"...3,2,1! MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Sabay sabay naming sabi ng tumuntong na ang mahabang kamay ng orasan sa ikalabing dalawang numero nito.

Nandito kami sa apartment ni Tita Martha. We decided to celebrate just a simple Christmas celebration na kami lang din apat. Jamie said that we also need a break to solve case and relax and lastly for her to bond with each and everyone or kay Loki lang.

"Merry Christmas Lorelei." Alistair greeted and genuine smiled at me.

"Merry Christmas too Ali." I greeted back and hug him.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS LOKIII!" Narinig ko na naman ang impit na tili ni Jamie.

As usual, kumakapit na naman siya kay Loki like some sort of a koala hugging the branch of a tree.

"Merry Christmas." And that's what only Loki said. As usual.

Lumapit ako sakanila for me to greet them.

"Merry Christmas!" I smile at them.

Tumingin sakin si Jamie and glared at me.

Mas lalo niyang niyakap ang kanang braso ni Loki na para bang susulutin o aagawin ko sakanya si Loki. Well, Jamie never change, she always follow and stick to Loki everywhere and kulang na lang pati sa CR. I guess gusto niya talaga si Loki and Loki's just really dense when it comes to feelings so he doesn't realize what Jamie really feel for him.

"Merry Christmas Lorelei." Loki said in a monotone voice.

I turn to Jamie who is giving me a dagger looks.

"Merry Christmas Jamie." I smiled at her.

"Merry Christmas." Jamie said in exasperate tone and still, giving me a dagger look. Kung nakakamatay ang tingin well, I guess hindi pa ako makakaabot ng pasko.

"Shall we eat the food now? I'm starving but we need to wait until 12 o'clock so I need to drink my saliva and endure this." Alistair said.

We all laugh because of that.

Nag-uusap kami ng aming mga plano with our families for Christmas vacation. Like going to the beach, out of town or even country. Natigil sandali ang pag-uusap namin dahil biglang tumunog ang phone ni Jamie.

"Excuse me." Jamie said at pumunta sa medyo isolated na lugar.

Patuloy lang kami na nag-uusap tungkol sa mga plano nang biglang tumili si Jamie.

Sabay sabay kaming tumayo tatlo at nilapitan siya. She is still holding her phone and her face look shock because of something that she heard.

"OMYGOD!" Jamie exclaimed.

"What happened?" Tanong ni Loki sakanya.

Tumingin siya kay Loki at sumilay ang ngiti sakanyang labi. She really looks happy.

"Someone invited me to a party right now! I mean an exclusive private party!" Sabi ni Jamie sabay tili.

"But we already have a party here." Al said and put his arms across his chest.

"Alistair's right." Sabi ni Loki at tumango at aambang aalis na.

"But this is Rachel Dominguez we are talking about! Do you know her? That beautiful actress and also a singer. Kinuha siya ng sikat na theatre sa ibang bansa because of her great voice! She invited us because she is a fan of our club!" Jamie explained. She's almost pleading.

"Paano nakaabot sakanya? I mean we're here at some sort of province and makakaabot bigla sakanya?" I asked her.

Tumingin siya sakin at umangat ang kanyang kanang kilay.

"She's a fan of your blog Lorelei. Stupid." She rolled her eyes at me at tumingin ulit kay Ali at Loki na nakaharap na.

"We should go to that party then, after all she's our fan. She would feel bad if we declined her offer. She have a big name in singing, acting or even theatre. Pwede natin itong gawin para mas ma-exposed pa tayo. " Al said.

"I know right? Let's go!" Exhilarate na sabi ni Jamie.

Sumunod ako sakanilang dalawa ni Al na nauuna sa paglalaakd palabas ng apartment.

"Do we really need to attend that party?" Tamad na sabi ni Loki.

Nilingon ko naman siya. His right hand is inside his pocket.

"Of course we need to. Narinig mo naman ang sinabi ni Al diba? It's also an exposure for us so let's go." Sagot ko sakanya.

"We already have an exposure. She already read your blog about the cases that we are able to solve. It only proves that many people are reading your blog Lorelei. Your blog is enough." Sabi niya sa isang nababagot na tono.

Sasagot pa sana ako ng tawagin na kami ni Jamie.

