Chapter 14

We walked over to a room with a large black door in front of it, and this was the area where the scent of that lady was the strongest. I looked at the giant black door in confusion. Wasn't this one of this giant doors that Master usually trapped me behind? Why was one of those here.

I started to back away from the doors, what are they trying to do? Was all of this a trick to see how I would react after all this time being free? Were they  working with master?! Have they been this entire time?!

I felt something hit the tip of my tail, causing me to stop. I was trapped, they were trying to trick me. The world came back into focus and I saw Arlington reaching towards me, his face looked blank and without the usual gleam that he had. I turned to step and make everything stop so I could escape when I heard a familiar voice.

"Arlington. Stop." It was Lilly! Wait why was Lilly here? Shouldn't she have been waiting for me to come to her? Surely she knew I could smell her to wherever they said they lived at, so why was she here?

Wait. Was she also in on this? She...

"Scythe stop, we aren't here to hurt you" she said going low for some reason, but it didn't look like she was trying to go after me. I couldn't smell anything leading off of her trying to trick me either, so maybe she was safe? Wait she called me something other than 01, what was that again? A name?

"Who's that?" I clawed the ground ready to stop everyone from moving at any bad movement they made. I wasn't aware that my tail was currently tearing large gashed into the steel and walls around us.

"That's the name that Alex came up for you" she said, "don't you remember him saying that he'd give you one?" I have a name? I HAVE A NAME. ALEX GAVE ME A NAME... like he said he would. But how did she know that?

"He called me just after you disappeared for a bit because he thought that it would help you settle down" she said and I felt a little better. Alex helped me and then helped me meet some nice humans. He even helped me make my first friend, Elena, but why did they have master's door?

"Hey. What's bothering you?" Lilly asked and I looked at the door. I didn't like it, and I don't know why Mr. Arlington had it here but I wasn't going inside. I wasn't going to be trapped like that again.

"Why does the door bother you Scythe?" Lilly asked her smell told me that she didn't understand. No one could understand, the pitch darkness with no escape. No light, food, or sound was something that they could never understand.

"Why do you have The Space here?" I didn't want to ask the question, but it just came out. "

"What's 'The Space' Scythe?" Lilly asked the smell of her wanting to understand became slightly thicker.

"Master." I stopped. What if he was listening? Master said that he would always know what I told them, he said that he would always know when I did something I shouldn't.

"Go on 01–Scythe. He is not here and you are never going to be harmed by him again, so please tell us what that is" Arlington spoke this time. I took a glance at him without having 'The Space' doors leave my sight. His eyes seemed like they wanted to know, and master did say that the eyes never lied, so could I tell them?

"Master said." I paused again, and when nothing happened I started to feel a little better. "Master said that when I ask or say something I shouldn't I go in there."

"But that's a normal..." Arlington stopped speaking but I didn't care. Those doors were never leaving my sight.

"Go on" Lilly was angry. Why? Was she angry at me, I could smell it and her eyes and aura blazed with flame, but it didn't seem directed at me. Should I say it?

"If I asked something, even if I couldn't have something because my body didn't seem to like breathing. He put me in there." I would never be able to get it out of my head. "When they closed the door behind me I couldn't see, I couldn't smell or hear anything. There was just darkness.

"Seasons didn't exist. Food and water didn't exist. There was no up or down, and I never was able to tell where the floor was. I was just there with nothing else but me."

"Well that's not here" Lilly growled but then she closed her eyes and breathed for a while and eventually the smell of anger disappeared slowly from her. I looked at her confused. How did she do that? One moment she smells like master did when he did after I accidentally finished off a Nomu too quickly. So how did it just go away.

"Look I will go in there with you just to prove that it is not The Space and there is nothing you need to fear. In fact someone wants to speak to you from what I gathered earlier today" Lilly said and I smelled the air again.

Oh right the lady that killed me with that metal bar earlier was in there, so it couldn't be 'The Space' no one else was allowed in until I was out, and no one went in to stay either.

"Okay" I looked at Lilly and she smiled at me, but I wasn't happy, so I didn't smile back.

———————<3rd POV>———————

Who would do that to such an innocent creature, wait no he has probably killed more than me and Gray combined. Lilly was furious, she wanted no less than to find this All for One and rip him apart just to prove to Scythe that he was no longer going to be able to harm him.

But that doesn't mean that he isn't innocent Lilly looked at the little dragon at her side, he's never experienced enough of the outside world or know right from wrong, so he, in my eyes, is as innocent as someone that hasn't killed before. Even though he's been killed many many times over in his short life, he's never lost that curiosity for all things and while that in itself can be very scary. It's also why I opted to take care of him.

