The Coffee Addict ⇻ Blake Hopper
♚
General Information
Name: Blake Anne Hopper
Date of Birth: April 4th, ?
Gender: Female
Zodiac: Aries
Portrayed By: Emily Browning
Personality
First, I would like to say that Blake is heavily based on my personality and what I aspire to be. She's confident (which I'm not), sarcastic- which people who know me personally can attest to- and very motherly. Again, something I am.
As said before, Blake is very sarcastic. It's one of the biggest points in her personality. Just like mine. Blake had a very traumatic childhood, in all of her books. Now, I never had my mom abandon me or my father become an alcoholic (which you'll read about more under the "Stranger Things" universe, but I had a traumatic childhood as well.
Blake Hopper is very much so the guardian of all as well because of this. The Hopper woman would do anything to protect anyone, especially her family or friends, even if it means that she's put in danger or even dies.
Blake is reckless and is classified as a neutral. She can be both evil and good at times, but it depends on who she believes has been wronged, whether or not it's her. This is seen throughout every book she has. In a way, Blake is self-less and is willing to give up anything for the people she loves.
She also tries to see the good in every person, which makes her blind sometimes. Blake is easy to forgive because of this, however, the only person she has never been able to forgive is her mother, in the Stranger Things Universe that is. It differs with each book.
Blake is very head-strong and doesn't give up easily no matter how physically, emotionally and mentally tired she is.

Life
-Every backstory is slightly different. I'll be doing each book's individually-
Barbed Wire
Blake Anne Hopper was born to Jim and, then, Diane Hopper in New York City, New York on April 4th, 1966. Blake was an only child until her fifth birthday in 1971 when her younger sister, Sara, was born.
For the next six years, everything was perfect for the Hopper family. They were the average family, loving to play random board games and at go to the park until Sara was suddenly and inexplicably terrified by something and started to hyperventilate. Jim sat her down and guided her breathing to calm her down, but it didn't help the young blonde girl until Blake started following suit- Sara finally listening because her big sister was doing it, too.
Sara was later put in the hospital and treated with chemotherapy for cancer treatment. Blake stayed with her in bed and read her the children's novel Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery and sang her favorite song, "Hey Jude," by The Beatles for months. Sara later passed away in the hospital as her parents and Blake watched, leaving the girl with severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and depression.
Soon after, Blake's mother, Diane, left herself and her father, Jim, to start another family with a man that was Blake's grade school teacher, Billy. Due to the feeling of being rejected, both Jim and Blake moved back to Jim's childhood town of Hawkins, Indiana.
Blake, now twelve, was very closed off. Though she was not in the slightest shy, she only interacted with her peers on a need-be basis and always had her nose in a book. One boy changed this, however. Jonathan Byers had been Blake's best friend ever since she moved to Hawkins, Indiana- the sole reason being that they were both the outcasts and could rely on themselves.
At this time, Blake's home-life was spiraling. Jim was getting drunk every night, forcing Blake to take care of herself and her drunken father when he passed out on the sofa, something that became a nightly ritual for the Hopper family and didn't change until another little girl came into Blake's life- Eleven.
Blake met Eleven one night in the woods when she, Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, and Lucas Sinclair were looking for their missing friend Will Byers- Jonathan's younger brother. She had met the group of boys on her first day of sophomore year, the girl stumbling across two bullies making fun of the boys in front of the middle school. The group instantly connected and the rest is history.
Take Me To Church
Blake Hopper never knew her parents or birth sister. In 1988, at 3 years old, Blake was kidnapped and put into the Red Room, a Soviet training facility that was created to produce highly specialized spies, including Black Widows Natalia Romanova and Yelena Belova.
Blake is considered a Black Widow, entering into the MCU during Iron Man 2. She was instructed by Nick Fury to assess the suitability of Tony Stark for the Avenger Initiative. The report she filed with S.H.I.E.L.D. along with Natasha found that Stark was unsuitable for it, but the Iron Man armor would be beneficial to the Initiative. She is a founding member of the Avengers and is the only female along with her adoptive sister, Natasha.
After assessing the infamous Tony Stark, her next assignment was regarding the first known superhero to the world- Steven Grant Rogers, also known as Captain America. After the super soldier was found and unfrozen, Blake's mission was to help the man acclimate back into society. The two quickly hit it off and became quick friends, Steve only ever trusting Blake.
The two went on to fight in the Battle of New York when Loki, son of Frigga, came and tried to take the Tesseract. They later went on to play a crucial role in combating and defeating the HYDRA forces that had taken control of S.H.I.E.L.D.. She met Narvi Green, her future wife before Civil War takes place.
Whipping Post
Blake Hopper in Whipping Post was born on April 4th, 1900 in Australia to a semi-wealthy family. She lived a normal life until her sister died of cancer when she was twelve. After this, Blake's mother, Diane closed herself off- resulting in a love for a bottle of Scotch.
The woman more often than not, was always alone. She lived in a world of literature until her mother left her and her father, Jim, for another man. This devastated both Jim and Blake.
Wanting another life for his daughter, Jim moved Blake and himself to America for a fresh start in the state of New York. This is where they met Tristan King, the most eligible gangster in the Nineteen-twenties.
When Jim died of tuberculosis in Nineteen-twenty-two, Blake was left engaged to Tristan, coming to find that he was abusive in many ways once Blake's father was out of the picture. Tristan was also held another secret of being a werewolf, something Blake had later found out after he had scratched her late one night after disobeying him.