"Lorelei and Loki! Get in to Ali's car let's go now!" Sigaw ni Jamie sa labas.

"She seems very excited." Loki said. Mahina lang ang kanyang boses ng sinabi niya iyon but it's enough for me to hear that.

Hinila niya na ang kamay ko at sumakay na kami sa kotse ni Al.

When we got in, Al started the engine and begin to drive. Nilingon kami ni Jamie. She's at the front seat right now and she's giving me that dagger looks again.

"Ba't kayo magka holding hands ni Loki papunta dito?" Jamie raise her left brow.

"We did not hold hands Jamie. Hinila niya lang ako papunta dito." I told her.

Umirap lamang siya.

"Well, whatever. "

Habang nasa byahe kami panay ang kwento ni Jamie sa mga achievements ni Rachel Dominguez. She told us kung gaano kaganda ang boses ni Rachel and how beautiful she is. Sabi niya na maraming humahanga sa kanyang talento.

Nang dumating kami sa binigay na address ay agad na bumaba si Jamie. In fact, she already open the car's door even though Ali did not push his foot in the engine's break.

"OMYGOD! We are really going to Rachel Dominguez's private party! I can't believe this!" She exclaimed.

Pumunta kami sa Receptionist and she show us the way to Rachel's room.

Nang bumukas ang pinto ay binuksan ito ng isang lalaki. I'm guessing his on early 30's. He's handsome, tall and also fair skinned. He smiled to us.

"Hello you must be the—" He stop in the middle of his sentence.

"Blake Sarmiento! OMYGOD! I'm your fan! I already watched all of your detective movies and I also bought your new album ang posters!" Jamie exclaimed.

Nagulat naman si Blake Sarmiento at napatawa sa inasta ni Jamie na tila'y sanay na sanay na siya sa mga ganitong bagay.

"A Detective character huh? He must be good at deceiving people by deciphering those fake codes and easy as pie cases. I think Conan is more smarter than him .I wonder how they did the auto tune in his album eh?" Loki murmured.

I just give him a deadly glare. He must behave properly because these people are influential and superstars.

"Don't flatter me young lady. I'm guessing you're the QED Club?" He asked.

"Obviously. We will not attend—"

"Yes we are." I smiled at him. I stop Loki in his sentence. Honestly speaking, Loki never change. He is still that arrogant and cold guy that I knew.

"My fiancée is really a fan of your club. She want to go to your school but her schedule contradicts with it so she decided to invite you here. Shall we?" He explained and open the door wider.

When we got in, a big shining chandelier welcome us. I look around the room and I saw a big flat screen TV in the Salas. As I walk around, I went to the veranda. You can see how beautiful this City is. The city lights are shining like some sort of little stars. I even saw a swimming pool for kids and adults. I even saw a Jacuzzi!

Bumalik na ako sa loob at hinanap sina Jamie na kausap ang naka vintage dress na babae. Her fair skin shows that she is not fond of playing under the sun. Her dress is very simple yet very elegant.

Nang lumapit ako sakanila ay tumingin silang lahat saakin. Lumaki ang mata ng babaeng naka vintage dress.

"You must be Lorelei right? I am really a fan of your club. Rachel Dominguez. Pleased to meet you." She offer me her hand.

Jamie's right. She really is beautiful and.... Very formal.

"Lorelei Rios. My pleasure to meet you." I accepted her hand.

Totoo ngang nagbabasa siya ng blog ko. She rewinded all the past cases that we solved. Kahit noong kami palang ni Loki ang member ng club.

"So... Miss Rachel totoo bang fiancée mo si Blake Sarmiento?" Jamie asked her like some sort of reporter.

Natawa naman silang dalawa at inakbayan ni Blake si Rachel.

"Yes." Blake smiled.

Tili ni Jamie ang bumalot sa buong room. Hindi pa dumadating ang ibang bisita at tanging si Rachel, Blake, Rachel's manager and kaming apat lamang ang nandito.

"Disgusting." Loki mumbled secretly.

Natawa naman si Ali.

"You're just jealous because you have no experience in that things." Ali flash a smirk at him.

"I don't need that. Only stupid people believe in that.... Sort of things. Love is just a chemical reaction in our brain." Loki said.

The conversation continue ng may kumatok sa pintuan.

"Sila na ata yan." Rachel said at tumayo.

