Yoongi finally secured a collaboration with his all time favorite producer, 'Producer Nim'. He was so excited and was constantly talking about it with his members. They were all extremely happy for him and said they absolutely couldn't wait for the collab to come out. Producer Nim was someone Yoongi had looked up to since his childhood, one of his very own idols, and thought he could only ever dream of collaborating. To his surprise one day Nim's company actually contacted BigHit to ask for the collaboration. It was an instant yes from the rapper.

The day came when Yoongi finally got to meet Producer Nim face to face, and he was nervous with excitement. Nim came to the studio, as they'd be working out of the HYBE building, and introduced himself. Yoongi spoke on and on about how huge of a fan he was and how honored he felt to have this chance, but admitted he was a bit nervous. He hoped the track they produced together would come out well. Yoongi introduced him to the rest of the band members and they also spoke about how much Yoongi loved him, Nim seemed to be quite flattered. He also said they could drop honorifics and that everyone could just call him Nim.

"I like him already!" Jimin chuckled.

That night the members headed home while Yoongi had to stay at the studio to get to work on his project with Nim. The members hugged Yoongi goodbye and Jin said to call him if he needed anything, and to try and not stay out too late.

Yoongi immediately started showing Nim around his studio and introducing him to the equipment he used. Nim started talking about how the equipment in his own studio was way better, making Yoongi feel a bit bad, but there wasn't much he could do about it.

They sat down at the computer together and started playing around with some software that created instrumentals. While Yoongi was messing around with a few things on the computer Nim grabbed his wrist, "Stop. This sounds terrible."

"I'm just messing with it," Yoongi explained. He already knew it didn't sound good. Nim wasn't letting go of the rappers wrist, he was sitting there squeezing it.

"Can you let go? You're hurting my arm," Yoongi said. Nim took his hand away without acknowledging what he'd done. Yoongi eyed him for a moment a bit questioningly before turning his attention back to the computer. It started to get pretty late when Yoongi suggested it was time they get going.

"But we have more work to do," Nim said.

"We have plenty of days to work. I have to get home," Yoongi said as he got up and grabbed his backpack. Nim stood up and grabbed him, "I said we have more work to do. You're not going anywhere. We need this to be perfect, which means we work as much as possible."

Yoongi was a bit taken back by the statement. It was late, he was hungry and tired, and had started to miss his members. He simply wanted to go home. He took out his phone and started texting Jin to come pick him up when Nim snatched his phone from him.

"Hey, give that back. What are you doing?" Yoongi pouted. "I know you want it perfect but it's time to call it a night."

Nim walked up to Yoongi and got in his face, "We will be finished when I say we're finished." His tone was extremely threatening and it made Yoongi nervous. Nim put Yoongi's phone in his own pocket, refusing to give it back. The rapper saw the threatening gaze from Nim and couldn't help but feel nervous.

"So get your ass back in that chair, and let's get to work," Nim said. Yoongi nodded nervously and made his way back to the chair.

Not too long after that they were both surprised to hear a knock on Yoongi's studio door. They were wondering who would possibly be there at this hour. Nim got up to get it and it was Jin.

"Oh you guys are still here," Jin said as he made his way in. Yoongi didn't realize how absolutely happy he'd be to see his hyung. He felt rescued.

"What are you doing here, hyung?" Yoongi asked.

"Well it was getting late and you weren't answering your phone so we all got worried. I said I'd come check on you. You should come home now Yoongs it's late. Have you even eaten dinner yet?" Jin asked. He was very protective over all of his dongsaengs.

The rapper shook his head, he hadn't eaten yet and was starving. He didn't give Nim time to protest the gesture. He immediately got up and grabbed his bag, demanded his phone back, and escorted Nim out of his studio. He was more than ready for Jin to bring him home. When they got home everyone seemed to have waited up for him, telling him how they got nervous when he wasn't picking up anyone's calls. He lied and said he'd lost track of time and was so focused that he forgot to check his phone. Jimin made sure Yoongi ate dinner.

The next day while working with Nim in the studio, he screamed at Yoongi about the previous night. Calling him disrespectful and how he hadn't "respected my wishes."

"I'm sorry," Yoongi pouted. Although he really wasn't. Nim pushed Yoongi backwards into the studio wall and trapped him there. "You listen to me, you little brat. When I tell you this needs to be perfect, I mean perfect. You will do as I say. Do you understand me?" Nim spat.

Yoongi shoved Nim off of him, "What the hell is your problem? We're both working on this. I don't have to do everything you say. I'm allowed to have some say in this project too."

Nim immediately gave Yoongi a backhanded smack across the face and the rapper winced in pain, clutching his stinging cheek in his hand. He felt tears welling up in his eyes. He wondered who the hell this guy thought he was.

"Don't make me change my mind about working with you," Nim threatened. Yoongi didn't know what to say or do at that point. It was his absolute dream to work with Nim and he knew if they collabed they'd create a hit. Should he just shut up and obey, or risk losing this collaboration? He wasn't sure. He figured the most he could do right now was ask Nim to at least not smack him. Nim rolled his eyes and went back to the computer.