Soon after, Blake met Elijah Mikaelson, who had heard of the terrible things Tristan's pack had been doing to the town of Kingston, New York. They welcomed the man, not knowing of his Original status, where he befriended Blake, seeing she was lonely under a willow tree one day.
The two quickly got close, Elijah slipping his blood into her drinks to heal her bruises and wounds from Tristan. Blake begged the man not to do anything in fear of his pack killing Elijah, the Original promising not to after her pleas.
The night of Blake's twenty-third birthday, she had been walking home from a dinner she and Elijah had at his home when Tristan and his gang attacked her in an empty lot. They left Blake for dead, Tristan having raped her before he slashed every inch of her skin causing her to choke on her own blood.
Blake was almost unrecognizable by the time Elijah smelt all the blood, immediately going to find her. After begging for him to do something, Elijah killed Blake, who had his blood in her system from earlier that night, successfully turning her into a vampire.
As Blake was in transition, Elijah killed Tristan's pack before he left Tristan for last, tearing him from limb to limb before strangling him with his own intestines. When he had gotten back to Blake, the woman was awake and in need of blood.
The pair stayed together for years, pretending they were married to hide suspicion from living in the same house out of wedlock. They stayed like this until Elijah went to Mystic Falls, having heard of another Petrova doppelganger.
Blake stayed in their home in Chicago, Illinois until Elijah had called her, telling her of rumors of a child fathered by his brother, Niklaus, causing him to need her help. Going to New Orleans worsened her headaches that had been beginning since Elijah was in Mystic Falls, finding out that she was soulmates with Kol Mikaelson, Elijah's younger brother, through the goddess of death, Narvi Green, who was Rebekah Mikaelson's soulmate as well.
Blake would visit Kol in the Other Side, having access through Narvi, who quickly became her best friend. Despite being dead, Blake and Kol quickly married before the Other Side was torn down by Bonnie Bennett, leaving Blake pregnant despite being an Original through their soulmate bond.
Blake gave birth two twins, Willow Amelia Mikaelson and Peter James Mikaelson, after Kol had died for a second time in the body of a local witch, Kaleb. After finding another way back to the living world, Kol and Blake had another daughter, Lila Rowan, and lived out their time together happily after Freya Mikaelson, long lost sister of the Mikaelson's, sacrificed herself to save them from the hollows that were terrorizing the family.
Dark Star
Born Blake Palpatine, but having not known it, at a young age Blake was given Hopper as a last name. Blake and Rey had been born on Naboo to James Palpatine, an imperfect clone of their paternal grandfather, Sheev Palpatine, also known as the Emperor of the fallen Empire, and Diane, a well known woman from the planet Naboo.
Wanting to get away from the Emperor and choosing to hide, Diane and James fled to the desert planet Jakku, staying their to raise their twins, Blake and Rey. When the twins were seven, a local Jedi killer, Ochi, came to collect them for their grandfather, who had remained alive despite being thought of as dead after Lord Vader killed him.
Diane and James left Blake and Rey on Jakku under the care of Unkar Platt, who took the girls as slaves for his scavenging business. Blake was left to care for her sister, being the oldest twin, and was told by her parents to do whatever it took to keep her safe.
Blake raised Rey, always giving her the most of anything they had to do what her mother asked of her. Other than her sister, Blake only had one other person to talk to. Her soulmate, Ben Solo.
Ben Solo had been six years old at the time of Blake's birth, the woman having his words on her wrist due to their soulmate troupe. The pair talked everyday until Snoke seduced Ben's mind, turning him to the dark side.
Snoke demanded Ben to not talk to Blake, leaving her alone at twelve. Ten years later, after a turn of events, Blake met Ben, now Kylo Ren, and married him despite protesting, Snoke forcing them to do so after finding out Blake was force sensitive.
The rest is history.
Marauders
Blake Hopper was born and raised in Australia, going to Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she was eleven years old. She was very advanced for her age and Dumbledore saw it himself that she, Calista Noelle Malfoy, Narvi Green, and Jessica Lynne Martin, a transfer who was appointed by Dumbledore from the states, were put into higher classes.
This successfully allowed the women to skip ahead a grade, where they met the Marauders, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, James Potter, Lily Evans and Peter Pettigrew. The group soon grew close and eventually Blake became romantically involved with Remus Lupin during their fifth year at Hogwarts.
The couple stayed close to each other all year, the only nights of the month that they weren't being the full moon.
One night after they had graduated Hogwarts, Blake and Remus had fallen asleep in her bedroom when Blake was awoken by Remus yelling for her to get away from him. They had overslept and he hadn't had time to get away from her during the full moon.
Blake protested and promised she wouldn't leave him as he changed into a werewolf, Remus scratching deeply into her stomach. A trail of blood followed her as she ran to her best friend's house, Narvi Green, who was involved with Sirius Black where Narvi immediately cared for her wounds.
When Remus woke up the next morning, he had no memories of what he had done and was frightened when he saw their shared bedroom shredded. He quickly followed the trail of blood to Narvi's house, where Blake was asleep and recovering.
He then broke up with her in fear that he would hurt her again and that she saw him as a monster, which she didn't. Blake moved in with Narvi and Sirius before Lily and James Potter were murdered, causing Sirius to be framed for their murder.
Black was taken to Azkaban and Blake stayed with a Narvi, who was eight months pregnant with Rigel.
Despite their hardships, the pair stayed together for many years, becoming Aurors for the Ministry of Magic. They are called in after Dementors enter the school grounds and Sirius Black had escaped from Azkaban, trying to find Narvi and Rigel, who was in his second year of Hogwarts as a Hufflepuff.