Nang binuksan niya ang pintuan ay may nakita kaming tatlong babae. I know them. Nakita ko sila sa mga commercials.

"THE TRIO!" Sigaw ni Jamie at pumunta sa pinto. Binati niya ang mga ito.

"Who are they?" Al asked.

"The one who is wearing a baby pink hugging dress is Samantha Buenavista. That one who wears dark blue off shoulder dress is Isabelle Marfori, she's the foreign one. And the one who is wearing a green tube dress is Saecy Chua." I explained.

"Why do you know them? You're a fan?" Loki asked.

"Because of commercials and no I'm not a fan." I give him my bored look.

"Grupo sila?" Ali asked.

"Yes. A girl group."

"Uh-huh. And they're concept is powerpuff girls huh?" Loki said as a-matter-of-fact tone.

Pinakilala kami ni Rachel. Sabi niya kami lang daw ang inimbitahan niya kasi ayaw niya daw ng maraming tao. She's easily intimidated.

"You're all pretty. Omygosh! Is this a dream?!" Jamie exclaimed.

Napatawa naman ang tatlo. Jamie is very hyper and her excitement is beyond to it's climax.

"Fake nails and nail art again Isabelle?" Blake asked her. His one brow raise as if challenging her.

Binalewala naman ito ni Isabelle at tiningnan ang kanyang kuko.

"Of course. Hindi yan mawawala." Isabelle flash a sarcastic smile at him.

When the party started lahat ay nagkantahan, kumain at nagsayawan sa indak ng musika. Unti-unti ring napagod ang iba kaya nagpasyang magpanhinga muna sila at umupo sa sofa.

"I'm tired. Gusto ko ng matulog. I want to take a rest." Sabi ni Rachel at sinandal ang kanyang ulo sa sofa.

Even me. Kahit ang ginawa ko lang ay ang magsalita ng magsalita ay napagod rin.

"You need to take a bath first." Saecy said at umalis para kunin ang mga gamit.

"Yes. I need to." Sagot ni Rachel at tumayo na at dumiretso sa bathroom.

"Ako ang sunod kay Rachel." Isabelle said at umalis na rin para makapag-prepare daw ng mga damit.

Nagligpit na kaming lahat but Jamie seems so tired so we decided to stay here for a night. Nagligpit na rin ng mga gamit ang manager ni Rachel. I remember his name when Samantha called her. He's Renzo from what I have remember.

Bumalik na ang lahat sa salas maliban kay Rachel dahil nasa bathroom pa siya. Nag usap usap na naman kaming lahat. Humingi si Jamie ng autograph sa kanilang lahat.

Kumuha siya ng isang maliit at matigas na board na maaaring sulatan. Unang pumirma si Saecy pagkatapos si Samantha. Kinuha ni Isabelle ang board at pinirmahan.

"And... Let's seal it with a kiss." She winked at us pagkatapos niyang lagyan ng kiss mark ang board.

As the conversation continues. Renzo interrupted us.

"H-Hindi pa lumalabas si Rachel sa bathroom. Mag-iisang oras at kalahati na ang nakalipas." I saw horror in his eyes habang sinasabi niya ang mga katagang iyon.

"Baka nakatulog lang?" Saecy said. At kampanteng nakaupo sa sofa.

"Why don't you check on her Blake? Since you're the fiancée." Loki said and put his arms across his chest.

Nanlaki naman ang mata ni Blake.

"A-Ah.. Yeah. I'll call h-her." My brows furrowed. Why is he stuttering?

Tumayo si Blake para pumunta ng bathroom. Tumayo ako at sumunod sakanya para makita. Loki and Al followed him to.

Kinatok ni Blake ang pintuan ng bathroom.

"Rachel? Rachel si Blake to."

Walang sumagot. Kasama din namin ang manager ni Rachel, Isabelle, at Saecy. Naiwan sa salas sina Jamie at Samantha.

"Rachel papasok na ako." Blake asked permission to her pero wala pa ring sumagot.

When I look at Loki, napansin kong bahagyang nakakunot ang kanyang noo habang tinitingnan si Blake.

Pinihit ni Blake ang door knob. Ang surprisingly hindi ito naka lock.