Unfortunately, the mistreatment only got worse.

Every time the two would work together Nim would get more aggressive and violent. One night Nim even freaked out so badly that he picked up a piece of Yoongi's studio equipment and threw it at the wall, breaking it. The rapper completely broke down. He really was trying his best and trying to listen, but Nim was never satisfied or happy. Nothing was good enough for him.

Yoongi considered ending the project with Nim, he was sick of the abuse, but once he expressed that to Nim, Nim punched him in the chest so hard he ended up collapsing onto the floor and crying.

"You were considering ending this collaboration, how can you be angry about me wanting to end it?!" Yoongi cried from the floor. Without replying, Nim walked over to him and started kicking him in the ribs and stomach, making him gasp for air and cry for mercy.

"Please stop! Stop! That hurts! I won't end the project! I swear!" Yoongi pleaded as he clutched his stomach in agony. He thought of his members and how badly he wanted them, but also thought about how he'd done nothing but lie to them lately telling them he was having a great time working with Nim. He lied because he didn't want any of them to worry. He figured they all had enough to deal with in their own lives, he might as well endure this on his own.

What he wasn't aware of was the fact that his members had already grown a bit suspicious. Although he said he was having a great time, they were aware of the constant late nights and exhaustion. They were aware that he had become somewhat irritable and moody. He also didn't like physical touch anymore, rejecting hugs and cuddles. He'd also become a bit nervous and skiddish, flinching whenever a member would raise their arms around him.

One night Jungkook had asked Yoongi if everything really was okay, how they'd noticed these changes and Yoongi claimed it was just because he was a bit stressed out over the collab, but he swore he was having fun.

"If you're having so much fun then why are you always so tense and angry?" Jungkook pouted.

"I'm not," Yoongi protested.

"Are too!" Jungkook protested back. Yoongi told his maknae he didn't have time to argue and he headed off to bed. The maknae let it go.

The next day during dance practice Nim had appeared in the room claiming that him and Yoongi had to work a bit earlier than usual. Yoongi tensed up and looked at Hobi, his dance leader. He was praying Hobi would say no.

"Oh, okay," Hobi replied.

"But we're practicing. I should really practice more. I'm not that good at this dance yet," Yoongi replied to Hobi.

"It's alright, we can go over the steps at home. I know how important this project is to you!" Hobi said cheerfully.

"Hobi-ah I really think I should sta-" Nim cut Yoongi off, "Lets go. We have work to do."

Yoongi obeyed and followed Nim out to his studio.

"Is it just me, or did anyone else happen to notice it didn't seem like he actually wanted to go?" Taehyung pouted. The rest of them said it did kind of seem like he was hesitant now that they thought about it.

"Something is going on with them. You don't think Nim is being mean to hyung, do you?" Jungkook asked the rest of his hyungs. "He's just been different since they started working together."

"He would tell us if something bad was happening," Jin replied.

"He might not. You know how he is sometimes. Sometimes he prefers to keep things to himself," Namjoon mentioned.

"You guys think Nim is hurting him?" Taehyung asked, frowning. He sure hoped that wasn't the case.

"We can talk to him about it tonight," Jin suggested. The members agreed.

Jimin left the dance studio to go to the bathroom when he swore he heard a crash and screaming come from Yoongi's studio. He immediately ran to it and banged on the door. Nim answered it and he immediately peered in to see Yoongi sitting at his desk with his head down.

"Can I help you?" Nim asked.

"What's going on?" Jimin asked, shoving his way past Nim to go check on Yoongi. He placed his hand on Yoongi's back and the rapper flinched away.

"Hey it's okay, it's just me. What's going on? I heard screaming and something falling," Jimin pouted. Yoongi picked his head up and although he tried to hide it, Jimin could tell there were fresh tears that had just been wiped from his hyungs eyes.

"Hyung? Talk to me," Jimin begged.

"I don't know what you heard," Yoongi lied, "Everything is fine."

"Jimin as you can see we're very busy, we can't be distracted." Nim gestured to the door, telling Jimin he needed to leave. Jimin hesitated but made his way back to the dance studio.

"I think something actually is going on. I heard screaming from hyungs studio and went in and it seemed like he was crying but Nim kicked me out," Jimin said sadly. All of the members were hit with a rush of anxiety.

"Jin hyung can you go to talk to him, now?" Jungkook asked, "You're his only hyung, maybe he'll confide in you the most."

Jin said he'd go check on things. He made his way to Yoongi's studio and banged on the door. Nim answered again.

"Now what?!" Nim said harshly.

"I need to speak with Yoongi," Jin demanded.

"It will have to wait," Nim said.

"No, it won't. I need to speak to him, privately."

Yoongi looked at his hyung curiously, wondering what on earth he'd need to speak to him about.

"We're busy." Nim tried shoving Jin away but Jin shoved him back.

"Don't forget whose company you're at, and don't forget whose little brother is sitting right there. I don't care if you're busy. You can wait. Now get out, because I need to speak to him." Jin stood his ground and Nim finally made his way out. Jin locked the studio door and made his way to sit next to his dongsaeng. He pulled Yoongi into a hug.

