"Morning mama!" Yuzu said as she walked inside the small house
"M-morning Auntie" Shai said
"Girls! Thank goodness you two are still okay. How was your morning training?" Ume asked
"Well...we didn't do much but Matsuri will teach us more. She said that we can use our powers for little things like lighting up the fire" Yuzu said
"O-or cool things" Shai said
"That's great but please don't burn or freeze anything" Ume said nervously
"Don't worry mom. We won't. Okay Shai let's start making breakfast" Yuzu said
"Hehe girls. There is no need to" Ume said
"Mom please just sit down and rest. We've got this right Shai?" Yuzu asked
"Y-yes" Shai said as she nodded. Ume smiled at her two girls and sat down on the table while looking after her girls
Hopefully nothing goes wrong...
"Let's start with the stove" Yuzu said and looked at her hand
"A-are you s-sure?" Shai asked as she trembled
Yes. I'm sure" Yuzu said
"Yuzu what are you plan on doing?" Ume asked slightly concerned
Why is she looking at her hand? What is she going to do?
"Mom please don't worry. Everything is okay. I'm trying to turn on the stove" Yuzu said as she tried to focus on her hand
"Yuzu! Don't do that! What if you lose control?" Ume asked as she stood up from her seat and walked up to her
"Mom please let me fo this. I know I can do this so please just let me light up the stove. I promise I won't burn anything" Yuzu said as she smiled softly
Now time to focus on my power...just use a little bit. Don't...panic
"Yuzu you do-"
"I did it!" Yuzu said a small flame appeared on her finger
"Good now turn it off before you lose control" Ume said
"I know I know" Yuzu said as she light up the stove and removed her finger. She moved her finger and winced a bit
Doesn't hurt so much...but it does sting a little bit
"Are you okay?" Ume asked
"Hehe yeah. I'm fine mom" Yuzu said as she smiled. The two girls began to prepare breakfast for each other and Ume
"This is delicious, Yuzu" Ume said as she smiled softly
"Really?" Yuzu asked
"Mhm. It tastes amazing" Shai said
"Awww thanks" Yuzu said
"Well thank you for the breakfast but I must head to my work now. Remember don't go running around in the forest like that and I hope you two don't get into trouble" Ume said
"Yes mom" Yuzu said
"Don't worry Auntie. We won't get in trouble" Shai said
"Good. Now I better go before the lady gets mad at me" Ume said and left the house after saying goodbye to her two girls
"I'll wash the dishes" Shai said and grabbed the dishes then walked to the sink
"I'll clean the table" Yuzu said. The two girls started to clean the kitchen and finished their chores
"Done" Shai said
"That's great. Now let's go to the village" Yuzu said
"H-huh? To the village?" Shai asked
"Sure. Come on" Yuzu said
"B-but we shouldn't..." Shai said as she trembled
Auntie will be worried...
"Shai we have to. We have to help mom with money. Mom can't just go work alone. Now let's go and try to make some money" Yuzu said as she held ot her hand. Shai trembled a little and sighed softly
"O-okay but...we won't get in trouble right?" Shai asked
"Of course not" Yuzu said and smiled softly
"O-okay" Shai said and followed Yuzu out their house. Yuzu closed the door as she locked it and hid the key underneath the mat
"Now let's hurry" Yuzu said and took Shai
"H-hey! Don't run!" Shai said as she followed Yuzu. Yuzu and Shai got to the village where they were selling materials. It was slightly crowded so Yuzu and Shai kept holding hands as they walked through the crowd
"You okay?" Yuzu asked
"Y-yeah" Shai said and whimpered a bit as she pushed herself through the crowd. Yuzu and Shai sighed in relief as they escaped the crowd
Phew...we made it out alive
"Let's go" Yuzu said and walked with Shai. Yuzu and Shai walked pass other villagers houses until they reached to a green field. The two got to the house and Yuzu knocked on the door. The door opened revealing a seventeen year old guy
"Oh it's the Okogis! Welcome back" The guy said as he smiled at them
"Hi Udagawa-san" Yuzu said
"M-morning" Shai said as she smiled a little
"Please come in" Udagawa said as he allowed the two girls inside his home
"Thank you" Yuzu said
"Ready for work?" Udagawa asked
"Yes sir" Yuzu and Shai replied
"Great" Udagawa said. Udagawa got the girls their outfits and took them outside to the field
"Take care of the cattle and my animals while I take the chickens to the village for sale" Udagawa said
"Sure thing. We know what to do" Yuzu said
"We promise to take good care of them" Shai said
"Thanks Okogis. I'll pay you two once I get back okay?" Udagawa asked
"Yes sir" The two Okogis replied. Udagawa smiled softly and left the two girls alone
"I want to see the horses!" Shai said as she left
"C-careful Shai! I don't want you to freeze anything!" Yuzu said as she ran after her
"Don't worry! I understand!" Shai said as she got to the stables and smiled seeing the beautiful horses. The four horses were in their stables and seemed calm
"Hi Rosy, Beauty, Thunder, and Bolt" Shai said as she smiled. Shai walked inside and stopped by Beauty's stable as she reached her hand out. Beauty was a beautiful white mare and Shai loved her very much. Beauty let out a soft neigh and allowed Shai to pet her. Shai
"Hey everyone" Yuzu said and walked inside. The black stallion let out a loud neigh and stood by his hind legs
"Gosh! Calm down Thunder!" Yuzu said as she walked up to him. Thunder looked at Yuzu and shook his head
"Hehe nice to see you too" Yuzu said as she giggled slightly nervous