Pumasok siya sa loob ng bathroom. Hindi nagtagal ng ilang Segundo ay may narinig kaming bumagsak. Agad na pumasok si Loki at nauna na. Sumunod ako para tignan kung ano yun.

Nanlaki ang aking mata sa nakita.

"OMYGOD! KYAAAAAAAAAH" Tili ni Isabelle ang bumalot sa buong room. Hindi dahil sa saya o sa kasabikan. Pero dahil sa gulat at takot.

My body froze because of what I saw.

Si Rachel Dominguez ay naliligo sa sarili niyang mga dugo sa bathtub. Ang kaninang malinaw na tubig ay napalitan ng pulang dugo at makikita ang hiwa sa gitna ng kanyang leeg at bukas na bukas ang kanyang sugat.

Nakita kong tumayo si Blake at kinuha ang towel na nakasabit. Ilalagay niya sana ito sa katawan ni Rachel ngunit naunahan siya ni Renzo. Kinuha niya ang katawan ni Rachel at mahigpit na niyakap.

"R-RACHEL! GISING!" Sigaw ni Renzo at inuyog ang katawan ni Rachel na tila'y umaasa na magigsing pa ito.

Nakita kong lumapit si Al sakanila at hinawakan niya ang pulsuhan ni Rachel.

"She's dead." Al said. Sympathy is evident on his face.

Pumikit ng mariin si Renzo at umiyak habang yakap yakap ang katawan ni Rachel.

May she Rest in Peace.

I saw how Blake drop his jaw. Tila hindi makapaniwala sa nangyari. Umiiyak si Samantha at Isabelle while Saecy, is still showing her straight face like nothing happened.

Kumunot naman ang noo ko dahil tila hindi siya naapektuhan katulad ng iba.

"Rest in Peace." Saecy whispered pero nairinig ko parin iyon.

Is she the suspect?

"Anong nangyari dito—MISS RACHEL?!" Lumapit si Jamie sa kinaroroonan ng bangkay ni Rachel Dominguez.

Ang dalawang kamay niya ay nasa kanyang bunganga habang pinagmamasdan ang bangkay nito tila hindi makapaniwala sa nangyari.

"I-Is she d-dead?" Tanong ni Jamie habang nanlalaki ang kanyang mata.

"Yes. And I'm guessing she's dead about 30 minutes ago." Loki said at tumayo na.

"W-What? No! Kakakilala ko pa lang sakanya! Why is she dead? Who killed her?" Jamie said and after that all I heard is sobbed across the room.

Tinignan ni Loki ang manager ni Rachel which is Renzo.

"Leave her body alone now. Sinisira mo ang mga ebidensya na pwedeng makapagtuturo sa suspect." Loki said.

Binalik ni Renzo ang katawan ni Rachel sa dati nitong pwesto.

"Look, I just realize something." Al said. Nasa labas na siya ng bathroom at nakatingin sa baba.

"What is it?" Pumunta si Loki sa labas.

Tumingin ako sakanila na nasa labas.

"The murder weapon.... is missing." Al said at tumingin sa direksyon namin.

"And there are traces of blood in the entrance of the bathroom." He continued.

"Maybe the murder weapon is something that can be easily hidden. Like pocket knife." Singit ko.

"Maybe. Lorelei, call the police now." Lokie said habang nakatingin parin sa ibaba at tinitingnan ang mga patak ng dugo.

~LOKI~

When the police arrived, they inspect the dead body of Rachel. They roam around the room to find some evidences and to find the murder weapon.

I found out that the inspector in charge to this operation is a dearly friend of my father, Inspector Megure. He allowed me to join this case because he thinks I can make some help to this operation.

"Did you already find the murder weapon?" I asked Inspector Megure.

"Unfortunately, we can't find it. It's nowhere to be found. We already checked the things of the people around here that can be a possible suspect pero wala. We even try luminol to check their things." Inspector explained.

Something is not right. Sigurado akong andito lang ang murder weapon dahil walang maaring mapaglalagyan o mapagtataguan dito. It is also impossible for him or her to throw it somewhere dahil mahahanap lang ito. The killer here is very clean.

Kung tinago ito ng suspect sakanyang gamit ay maaring nakita na ito kanina pa.

Something is not really right here.

"I can't believe this! Sinong pumatay sakanya? She is a good person! Why kill her?" I heard Jamie said and cry after her statement.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover Miss. You don't know her really well." That's Sassy? Sissy?

