She froze, staring into his eyes. She didn't feel any trace of lust there it was something deeper. Love, perhaps? Did he feel the same? Maybe... just maybe he likes her. The thought sent her heart into a spiral of uncertainty and hope.
She racked her brain, searching for the right words to ease the moment. Her lips pressed together in thought, forming an involuntary pout.
It was that small gesture that seemed to undo him.
Her thoughts scattered when she felt his lips on hers. This time, he kissed her, his lips moving gently yet deliberately against hers, like he was testing the waters of something forbidden.
Her heart hammered in her chest, loud enough to drown out every other sound. Her hands trembled uncontrollably, the spoon slipping from her fingers and clattering onto the floor.
She closed her eyes, surrendering to the unfamiliar sensation. She had never felt this before this overwhelming, intoxicating warmth. Why did it feel so good?
When he pulled back, her eyes fluttered open, instantly meeting his. There was a storm in his gaze, passion tethered by restraint.
"Stop me" he murmured, his voice low and filled with urgency. His hand rested lightly on the small of her back, yet it felt like it burned her skin. "Because if I start, there's no holding back."
She swallowed hard, her throat dry. What should she say? Did she want him to stop? Her mind screamed that it was wrong he was her teacher, after all. But her heart... her heart didn't want him to let go.
"I don't want to hurt you, Y/N" he continued, his tone softening as he searched her face for any sign of hesitation. "Stop me, please."
For a moment she didn't speak. She just stared into his eyes as if searching for the answer within them. Then slowly she shook her head as no.
A sigh escaped his lips, filled with both relief and tension. He knew what that meant. She didn't want him to stop.
"If I start, I won't stop" he warned again, his voice rougher now. "You're not in the condition to bear me."
Her cheeks flushed furiously at his words. She couldn't bring herself to meet his eyes anymore. Instead, her gaze fell to their legs and the realization that he was standing so intimately close to her made her stomach churn with nerves.
His one hand was on her back, warm and grounding, while the other rested lightly on her thigh, sending sparks through her skin.
Tentatively, she placed her trembling hand over his. Her fingers brushed his knuckles, and then she looked up at him, her shy smile breaking the last thread of his restraint.
That was all it took.
He couldn't hold himself back anymore. Without another thought, he leaned in and captured her lips again, this time with more intensity. His lips moved against hers, claiming and exploring pouring all his suppressed emotions into that kiss.
But she sat there frozen, unsure of what to do. Her heart thundered wildly in her chest, the sound almost deafening.
When Namjoon didn't feel her respond, he pulled back, his brows furrowing as he looked at her. Her wide, innocent eyes stared back at him like a child caught doing something they didn't understand.
"What happened?" he asked softly, his hand pressing against her waist as if to steady her.
"I-I... I don't know how to kiss" she stammered, her voice barely a whisper. Embarrassment washed over her as she quickly dropped her gaze.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. Then, as if to break the tension she reached for the brownie on the plate beside her. "Uhmm... I-I should eat this" she muttered, taking a bite.
She avoided his eyes, but his intense gaze never left her. He was so close his presence enveloping her like a warm blanket. And despite her nerves, she felt safe.
Should she change the topic? She wanted to, but at the same time, she didn't want him to stop.
"You know what?" she began, her voice small but steady. "My father loves me. He bought me brownies every year on my birthday. He never wished me, but he always got them for me." Her lips curled into a bittersweet smile as she took another bite.
Namjoon watched her intently, his eyes softening with admiration.
"But my mom..." she chuckled bitterly, her voice trembling. "She never let me have them. Not even a single bite. She complained like a small kid complaining to his father for something.
Tears shimmered in her eyes, but before they could fall, Namjoon spoke. "I can buy you as many as you want. Don't worry."
His words were so simple, yet they made her heart swell. She looked at him and smiled a big, genuine smile. "I know. Thank you for this delicious surprise" she said, finishing another bite.
"What about my surprise?" he teased, his tone playful but his eyes still burning with intensity.
Her smile faltered. Realization dawned on her she had nothing to give him. Guilt crept in, and tears welled up in her eyes.