He scares me sometimes but I know he just wants to run free
"Maybe we can let him out for a bit" Shai said
"Are you crazy?! We'll get in trouble!" Yuzu exclaimed
"Please..." Shai said
"No Sha-ahh! Hey don't eat my hair!" Yuzu said as she pulled away from Thunder. Thunder only let out a neigh and Yuzu only groaned
"I know you want to run free but...we'll get in trouble" Yuzu said and petted him softly. Thunder nudged her and let out a whine
"Please Yuzu. Just let them play out for a little while" Shai pleaded. Yuzu only groaned and opened the stable door for Thunder
"Fine" Yuzu said. Thunder instantly ran out of his stable and went out to the open field
"Wow he really wanted to go out" Yuzu said. Shai giggled and opened the stable doors for the two mares while Yuzu opened the stable door for Bolt. The brown stallion stepped out of the stables and walked calmly out in the field
"I like Bolt so much since he is always calm. On the other hand, Thunder is a little wild" Yuzu said
"Oh but he just wants to have fun" Shai said and climbed on Beauty's back
"Hey what are you doing?" Yuzu asked
"Just going for a ride" Shai said and held onto Beauty's mane then left with Beauty. Rosy followed Beauty out the field and Yuzu walked out of the stables. Shai giggled as she felt the breeze hit her face while Beauty was trotting around the field. Yuzu sighed and giggled softly
Guess a little fun wouldn't hurt
"Shai! Wait for me!" Yuzu called as she ran to the open field

"Have you sent the message to the Aiharas and Momokinos?" The King asked
"Yes sir. They'll be arriving here in the afternoon" The guard said
"Perfect. They better bring their best warriors for this massacre" The King said and chuckled softly
Time to have some fun with those stupid vampires...
Hojo was a powerful King that has slaughtered thousands of vampires with his bare hands and weapons. People feared him but the beautiful Taniguchi saw a soft side in him. Many envied the King for having a beautiful wife and amazing daughters. The Taniguchis had an alliance with the Aiharas and Momokinos who have helped them deal with vampires. After Mitsuko's return, there were many villagers and warriors who volunteered to attack the vampires. War struck between vampires and humans. Humans have gotten better weapons since they used the captured vampire's power. Meanwhile with the vampires they attacked each other but mostly they all went after the weak vampires
"Where is my Queen?" Hojo asked
"She's outside in the garden" The guard said
"And what about my little girls?" Hojo asked
"Harumi is studying and Mitsuko is in the training room fighting one of the caged vampires" The guard said
"Hmm...I think I'll see her for a moment" The King said as he stood up from his seat and left his throne. He started walking towards the training room to see his daughter. Once he arrived, Hojo opened the door seeing his daughter panting heavily. Mitsuko wiped the sweat off her forehead and released the injured vampire. She held her whip and sighed

"Mitsuko" Hojo said
"Oh...hey father" Mitsuko said as wrapped up her whip
"How you've been?" Hojo asked
"I'm good..." Mitsuko said and looked at the vampire. The vampire trembled a little and coughed blood
"J-just...end me...please..." The vampire groaned and got taken back to the dungeon
"You've gotten a lot stronger these past few years. I think it's time for you to find someone" Hojo said
"What?" Mitsuko asked with a cold tone
"You've become a great leader, Mitsuko. You've grown so much that I think you should start looking for someone" Hojo said. Mitsuko groaned and walked away from him
This talk again? Haven't I already told him what I thought about this?
"You know I don't want to be part of this. I want to hunt down those vampires instead of dealing with Royal business and stupid meetings" Mitsuko said
"Mitsuko, you'll be a perfect Queen for this kingdom. If we can get the Tashis to agree with us then we'll definitely be able to help our kingdom get stronger and be more powerful than before" Hojo said
"Sorry father but...I am not intrested in this marriage business stuff. I am not ready for this big responsibility nor will I ever be..." Mitsuko said
"Hm? What makes you say that? You are the best Mitsuko. You've made the Taniguchis proud. Even your grandfather is proud of you. Everyone is proud of you. You deserve to be the next on the throne" Hojo said
"...no. I'm sorry but I don't want this. Especially if I'm forced to be with someone just for money or power" Mitsuko said as she started walking away
"Mitsuko...what's with this nonsense talk? I thought you wanted to rule this kingdom" Hojo said turning around to look at his daughter and walked after her
"Father...I rather not deal with all this. We've been fighting off vampires and that's all I'm good at. I rather stick to that then deal with this whole shitty marriage" Mitsuko said and started putting her whip away
"Mitsuko this is important for-"
"For you. It's all about you. I want to live my own life. Mother said I can do whatever I want and what I want..." Mitsuko said. Hojo shook his head and chuckled softly
"Hehe Mitsuko you can't just simply except me to acce-what the hell?" Hojo growled as he realized his daughter was gone
"Mitsuko!" Hojo shouted in anger
That damn girl! She better start growing up and accept the marriage idea!
Meanwhile Mitsuko walked away and sighed. She trembled slightly and reached up to touch her chest. She clenched her chest tightly feeling the aching pain inside her chest
I can't...it's all because of her...