"What do you mean?" Jamie asked. Curiosity is evident on her face.

Huminga ng malalim si Sissy.

"Rachel, Samantha, Isabelle and me are already friends since high school. Lahat kami ay pinangarap na maging singer kaya nangako kami sa isa't isa na sabay kaming kakanta at sasayaw sa harap ng ibang tao bilang isang grupo. We are supposed to have 4 members! But she told us that she wants to achieve her dream alone!" Sassy said.

"Saecy! Stop it!" Pumunta si Isabella sakanya para pakalmahin.

She was supposed to touch her shoulder but Sissy look at her as if telling her not to stop her from saying all the secrets that are supposed to be only four of them know.

"We are devastated that time! Natupad niya ang kanyang mga pangarap na siya lang! Hindi niya kami inisip! What kind of friend is that? Natupad namin ang aming pangarap na maging singer kahit tatlo lang kami! We forgave her! Kahit na masyado siyang naging makasarili! She doesn't feel what others feel! And the most selfish thing that she has done is—" Sissy stopped when someone interrupted her.

"SAECY STOP IT! STOP IT!" Samantha shouted.

"—Inagaw niya si Blake Sarmiento kay Isabelle! Alam niya na gusto ni Isabelle si Blake noon pa man pero nalaman na lang namin! Ni Isabelle na engaged na silang dalawa! She is so selfish that I can't look her in the eye because I'm afraid that I might spill some words that might hurt her feelings. Well sino ba naman ako para sabihin ang mga salitang iyon but still, Isabelle shut her mouth and act like nothing happen! Guess what? Ganoon din ang ginawa niya! She act like nothing happen at parang wala siyang ginawang masama! Iniisip niya lang kanyang sarili!" Sassy continued.

Nakita kong bumuhos ang mga luha na hindi niya inaasahan.

"S-She really did that?" Jamie asked.

Tiningnan ko si Isabella na nakayuko at umiiyak na rin.

Tiningnan ko naman si Blake Sarmiento na kanina pa tulala sa sahig.

"Isabelle is it true?" Jamie asked her.

She only flash a smile.

"I'll just go to the kitchen to get some water and also call my dad to remind his medication for his High Blood." Isabella said and went to the kitchen.

I roam around the room to check if there are evidences that can point out who the killer is.

Pumunta ako ng Master's bedroom. Binuksan ko ang mga drawer. Habang binubuksan ko ito, I saw a picture who has a familiar faces in it.

It is Renz? Rez? Renzo? Renzo and Rachel. Nakaakbay ang mga braso ni Renzo sa balikat ni Rachel while Rachel's doing a peace sign. Naka scarf silang dalawa at nasa napapligiran ng snow.

It seems that they are very close to each other huh?

Lumabas ako ng room at nakita ko si Al na tinitingnan ang bawat tao sa room.

"Checking who's doing something strange or weird eh?" I told him.

"Uh-huh. Saecy has a motive to kill her but I can't prove it because I don't have any evidences. While that Blake Sarmiento seems so bothered and then the Manager named Renzo is quite silent ever since the investigation has started. The other two Samantha and Isabelle is very emotional. I don't know but maybe their emotional faces is deceiving us from the start." Ali said.

Umupo ako sa sofa at sumunod din si Al. Nakita ko ang pinapirmahan ni Jamie. Samantha, Isabelle, Saecy, Blake's signature—.

Then it hit me. Well, so you're the killer huh?

Hindi ko alam o nakikita ang mukha ko but I can tell that I am smirking.

"I know you're weird pero di ko alam na nakakatakot ito makita sa personal." Al commented.

I look at him with a smug smile.

"This weirdo already knows who the killer is." Sabi ko sakanya.

Nakitaan ko ng gulat ang kanyang mukha.

"You already know who the killer is? How? What about the murder weapon?" Singit ni Lorelei.

"Lorelei's right. Do you have any evidences?" Al asked me.

I only shrugged my shoulders and went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water.

I saw Isabelle in front of the sink. Kumuha ako ng baso sa gilid niya at pumunta sa harap ng refrigerator.

"You're a very clean person huh? Like some sort of a Neat-freak. It's really amazing how you killed her." I told her.

