Andy and Prez raced back to friendly lines, avoiding RADAR detection by staying just above the waterline. Emily was hanging on for dear life near the air intakes and right next to the cockpit
Prez: "You think she's alright, Bullet?" she asked.
Andy: "I think she's in a world of pain and probably not gonna be conscious when we land but she'll live." he replied, "You sure there's no enemies tailing our asses?"
Prez: "Checked 5 times, I'm sure." she replied.
Andy: "Ok......can you check again?" he asked, "Just to be safe, I don't wanna take any chances."
Prez: "Lighten up a bit man, we're 2 miles out from Shinano, even if there's an enemy on our tail we have shipgirls to help draw whoever it is away while we drop our little angel here off." she said.
Andy: "Ok...." he trailed off, "I don't like this, it's too quiet."
Prez: "I know," she said, looking around, "usually when we're booking it for the Carrier after a strike we're being chased by something until we get into the cover of the Arleighs and the Ticos."
Andy: "....did you steal my nickname for the Destroyers and the Cruisers?" he asked.
Prez: "I did." she replied, smugly, "Got a problem with it?"
Andy: "No, it actually sounds pretty cute when you say it." he replied.
This earned a blush from Prez who was flattered by Andy's words....of course this had to be interrupted when Prez spotted something in the clouds.
Prez: "Bullet....Contact, 7:30 high." she reported.
Andy turned to see Crimson 1's SU-47 on their tails watching them from just below the clouds.
Andy: ".....shouldn't have said it." he said, "Should not have said it."
A chuckle came over the radio.
Crimson 1: "So you filthy mercenaries finally noticed me, huh?" he chuckled, "You guys must get taken by surprise quite a bit."
Andy: "Mercenaries?" he questioned, "We're not mercenaries."
Crimson 1: "Oh really?" he asked, "I recognize that WSO anywhere Hitman 1."
Prez: "He knows me?" she questioned.
Crimson 1: "Hm....seems something went wrong when you and Monarch came here." he said, "No matter, This will be easy now you're not in your prized F-14."
Prez: ".....ok, this guy has gone crazy." she said.
Andy: "Yup, we still got ammo?" he asked.
Prez: "Yeah, more than enough for a dogfight." she replied.
Crimson 1: "Come on then, show me what you can do Mercenaries." he grinned.
Andy gunned the Super Hornet's engines and turned to engage the SU-47 in a dogfight, switching frequencies to contact Shinano.
Andy: "Shinano, this is the Commander, track our current positions and get here ASAP we have been engaged by an enemy and need to get the Angel off the battlefield as quickly as possible." he said.
Shinano: "Copy that Commander." she said, urgency filling her voice, "Me and the rest of the fleet will be there soon. Just hang in there."
Andy: "Copy that." he nodded.
Andy hit the side of his cockpit to get Emily's attention before gesturing to Prez who was holding up a whiteboard that read 'Can you fly?', Emily nods shakily and spreads her wings to get off the Super Hornet before things get hairy. The Super Hornet then turns to engage the SU-47 in a dogfight....and immediately the lock on warnings roar in Andy's and Prez's ears, this prompts a burst of chaff and Andy rolling to the left and out of the way. Crimson 1 climbs, gaining the altitude advantage before diving down on the pair in their Super Hornet, Andy does his best to dodge but tracer rounds pepper the Super Hornet which now has a very bad trail of fluids following it.
Prez: "Been hit! RADAR's out and a fuel line's been cut!" she yelled.
Andy: "Damn it! That was quick!" he cursed, pulling up and feeling his jet groaning and shaking underneath him, "I know old girl, I know you're struggling. Come on!"
The SU-47 had overshot the F/A-18 and was now climbing to regain its lost altitude, so when Crimson 1 saw Andy pulling up he rightly eyed his movements.
Andy: "Come on....I believe...." he said, lining up a shot.
Crimson 1: "No.....no.....no no no..." he said, watching the F/A-18's nose come higher and higher before 2 burst of tracer tore a few holes into his jet and took out his RADAR, "Gah! Crap!"
