lilly.

"I'm gonna go ask scary people" 01 said before jumping from the table and out of another section of the window before shooting off like a missile. Of which everyone could only watch in shock.

"Oh no" Alex said before looking at Arlington pointedly, and that made Arlington raise a radio from where it was clipped at his side and talking into the radio.

"All teams report if you see a streak in the sky coming your way" he said and a series of replies followed.

"Team one reporting - Negative on given visual"

"Team two Reporting - Negative on visual"

"Team three reporting - there's a small figure heading our way, mid-city Dark area 5. What are our orders?"

"Team three make sure to keep that figure in your sights and follow where it goes, but do not harm the creature. Falcon was captured a short while ago and that creature is heading towards those that attacked him" Arlington said, "make sure to capture any one you can, but don't get spotted by the figure while doing so. It doesn't know friend from foe yet"

"Roger, abandoning current mission to pursue higher priority" the female voice said from the other line, "permission to speak freely sir?"

"Granted" Arlington said and the female voice hummed for a second, seemingly a little surprised.

"What do we do if this figure spots us with capture? And can we have a description on target and package?" She asked and Arlington left the conference room and continued speaking.

"Yes. The target is a small dragon with green scales, and emerald eyes, package unknown but determined to be enemies that had captured Falcon and were probably in the process of questioning him" Arlington said, "as for if he sees you and the criminal. Hiding would probably be the best course of action, and if not, I hope that your barrier powers are as good as your records say Sargent Tremor"

——————<01's POV>———————

I retraced the scent of Bird man, called Falcon back to the dark building and went through the top instead of the side like I had before. They might have seen me come from the direction from last time, so I decided to take a different path.

Master always said that if one thing doesn't work, try another. And that if one thing was already tried, even if it succeeded try another to keep from something called pattern. I never knew what master meant by that but I decided to try it against the Nomus. Sometimes I cut them into tiny pieces, the next time I burned them, the next time I tried taking something important out, that was the messiest and usually ended up with me having to take off their head, but I tried many different ways of killing Nomus. Until I ran out of ways to kill them without going against Master's rule and using an 'ability'?.

Humans were strange creatures. I didn't understand why they liked watching others as they died, or themselves being the ones being injured to points where fighting seemed pointless.

When I finally smelled the ones that took bird man I was halfway through the building and I went through another layer before hitting something squishy and stopping to see what it was.
