Who?
Iris and I quickly changed into our cloaks and tunics. Fenrir, our little brother was still fast asleep. He was only 5 after all. Iris showed me a new drawing she made and continued scribbling in her notebook. I did my drills, push-ups, sit-ups, and back rollovers, and collapsed into a mess. A couple of minutes later, Fenrir woke up and got changed. I brushed his hair, which is rather haphazardly cut, but I'm only nine, how am I supposed to know how to style hair. Especially for a five-year-old who can't sit still. I noticed that my hair own was sticking up rebelliously. It was black and curly and incredibly inconvenient, so I cut it like a boys. Iris's hair is much longer, and blond. She somehow figured out how to braid it? Like how? She also keeps her things organized, while mine are ordered chaos. She usually has her head in the clouds, but when she does speak she is soft, and nervous. I am definitely the more outspoken one. But hey! I have to be. Fenrir is too little to fend for himself, and Iris... she's not the type to fight. So obviously, it's me who is in charge. Not to brag, but I am pretty good at it. I keep everyone safe, get food & clothes, and please Mr. Pyren & Sir Terik.
After eating breakfast, we heard a knock at the cave door. I quickly used telekinesis to tidy the room, and Iris and Fenrir got off the floor and sat on her beanbag. This all happened in a matter of seconds, and I answered the door to find Mr. Pyren, dragging a elf with messy brown hair into the room."Azrail, Iris, Fenrir, this is your new babysitter." "WhAt?" I responded, shocked. "We don't need a-" I fell short looking at the murderous look he was giving me. "Okay." "Okay...?" "Okay sir." I finished quietly. The pyroketnic then left, leaving us alone with the new elf. I had not seen him around the hideout, and that was strange. I knew everyone, though most people did not know me. That was because Terik is super confidential about us. Iris, who has foresight. Fenrir, who can control all the elements based on his mood. And me, who has far too many powers, that merge together and pop up at random. "Hello, it is nice to meet you, my codename is Aspect." said the new elf. I realized that I had not profiled him yet. Me and Iris can both profile people very easily. We can look at you and tell you your favorite color, ice cream flavor, and if you have ever been in a relationship. Iris uses it to identify people from her visions, mostly. I use it to identify threats. He was somewhere between 50-100 years old, and had clearly had his appearance changed recently. He seemed to generally be friendly. He also had a love interest, from the slight pupil dilation. His expression was sympathetic, and I hated it. It was probably fake. I decided that he was not to be trusted, and so I transmitted that to Iris and Fenrir. "What are your names?" I stepped forward. "My name is Azrail, this is Iris & Fenrir." I said, suspiciously, looking him in the eye. "Those are nice names! Is Fintan your dad?" I snorted, and Fenrir giggled innocently. "I guess that's a no? What do you guys want to do?" "We have to do our work." I said.