Lumingon siya sa direksyon ko. I face her and gave her bored look. Shock is evident on her face.

"What do you mean?" Pinagpapawisan siya at nanginginig.

"Why did you kill her anyway?" I asked her.

She gave me a sarcastic smile and she laughed like some sort of a witch.

"Kung pinatay ko nga siya, do you have any proof? By the way, nakita niyo a ba ang murder weapon? Wala pa diba? And you will never find it." She said at tumawa ulit.

I gave her smirk.

"Well, one of the most hardest part of a human body is the nails right?" I told her.

Nakita kong nanlaki ang kanyang mata.

"S-So? What are you trying to say now Mr. Detective?" She stil have her poise huh?

"The murder weapon is your nail right? Your thumb's nail. Alam mong iche-check nila ang inyong mga kamay if there is a blood so you cutted it."

"Kung ito nga talaga ang ginamit ko para patayin siya bakit hindi ito nalaman ng mga pulis? The police checked our things at ginamitan rin ng luminol pero bakit wala silang nakita kahit ni isang bakas ng dugo ni Rachel sa gamit ko? I don't even have a nail cutter." She said na para bang nanalo siya sa isang contest.

I look at her in the eye. I smiled sarcastically.

"Well, the hardest part of a human body is the teeth. Pinutol mo ang iyong kuko gamit ang iyong ngipin at nilagyan ulit ng mga fake nails, and from the very start hindi pekeng kuko ang gamit mo but the real one."

Nakita kong nanginig siya dahil saaking sinabi. She's breathing rapidly.

"You... Y-You have no evidence!" Sabi niya ng nakapikit while both of her hands are on the sink trying to stay still.

Kinuha ko ang maliit na board na pinirmahan nila. Tinuro ko ang kiss mark kung saan siya ang may gawa.

"Your kiss mark here says it all. May bahid ng dugo ang mark na ginawa mo. The blood here is Rachel's isn't it? Habang pinuputol mo ang iyong kuko gamit ang iyong ngipin ay dumikt ito sa lip stick mo." I explained to her.

She smiled. A sad smile.

"Kinuha niya ang lahat saakin but still, I forgave her. Pinatawad ko siya noong iniwan niya kami sa ere at pinursue ang career niya mag-isa. I even told her that I like Blake from the start pero nalaman ko na lang na engaged na sila." She said. Nilagay niya ang kanyang kamay malapit sakanyang dib dib at hinawakan ito habang humihinga ng malalim.

Kumunot ang noo ko dahil dito. Nahihirapan siyang huminga.

"A-Ako dapat ang nakakuha ng invitation galing sa ibang bansa parra mag perform pero n-nalaman ko kinuha niya ito by connections."

Napaluhod siya sa sahig habang ang kanyang kamay ay nasa kanyang dib dib parin.

I went to her at hinawakan ang kanyang pulsuhan. Her pulse is abnormal.

"M-Mukhang magkikita na rim kami ni Rachel." She smiled.

I look around the kitchen and I saw a container.

'Angiotensin Converting Enzyme'

My eyes widened. Uminom siya ng gamot para sa high blood.

And if a normal person took that drug, their blood sugar would drop drastically!

"S-Sorry." She cried.

Tuluyan na siyang bumagsak sa sahig. When I already check her pulse, wala na akong naramdaman.

Agad na pumasok ssi Al at Lorelei kasama si Inspector Megure. I look at them and then I shook my head as a sign that she's dead.

Rest In Peace. The power Puff Girls are incomplete now.

I explained how she did it to Inspector Megure and to all. Lahat sila ay nagulat dahil sa sinabi ko.

"And lastly, hindi talaga enganged si Rachel at Zake diba?" I asked them.

"It's Blake Loki." Lorelei said.

Nakita kong nagulat si Blake sa sinabi ko.

"First, sino ba naman ang fiancée na magpapa alam na papasok siya sa CR when it is urgent. At wala kayong singsing." I told him.

"And she has a relationship with you Renzo right?" I faced him.

"W-What? Paano?" Tanong ni Samantha

"O-Oo. Ginawa lang nila iyon dahil sa publicity and she hwants to help Blake na maging close kay Isabelle." Renzo explained.

Is this some sort of a Romeo and Juliet?

While Al's driving, Jamie keeps on saying that she can't believe what happen there.