Andy: "Ok! Got some hits. This is a start." he said, the stall warnings roaring into his ears immediately after as the F/A-18 lost all momentum and began falling.
Prez: "Damn! Engines are cooked!" she called, "She won't be able to take much more of this."
Crimson 1 loops back around on the attack as Andy begins diving for the deck.
Andy: "That's it....that's it.....then...." he trailed off, pulling up slightly so his canopy was facing up to watch Crimson 1 diving down before stomping on his left rudder and flipping his direction of travel around, "Switch!"
This sudden change made Crimson 1 have to change direction on a dime and overshoot, losing another burst as Andy dodged.
Crimson 1: "Will you stand still already?" he groaned, wheeling himself around to continue the fight.
Prez: "He's alongside us! He's trying to climb again!" she called.
Andy: "C'mon...." he trailed off, gunning his engines and hearing them audibly complaining, "I know engines.....just a few bursts..."
Andy pulled the trigger twice, landing a few minor blows to insignificant parts of Crimson 1's plane. As he turned around to try and return the favor Andy managed to stay out of his HUD, earning a very frustrated growl from Crimson 1.
He climbed up again as Andy fell back to Earth in a stall, when they went to joust again Andy made a well timed reversal to avoid bursts of tracer from Crimson 1, causing the SU-47 to overshoot and come alongside him.
Andy: "C'mon....c'mon! Don't fail on me now old girl!" he yelled, gunning the engines and pulling up hard as Crimson 1 tried to get back up to altitude, "Up! Up! I know! Come on!"
Warning lights, sirens, bells, and whistles roared in the F/A-18's cockpit as it kept up with the SU-47. As Crimson 1 tried to dive in again, Andy stayed behind him but was unable to get the UN Peacekeeper into his HUD. In one last move to try and get the Super Hornet off his tail or make it overshoot Crimson 1 hits the air brakes and rolls to the left, prompting Andy to follow him, this move backfires as now Andy's right behind him and below him, Andy lines up the shot, he has the perfect line of fire on the weapons bay and the engines, he lets out a burst, tracers fly through the air, peppering the SU-47 as it tries to roll out of the way....but then just before the tracers found their mark.....CLANK! Something goes wrong and both guns jam.
Andy: "SHIT!" he cussed, hitting the dashboard in anger, "Jammed.....nothing we can do now...."
The Super Hornet begins flying away and the SU-47 tries to get a lock.....only to find that the bursts of tracer had severed his weapons systems, he was unable to blind fire his missiles and he was out of bullets.
Crimson 1: "Hm....alright." he said, turning for home, "Until we meet again red tail."
Andy looked back as Crimson 1 disappeared into the clouds and panted, his heart racing from the action as he flew away to grab Emily and make a rush for Shinano. Emily had not wandered far and was soon back in her perch on the F/A-18 as it lined up for landing on Shinano, Emily seemed very tired from hovering in one spot for so long and was thankful that the Super Hornet finally came back and gave her a lift the rest of the way to the Carrier.
Shinano's deck was clear and Andy safely...if not a little roughly landed on the Carrier's wooden deck, wincing as he heard it crack and creak a little bit, probably not expecting how rough and heavy Andy's jet was. Nevertheless the Super Hornet hooked the 3rd wire and ground to a halt allowing Andy to open his cockpit and address Emily at last.
Andy: "Kid, you ok?" he asked, hopping out of his cockpit and kneeling next to Emily.
Emily weakly groans in reply, struggling to keep her eyes open and from how much gold was now decorating the F/A-18's right gun emplacement and the rest of the engine, Andy could see why.
Andy: "Ok....hang in there." he said, turning to his shipgirls, "Shinano! Call Observer, tell her to portal us outta here and grab Akashi!"
Shinano: "Hai!" she saluted, more awake than usual.
Andy held Emily's wounds tightly to minimize the blood loss as a portal opened up in front of the formation to bring them home.
