"Gee Adrien, are you sure about this?"

A girl asked. She is shorter than him, she has a pair of pretty bluebell eyes, a jet black hair, fair skin, and pink natural tinted lips.

"Yes, Mari i'm sure" Adrien replied, while browsing his desk looking for something. "I don't know..combining two DNA's, it's just like Spiderman or somehing" Marinette fiddled her fingers in doubt.

"Look, i just wish there's a machine that can combine a human DNA with an animal DNA. It's like you combined with..." He thought for a moment, and decided to choose her favorite animal. "Ladybugs! You would still look, sound, and act the same but you can have its wings, antena, or spots!" He exclaimed, his eyes were filled in excitement.

"Well...i suppose trying wouldn't be bad" Marinette sighed in defeat, she knew it's impossible to persuade her best friend. "Yes! Thank you, Mari!" Adrien smiled, hugging his best friend.

For five years straight, Marinette and Adrien's been working on that machine non stop except when they had school; They have to stop there y'know. Now, they're in Eleventh grade.

"Girl!" Alya, Marinette's girl best friend runs towards her. "S..sch-school..." She panted. "Woah woah, slow down there Alya. What's wrong?" Marinette asked. "Sc-Science fair next week!" Alya shouts in both tiredness and excitement.

"Wait...what?!" Marinette shook. "I know right?! This is your chance to present" Alya looked around and whispered to her. "Your invention" She grinned. "I got to tell Adrien, he's the brains in this project, he'll be delighted! Thank you, Alya i'll catch up wih you later!" Marinette runs towards the other side of the hallway leaving Alya with his boyfriend; Nino next to her.

"Damn" Nino chuckled at his girlfriend's best friends attidude.

Marinette looks around while running to find Adrien. Then she thought for a moment and think where could Adrien posibbly be.

Then, she saw him standing on his locker. "Adrien!" Marinette shouts and run towards him, just like Alya did a while ago. "Mari! What's up?" He asked, smiling. "There's a science fair next week on our school!" Marinette giggles. "That's great! Do you have any classes?" He asked once more.

"No, you?" Marinette asked back. "No and great, we can head out to my garage so we can work on our invention" Adrien claps his hands in joy. "Well then, let's go!" Marinette smiles and grabs his hand, leading them to his house.

They arrive shortly to his garage. Adrien opened the door and revealed a garage filled with materials and computers.

Oh and of course Marinette included two green and red bean bags and her favorite decorative lights hanging on the wall.

"Lets get to it" Adrien grinned and crack his knuckles. They both started working and sometimes take a break once in a while.

Days passed and they both are still working. Alya and Nino would visit sometimes and they would drink coffee and chill out together.

"Adrien, i think its ready" Marinette smiles to him. "Yeah, it definitely is" They both stared at it in awe and fist bumped.

Finally, the day has finally come. The science fair, the day where they both can be famous. Outside the school, there they are; Marinette and Adrien standing. Adrien is carrying a backpack, while Marinette is carrying a smaller one.

They both entered the building and look for their stand. They put their invention down at the table and prepares the other things before the judges can review their work.

"Explain your work" Ms. Mendeliev said, standing next to Principal Damocles and Ms. Bustier.

With antusiasm, Adrien lights up in joy. "This is an invention me and Marinette has been working on for the past five years. This invention alows you to combine your DNA with any animal with a type of your choice" Adrien explained.

"Alright, does it work though?" Ms. Bustier smiled. "Of course, that is why i am going to test it, and of course this machine can also reverts its process so the mess that's created can be cleaned up in a single button" He explain once more.

Adrien puts a hat with tubes and pipes connected to the machine. He then, adjust the type of animal he wants and makes it into a cat.

"Marinette, will you please" Adrien warmly smiled to her. With full doubt she pushed the button and hope that it will work out well.

But she was wrong the invention started to go boom and blast, as a thick smoke filled the room. There were also lights and flashing that causes everyone to duck down and cover their eyes in fear.

"BOOM!!!" The machine was blown up. The smoke was also gone and you know what's worse Adrien Agreste is gone and missing. Leaving a torned up lab coat and a scratch mark on the floor.