"I-I don't have any money... I'm sorry. I can't give you anything" she said, her voice cracking.
Namjoon's expression softened immediately. "Who told you I'd ask for something big?" he whispered, gently wiping away her tears.
She looked up at him, her emotions swirling in her chest. Even in this moment of vulnerability he was kind patient, and so overwhelmingly... him.
And deep down, she didn't want to stop him.
"So, what do you want?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly her gaze searching his. She blinked up at him her lashes heavy with uncertainty, her chest rising and falling in a rhythm that betrayed her racing heart.
"I just want one thing from you," he murmured, his voice low and gravelly, sending a shiver down her spine. His hand moved with purpose, sliding from her thigh to her inner leg, so close to her heat..thankfully she was wearing her pants.
The warmth of his touch spread like wildfire, igniting a part of her she didn't know existed.
Her breath caught in her throat. He was so close to her heat, so dangerously close that her body ached with anticipation. A war waged within her, her mind screamed for restraint, but her heart, her body, begged for more.
"I just want you to complete your studies" he continued, his tone soft but unwavering as if he was grounding both of them in this fragile moment.
His words, so calm and measured were at odds with the chaos he was stirring inside her. "To build a future that's yours. To make your own house, to bloom into the incredible woman I already see in you. A mother. A wife to someone who will cherish you, love you the way you deserve. Someone you'll choose." His lips curved into a gentle smile, but there was a sadness in his eyes that he couldn't hide.
Her chest tightened at his words, a pang of sadness slicing through her. "No one will marry me" she whispered, her voice barely audible, as if saying it aloud made it more real.
A bitter laugh escaped her lips as she forced a broken smile. "I know that. No one wants someone like me..leave it..tell me what about you?"
The vulnerability in her voice was a knife to his heart. His hand moved to cup her face, his thumb brushing away the tear that escaped before she could stop it.
His gaze held hers, his eyes blazing with a conviction that made her breath hitch. "I'll see you achieving all your dreams" he saidhis voice thick with unspoken emotion.
Her heart clenched at the thought of a life without him a life she couldn't bear to imagine. The idea of him standing at a distance, watching her live out dreams that felt hollow without him, sent a wave of despair crashing over her.
"You're going to start your studies in a new school" he said suddenly, his tone steady but commanding, as if trying to shift the moment, to redirect her focus.
Anger flickered across her face, sharp and sudden. She pulled back slightly, narrowing her eyes at him. "Is this the time to discuss studies? Really?" she snapped, her voice rising in frustration.
"I can't believe you. Let me go. You're so bad!" She struggled against his hold, trying to slip away, but he caught her wrist and pulled her back his grip firm yet gentle.
"Okayyyy" he said, his lips curving into a mischievous smirk that made her heart skip a beat. "I'll do what you want."
Before she could respond, he captured her lips with his own. The kiss was searing, overwhelming, stealing the air from her lungs.
It wasn't just a kiss it was a hidden confession a desperate plea a promise wrapped in raw, unfiltered emotion. She froze for a moment, caught off guard before tentatively moving her lips against his trying to match his pace. But she faltered, her inexperience making her stumble.
He slowed, pulling back slightly, his forehead resting against hers as their ragged breaths mingled. His eyes bore into hers, and for a moment, the world felt suspended.
"You're beautiful" he whispered, the words barely audible but so full of meaning that they left her trembling.
Lowering his lips to her neck, he pressed soft, lingering kisses to her skin. Each touch sent sparks skittering through her body, leaving her breathless.
Her hands clutched at his shoulders, her nails digging into his shirt as her body arched into him. When his lips reached her collarbone, a breathless moan escaped her lips, unbidden and raw.
He paused, his lips hovering over her skin as if savoring the moment. Then, his forehead dropped to her shoulder, his breath hot against her neck. "You have no idea how much you mean to me" he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.
Her heart shattered and rebuilt itself all at once. She couldn't find the words to respond, couldn't even think beyond the overwhelming sensation of him.
All she knew was that in this moment, nothing else mattered. It was just themraw, vulnerable, and bound by emotions too deep for words.