Port of Hamburg
1500 hours-1600 hours
Current Conditions: Cloudy
As soon as Shinano docked Andy carried Emily off the Carrier and onto the quayside where Akashi and Tester were.
Akashi: "What happened to her nya?" she asked
Andy: "She's been riddled with tracers and she's lost a lot of blood." he replied.
Akashi: "How nya? Don't tell me you shot her nya." she said.
Prez: "Me and Bullet went out to try and find any faults with the upgrades we gave our jet." she explained, "While we were out we ran into her, when she noticed we spotted her she panicked and ran into Iris and Royal forces, they shot her up before we managed to save her."
Andy: "On the way back we were intercepted by an SU-47." he added, "He attacked us and we had to keep Emily from getting shot at so we made her hover in place for a bit."
Akashi: "Probably the best move you could've made nya.~" she said, examining the Angel.
Tester B: "Hm...fascinating..." she trailed off, examining Emily and taking a sample of her blood, "I'll run some tests on her blood and synthesize more."
Andy: "Do it quick." he said, helping Akashi move her into the infirmary.
As Andy, Prez, and Akashi ran off with Emily, Tester gave a weary humm as she examined the vial of golden blood she had collected from Emily, on a passing glance it did resemble Siren Blood but it had a much lighter color and even had a slight glow to it where Siren Blood did not.
Cleveland: "You good there Tester?" she asked.
Tester B: "Yes Cleveland, I am quite well." she replied, "Shouldn't you be accompanying the Commanders?"
Cleveland: "What good am I in the medical field?" she retorted.
Tester B: "Fair enough." she said, still examining Emily's blood.
Cleveland: "You still trying to wrap your head around the fact that there's an angel among us now?" she asked.
Tester B: "In all known universes Christianity Exists. Until now I've just chalked that up to one of many coincidences such as country names, species names, etc. but now...." she trailed off, "...now there's credible evidence of a God, Angels, and an Afterlife....and I don't know how to feel about that."
Cleveland: "So Emily just shattered your world view essentially." she giggled.
Tester B: ".....yes." she replied.
Cleveland: "Damn..." she giggled.
Tired of conversation for the day, Tester opened a portal to her lab in a Mirror Sea.

Site 61
0300 hours-0330 hours
Current Conditions: Clear
Dr Aoste was busy toiling in the labs of Site 31. The SCPS Discovery, SCPS Unicorn, and the USS Enterprise had safely arrived at Site 61 in the British Isles, Enterprise's CSG had been amnesticized and sent on their merry way with the Enterprise staying behind with begrudging allowance on the part of the US Navy who loaned their flagship to the SCP Foundation for the time being. He was working on trying to rebuild the Discovery's prototype Spore Drive as they did not have a proper test with the thing yet. As he worked, Dr Anzeel snuck up on him and hugged him from behind.
Dr Anzeel: "Hey hun." she greeted.
Dr Aoste: "Do you need anything from me Anzeel?" he asked.
Dr Anzeel: "Eh....? Can't I just visit my husband....?" she replied, pouting a little.
Dr Aoste chuckled lightheartedly, while this was a very high stress and dire situation, he still found comfort in Anzeel's childish attitude which was part of the reason he had married her.
Dr Anzeel: "In all seriousness though, I wanted to see if you needed any help with this." she said.
Dr Aoste: "Yeah, the ********* needs recalibration and the ******** needs replacement." he explained.
Dr Anzeel: "The ******** ? You know that's made from *****, right?" she asked.
Dr Aoste: "Yes, and somehow SCP-8929-9 managed to damage it." he sighed.
Dr Anzeel: "Which one did Unicorn say 8929-9 was?" she asked.
Dr Aoste: "Georgia," he replied, "I think ship construction is different in her universe because when I looked up the Battleship Georgia and showed a picture to Unicorn she denied that as being our Georgia."
Dr Anzeel: "Did she say what Georgia is supposed to be like?" she asked.
