This chapter contains the summary of the Grand Opening that was held on the Main Crib on the 6th of July, 2024:

So, Pearl started a buzz on the main crib and surprised everybody with her date, Burna boy 🤭. He attended the whole Grand opening and you no show up? Well done o!

Pearl opened the group at 7pm sharp where the first three Cribbers to be there were awarded spots on the Golden Table and made admins for the night after which all members of the Backstage crew were appreciated.

Then, there was a few minutes of silence as a candle night was done by lovetori_xo in remembrance of Donald. May his Soul rest in Perfect Peace, after which the Opening speech was done by lovetori_xo and her husband Yuta also showed up surprising us. They were just doing lovey lovey everywhere oppressing us singles 😒, Tch!

Moving on, The Pen Mistress of Project Pen 2023, Igwe Maryann Chidalu May__hem was invited to advice the new contestant.

Our Red carpet was next after this and these cribbers decided to show us 🔥. Dress code was black and gold and some people came fashionably late 😒.

The contestant were revealed in batches, their meet and Greet info were revealed. During this event, their pen name, serial number of the contestants, why they should be the last man standing, one random fact about themselves, what energy they are bringing into the PPN House and the name of their fan base were revealed.

Also, some contestants were able to hustle some Cribbers' support as the audience were already picking and claiming a spot in their Fanbase. It was difficult for the audience to pick a fave as so many contestants came with the vibes. However, Contestants like Man of Steeze and The Wordsmith seemed to gather the most traffic.The Pen Reaper also grasped a solid fanbase as well. And others like The Rising Sun, Lily Bird, Teza Azet, Summer Writer, Licorice and Dokja Kimmy also gathered some praise. And while some loved Wendy Black’s pen name as he/she sounded like they were from a secret agent organization, others cracked up at the fact that Billie wanted her fanbase to be called the eyelashes. These are just to mention a few, all the contestants of Project Pen this year were described to be on a different level. In Tori's words, “Na werey werey full that Project Pen House.”

The Award for best dressed was won by Eniola who also won a spot on the Golden Table.

After this, Wendy opurum Ada_xoxo_ gave a touching speech about the contestants this year in the competition and swearing in was done by Ifeoluwa.

The closing speech was done by Tehila.

Bonus: Olive and Toyosi rated the dresses of everyone who came for the Red Carpet show, including the late comers. And it was nothing short of spicy! It was all fun and cruise from all angles and corners, I'd hate to have missed this night!
