Alex and Xisuma ran. The London Sanctum was down. They'd been stuck in New York for a day. They'd watched someone die. The Ancient One was gone. Neither of them knew what to do. They just knew that they were both scared out of their minds.

Bdubs ran. He didn't have any real proof that what he'd seen was actually reality, but he had a sinking feeling that it was. He didn't want to be anywhere near people who did things like... like that.

Iskall ran. They couldn't handle it anymore. Their mom was off on a work trip, and they were stuck with their dad, who wasn't doing great mentally and took it out on Iskall. They were sure they didn't deserve this. Right?

Ren ran. He couldn't believe it: he was finally free. After months of torture, him and everyone else who'd been kidnapped by HYDRA were out. Thanks to the Creeper and the Cyclone, of all people. But, then again, it almost made sense that it was them. Question was: what was he gonna do now?

Mumbo ran. It felt like a bad idea, but he was not in the right mental space to think this through. He just wanted out. He didn't want this hobby of his to be turned into a burden. He knew his parents probably meant the best, but they'd gone way too far. He knew he couldn't take this anymore.

Doc ran. After so many years, he could get out of that horrid place, and he prayed- no, promised that he'd never come back. For once, fresh air meant freedom, not losing control of his own mind and waking up with blood on his hands. He was... He was free.

Grian ran. He held the small girl his best friend, his adoptive brother, had died for. The truth quickly settled in. Whoever HYDRA was, they'd tried to kidnap a little girl and had taken his closest friend's life. Once the girl was home safely, he ran out of town. He didn't know where he was going, but he couldn't bear to live with his adoptive parents knowing that he was the reason their only birth son was gone.

Joe ran. He ran from his so-called parents who'd thrown him out for something he can't control, from the minister at his church that had just tried to "purify" him: or rather, drown him in an enclosed box filled with water, which Joe had just barely gotten himself out of alive. He couldn't believe this. He desperately wanted to go home, but... he didn't seem to have one anymore.

Cleo ran. She didn't know where she was, or even really who she was, but she knew she didn't want to stay with a bunch of creepy ghosts staring at her. She ran from where she'd woken up, half-buried, and literally half-dead.

Tango ran. He couldn't believe himself. He'd been able to control his temper before when his family openly were anti-mutant, but this time he just wasn't able to. His family was okay, so Tango didn't go to check on them and wait to be disowned: he just bolted.

Scar ran. He hadn't had an outburst like that since... the incident. He'd finally cracked: his best friend gone missing, his grades rapidly dropping along with his emotional and mental stability, his crappy teachers that just couldn't understand, and the repeated bullying had all crashed down so suddenly.

Zed ran. He'd just caused an 8.0 earthquake. For a scary moment, he'd stared at his tormentor/classmate and thought, "Karma". He literally made the ground below him shift, which he almost liked. And that kinda scared him.

Impulse ran. All those times he'd managed to keep it together had been for nothing. He almost killed someone. He'd changed the freaking weather from a normal, sunny day to large, dark thunder clouds. He would be a lot more than grounded once... no, if he got home. Problem was, he was lost on a field trip in New York. And he'd blown up the bus.

WHOOOOO!!