Dr Aoste: "She did, apparently Georgia is an Iowa-Class Battleship with higher caliber 18 inch guns instead of 16 inch guns." he replied, "I've searched through US Navy Catalogs and I did find something matching this description."
Dr Aoste taps a few keys on his keyboard to reveal the blueprints for twin gun 18 inch turrets that could fit in the barbettes of the 16 inch turrets found on the Iowa-Class battleships.
Dr Anzeel: "Hm.....interesting, explains how the Discovery took so much damage." she hummed, "How go the repairs?"
Dr Aoste: "Slowly, the damage caused to the Discovery was extensive. Our encounter with 4217 only increased the damage." he replied, "And besides that, all the parts and materials we need to fabricate replacement pieces are either very hard to get to or one of a kind."
Dr Anzeel: "So in other words, our attempt to cross the Mirror Sea and rescue Strider 5 and Strider 6 has to wait." she said, her mochipper mood dying.
Dr Aoste: "Not necessarily." he stated, bringing up another schematic on his computer, "While Discovery is unable to be used, I've been told a smaller Spore Drive has been developed and can be attached to Strider 1's Aircraft. This gives them the ability to find their missing members while also giving us valuable data."
Dr Anzeel: "Hm....interesting." she hummed, "I'll tell them in the morning. For now, let's get some shuteye, Discovery won't be going anywhere anytime soon after all."
Dr Aoste makes a tired noise in agreement before following his wife to the dorms.

Tester B's Lab
??? Hours
Current Conditions: N/A
Tester soon arrived in her lab, the lab itself was a very abstract place. It was a void most of the time, black with no walls and a liquid floor that Kansen and Siren could stand on but when Tester enters and thinks of what exactly she is to do in this space the space automatically generates the workstations she needs in a convenient and organized fashion with other workstations being summoned and discarded as she pleases. As the various stations and bits of equipment floated up out of the liquid that was the floor, Tester's eyes wandered to the glowing vial of golden blood in her hands. She scanned the blood one more time and just like the last few times, her scanners couldn't identify where the hell it all came from or what the genetic makeup was like.
Tester B: "Alright, let's see your genetic secrets Angel." she said, setting down the vial in one of the machines.
The machine began spinning as various other, much more powerful, scanners began having their way with the strange vial of liquid. In the meantime, Tester went to another station to do something else when suddenly, she heard the machine she had just left break and the sample of blood clatter to the ground next to her.
Tester B: "Hm?" she questioned, picking the vial up, "What did you-?"
Tester looked at the machine, only to find it had been completely destroyed.
Tester B: "Hm...that's odd..." she trailed off, examining the vial, "It seems I have to be more persistent with you."
The vial gave no answer as it was inanimate, the damaged workbench disappeared and a short bit later it reappeared completely undamaged so Tester could see exactly what went wrong.
Tester B: "Ok....round 2..." she said, putting the vial in and letting the machine turn on.
Tester sat back on a chair and watched as the machine whirred to life, the blood glowed brightly before causing the machine to explode and launching itself at Tester who caught it with ease.
Tester B: "Hm....very interesting..." she trailed off.
Tester examined the vial once more and began thinking of a machine work around that might overpower whatever Holy Magic was breaking her machine.
9 hours later
A few hours later, Observer and Empress entered the lab to see what was causing so many explosions only to find Tester slumped over a wrecked machine with a cracked vial of Emily's blood on another table.
Observer A: "Um...." she said, stifling her giggles, "What happened here?"
Tester B: "This....stupid vial of blood...." she trailed off, "It has refused time and time again to give me its secrets and everytime I think I have come close, it just blows up another machine."
Arbiter: Empress III: "Well, that can't do." she said, "I shall have Compiler and Observer 0 assigned to help you in this task. Hopefully we'll have a nice bag of actual Angel blood to give our little friend soon enough."
Observer A: "I shall inform 0 as soon as possible." she said.
Arbiter: Empress III: "Have you at least been able to identify any substitutes, Tester?" she asked, "Anything over 40% will work."