Lilly, Scythe, and Arlington all entered the room with Gomorrah in it. She was still tied to the desk and while Lilly could see that the cuffs were no longer attached to her or the table. She hadn't attacked or escaped yet. So she was waiting for Scythe, but why?

"Wow I didn't think that you would manage to actually bring that creature here for me" Gomorrah hissed. She was planning something, something that Lilly knew she wouldn't like.

"Oh it's the female that says I killed her 'husband'?" Scythe blandly said and both Arlington and Lilly saw that Gomorrah didn't like how he was talking about their experience, and her eye twitched in response.

"Now Strongarm, could you leave me and the little dragon alone for five minutes. That is all I wanted to talk to it for in exchange for my side of the deal." The lady 'tied' to the table said purposefully raising her hands in a way that made it look like her cuffs were still attached to her.

Arlington growled something under his breath and made his way to the door. Lilly looked at him curiously. Since when did this guy listen to a dirty criminal that murdered people because she wanted to?

Scythe looked at Lilly confused, and Arlington glanced at her. Telling Lilly everything she needed to know, this person was holding something over Arlington that was causing him to act this way, but what.

Eventually Lilly left the room, but her voice caught Scythe's enhanced hearing, "be careful little Scythe. She is planning something bad"

Scythe tilted his head at Gomorrah and she took that as him not knowing what was going on, but the lashing of his tail and the deep gouge in the wall told Lilly that he was going to be fine.

"Finally alone in here" she said letting her hands come free of the restraints once and for all. "I am glad to be out of those, they sucked to be connected to, and it was even worse to pretend they were actually still connected."

"You probably don't know what's going on do you little one?" She asked and Scythe tilted his head in the other direction as he continued to watch her without caution or fear and while that pissed Gomorrah off she knew that this thing severely outmatched her. She needed to think of a way to get back at this creature without revealing her intentions.

Sadly for her Scythe already knew what she was thinking based on her actions, but he wasn't worried because she wasn't going to be able to do anything to it. No matter how hard she tried.

"Now I've instructed the big one to stay outside of the door and I sure hope that no ones in here or those files are going out so quickly you won't be able to do anything about it" she tapped the window as if expecting something to respond from it.

"Oh well. I guess I'll have to trust a hero's word about not going back on their word." She chuckled and a thin blade of metal started to form at the back of Scythe's wall, an area she knew Scythe couldn't possibly pay attention to when his attention was on her constantly, and she planned to keep it on her until she carried out her plan and escaped.

"Okay how about we play a little game" she said and Scythe tilted its head again, now actually curious.

"What's a game?" It asked and she chuckled darkly.

"It's something people play for fun when they are bored or want to have fun" she said and Scythe's attention was now strictly attached to her...just like she wanted.

"Okay so here's how it's going to go. I will ask you a question and if you get it right then I'll have to do something equally as bad as if I asked you a question and got it wrong. The punishment for getting it wrong doubles for the person answering the question. The winner is the person to get three questions wrong." Gomorrah said forming a knife out of the interrogation table's metal.

"Okay I wanna go first" it said and the lady smiled. Could this thing be any stupider than it seemed.

"Okay what is my name?" Gomorrah asked and Scythe smiled creepily and answered immediately.

"It's Gomorrah. The paper with your face on it says so" he said and Gomorrah smiled.

"Wrong. I actually don't have a name, you see I was born in a research lab designed to create clones of people. I am based off of a clone from a movie called 'Guardians of the Galaxy', but seeing as I was a failure in both appearance and skill they tried to kill me" she said and Scythe pouted but listened anyways. "Now I want you to cut your arm with all five claws, and where I can see it."

"Okay" Scythe complied with no reluctance or hesitation, it's hopped onto the table and cut halfway into its left forearm with its right front claws and said it's question.

"How old do you think I am? The humans say it differently than I do so I'll be nice, as Master says anyways" it said and Gomorrah thought for a second. She couldn't mess this one up and she didn't think it was that old based on how it acted.

"I would say in between five and eight years" she said looking at the creature for any reaction and it seemed to think about it for a second before nodding.

"Yep I am going to be eight seasons old next Winter" it said and Gomorrah smiled evilly as she prepared her next question.

Hehehehehehe
So I don't do this often but I am apparently in a writing mood again and I want to get this book more views. Which means more chapters, so how did you think it went?

I probably won't do this often don't worry, and the chapter is split up because I have the best of this for next chapter and hopefully I can get this book to 20 or above chapter by the middle of next month.

Anyways thanks for reading and I'll see y'all soon.