Tester B: "It took a little trial and error but during hour 7 I was able to compile some data on the blood. It was just enough to determine similarities to Siren Blood." she replied, "It's about a 45% match but it's as good as we have."
Arbiter: Empress III: "Good enough. I want a bag of our blood sent to the infirmary to be transfused into Emily." she said.
Observer A: "Ma'am, with all due respect, is that not what the humans call Medical Malpractice?" she questioned.
Arbiter: Empress III: "There is no other alternative to this Observer." she replied, "It's either we dirty her blood stream or we let her die of blood loss."
Observer sighed as Tester did the calculations of what might happen.
Tester B: "There's a 98% chance that the Siren blood will cause Emily's body to self-destruct on the inside," she said.
Arbiter: Empress III: "We'll take those odds." she said.
A bag of Siren blood was produced and handed over to Observer who portalled down to Earth 8447 to give the blood over to Akashi.
Earth 8447
Akexianer St Hedwig Hospital, Hamburg
1601 hours-2000 hours
Current Conditions: Cloudy
Emily had been placed in a hospital bed with Akashi by her side and Andy and Prez's fleet also by their side as guards, making sure no harm would come to the young angel in the hospital bed until a portal opened allowing Observer with the bag of Siren Blood in.
Akashi: "Finally nya!" she said, "That must have taken forever in Mirror Sea time."
Observer A: "Tester definitely complained about it forever." she chuckled, handing the bag of blood over.
Andy: "So....she'll be alright?" he asked.
Akashi: "We'll know in 24 hours nya.~" she replied, hooking the blood up to Emily.
Prez: "Hospital visiting hours should be ending soon, let's go Bullet." she said, getting up.
Andy: "Righto." he said, following her and turning to Akashi, "Need any guards?"
Akashi: "No nya~ we have Observer for that." she replied.
Prez grabbed Andy by the collar and began dragging him out, feeling jealous that Andy actually found a partner that wasn't her.
Prez: "You heard the lady! Let's go Bullet!" she said, dragging her crushing pilot away.
Andy: "Wha-? Hey! Prez!" he yelled, trying to fight her grip to no avail.
As they left, Akashi turned to Observer.
Akashi: " Is that bet on when they get together still going on nya?" she asked.
Observer A: "Pot's still open." she replied.
Akashi: "I'm going all in on next month nya.~" she said, walking out of the room to make the bet, "Just watch over Emily nya~"
Observer A: "My job is to observe every little detail Akashi." she said, "Watching a single person won't be too hard."
Akashi: "True nya~" she giggled, walking away.
As Akashi left, Observer scanned Emily and watched her vitals, looking for any signs of trouble.
A few hours went by uneventfully and Observer was surprised Emily wasn't showing signs of her body trying to kill itself yet. All Emily's vitals were reading as normal and scanning her body showed no abnormalities other than the slightly tainted blood stream.
Observer A: "Very strange...." she muttered, "It seems Angel Biology is much more resistant to changes than Human Biology..."
Observer began taking down notes on the various little things she noticed about Emily's anatomy, similarities, differences, things that are obvious and things that are not obvious. She also did a few calculations on how strong certain parts had to be and made speculation on how her glow worked until Akashi finally returned.
Akashi: "Did I miss anything nya?" she asked.
Observer A: "Nothing much." she replied, "She's sleeping like a baby."
Akashi: "That's good to hear." she said, sitting down, "It looks like she'll be fine."
Observer A: "How long do you think she'll be bed ridden for?" she asked.
Akashi: "About 5-10 weeks maybe." she replied, "But it could be shorter, we'll see in time."
Observer A: "Good....I shall spend the night here." she said.
Akashi: "Hai, do as many scans as you can with her." she shrugged, "Just don't pick and prod at her."
Observer just nods as she watched Emily's vitals stay steady.
Heaven
???? hours
Current Conditions: Absolutely Fucking Perfect!~
The people of Heaven were enjoying their afterlifes as usual, the bright sunlight shone on the golden, shiny surfaces of the bustling city. Everyone that is except Sera who was beginning to miss Emily's bright, cheerful presence in the halls cheering everyone up and making sure Heaven was a very cheerful place.
Adam: "Wassup Sera?" he asked, barging in suddenly with Lute by his side, "You called us?"
Sera: "Yes, I did." she said, fixing her paperwork, "I want an exact report of the Earth that I sent Emily to."
Lute: "Earth 8447, ma'am?" she questioned.
Sera: "8447? I sent her to Earth 1." she said.
Lute: "No you didn't ma'am." she said, showing her a feed of what had happened to Emily.
Sera: "O-oh my god!" she said, "What's been happening to that world?!"
Adam: "Oh, that place is a shit show." he said, "Some megalomaniac took over what most people call the US and has been hentai mindbreaking the rest of the world's shipgirls."
Sera: "...what?" she asked.
Adam: "Uh-huh. Everything's been going to shit down there." he said, "Honestly, I'm surprised you even picked that Earth."
Sera: "I thought I was sending her to Earth 1!" she said.
Adam: "Really?" he questioned, "What gave ya that idea? You handed in the papers for Earth 8447."
Sera: "I could've sworn I sent her to Earth 1..." she trailed off.
As Sera began pondering what the hell had gone wrong, she missed the look in Adam's eye, he had switched the papers to send Emily down to 8447, knowing that was a death sentence to any angel. There were 2 reasons for this, firstly was the whole war situation, second was because Adam had, while helping God create that Earth, slipped Angelic Metals into that Earth's crust instead of normal metals, he had planned to send any jackasses he hated down there to be executed and have nothing traceable back to him. Sera rushed into the empty council room and summoned an orb.
Sera: "Show me Emily!" she shouted.
The orb glowed in acknowledgement before showing Emily in the hospital bed being tended to by Akashi and Observer.
Sera: "No...." she trailed off, "How is she injured? Why is she hooked up to all that Medical Equipment?"
Adam tensed up knowing that Emily was still alive to protest against the best entertainment he ever had.
Sera: "I want a team of angels to go down to 8447 and get Emily out of there." she ordered, "And she better come back here alive and well."
Adam: "Yes ma'am!" he saluted, through gritted teeth, "We're on it."
Adam turned around and lead Lute out.
Lute: "What do we do now sir?" she asked, "They're gonna start asking questions about how Emily got hurt so badly."
Adam: "Simple. We go down there, and we kill her ourselves." he replied, "Not the cleanest solution but sometimes you just have to do it yourself."
Lute: "What about the humans, Siren, and Kansen around her sir?" she asked.
Adam: "Oh please, Siren and Kansen are unholy pieces of crap. They can't handle us." he replied, cockily, "And humans? Please, they're humans, they have to let me through, I'm the first fucking man."
Giving no further answers, Adam walked away to arrange the trip with Lute lagging behind, unsure of what would happen next.
A/N:
Andy: Finally! Finished!
Prez: *hugging Andy from behind* Yay! You updated our book!~
Andy: Well, I decided to just do 2 Pilots for the Month. I'll have Book of Railways be updated Next Month and RWBY's Soldiers in the month after that.
Emily: Did you....think of why I got hurt on the spot?
Andy: ...yes, I saw the latest Hazbin Hotel episodes and realized 'Oh shit! Regular bullets can't harm an angel. What the fuck am I gonna do?!' so I tweaked the lore for Earth 8447 just a bit more so Adam was helping God create this Earth and Adam decided to just weaponize it against fellow angels by essentially replacing Iron, Steel, Carbon, and such with Angelic Metals as found in the later episodes of Hazbin Hotel being used for fencing, buildings, bullets, missiles, shrapnel, etc.
Prez is seen taunting Lady of Legend in the background just beside the rails so the Steam Engine couldn't physically retaliate.
Andy: Anyways, that's all from me dieHero, you're up. Have an interaction with Emily, maybe have a small fight with a random Exterminator Adam sends down to test the waters, anyway, gotta go.