"What's going on?" Yoongi asked.

"Can you just be honest with me for a minute? Is Nim hurting you?" Jin asked bluntly. Yoongi was completely shocked by the sudden question and didn't know what to say.

"I..what? No..no of course not. Why? Did Jimin say something? I swear nothing happened," Yoongi lied. He really didn't want to start any conflicts right now.

Jin kept his arms tightly around his dongsaeng, whether the boy admitted it or not, Jin knew he needed a loving hug from someone.

"Please just tell me. We've all been worried about you, just tell me if he's hurting you in any way and you know I will take care of it." He heard Yoongi sniffle and he pulled away from the hug, revealing that Yoongi was trying very hard to hold in his tears.

"Really, I'm fine," Yoongi lied again. Jin sighed. He couldn't say he really believed him but if he wasn't going to get the truth out of Yoongi he figured there'd have to be some other way.

"If you say so." Jin stood up to leave and went and opened the door. When Nim came back in and walked past him, Jin whispered to him. "Just know that we're all watching you. So I'd be careful how you treat that boy." And with that Jin left back to the dance studio. Everyone asked Jin what information he got, and sadly he said he got nothing.

"Aish.." Jimin pouted.

When it was time to go home the members insisted Yoongi come, but Yoongi said he still had more work to do. They left but didn't tell him that instead of heading home, they had a plan in mind.

They were going to stay late at the company and simply sit down in the security office, watching the cameras outside Yoongi's studio.

Yoongi and Nim fought more and more. Nim was constantly hitting and grabbing the rapper harshly, screaming at him, and throwing his things. Yoongi finally had enough and as scared as he was, said he was done. He opened his door to his studio to leave and Nim came up from behind him and shoved him out the door onto the ground.

"Wait! Guys! Look!" Jungkook said pointing to the CCTV camera they were watching.

"What's he doing?" Jin asked. It seemed as though Yoongi just tripped out of his studio. To their horror, they saw Nim walk up to Yoongi who was still on the ground, grab the front of his shirt, and start punching him in the face and stomach.

"I knew it! I knew it!" Jimin screamed.

"We have to save him!" Jungkook cried. All of the members ran out of the security room and ran to save their brother. When they got to the two, Nim had already done quite a bit of damage to Yoongi's face. He had cuts and was bleeding and crying out begging for Nim to stop.

"Get your fuckin hands off him!" Namjoon screamed. All of the members ran at Nim and knocked him off his feet. Jin immediately grabbed Yoongi and pulled him into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I need help. I can't do this anymore," Yoongi cried into Jin's chest.

"Shh it's okay. Hyungs got you." Jin rubbed Yoongi's back and rocked him to comfort him. The rest of the members were so angry with Nim that they were doing the same things that Nim had done to Yoongi. Hitting him, kicking him, punching him. They were never violent people, not until someone messed with one of their own.

"You think you're so superior, huh?!" Taehyung screamed as he smacked Nim.

"Who the hell do you think you are putting your nasty hands on my hyung?!" Jungkook cried. Nim cried out for mercy. The members ignored his pleas. They wanted him to feel the same hurt that the man had put Yoongi through.

"See how it feels! I knew something was wrong! I knew it!" Jimin exclaimed. "Don't you ever touch him again!"

The members screamed for Nim to get up and get out of their building, and if they ever saw his face again they'd beat it in and there would be hell to pay. Nim immediately surrendered and said he'd go. He got up and frantically gathered his things, quickly running away and out through the front door.

The members ran to Yoongi's side and surrounded him in a hug. They all cried together for a little while before they bombarded him with questions.

"Why didn't you tell us?"

"Why did you lie?"

"Has it been this way the whole time?"

Yoongi admitted that he was just simply afraid to come forward with the truth because he didn't know what would happen. He told them how he'd finally given up and couldn't take it anymore, and he was so grateful that they were there to save him. He cried for a long time. He asked why they hadn't gone home and they told him because they were all too suspicious to leave him in the building alone with the guy.

"And good thing we didn't leave you, the man is crazy!" Hobi screamed. He told Yoongi how they'd been watching the cameras when they saw him get pushed to the ground .

"My guardian angels." Although he was all beat up, he couldn't help but chuckle at his own joke.

The members went on and on about how he needs to be more honest in situations like that and not worry about the outcome.

"Okay." Yoongi agreed he should have come to them sooner. "I can't believe you all beat him up." He was quite surprised. He'd never seen any of them act like that.

"You were in danger," Jungkook shrugged, "And nobody puts hyungie's in danger."

Yoongi smiled at his maknae.

"I'm sorry Yoongs but I'm declaring this collaboration officially over and as your leader you have to listen to me." Namjoon smiled. Yoongi laughed, that was absolutely no problem for him.

"I'm sorry things didn't work out. Who knew he'd turn out to be an abusive asshole," Taehyung said.

Yoongi shrugged, "I guess some people just are." He was quite sad about it. He couldn't believe he looked up to someone for so long who acted like that, but any admiration for the man had quickly died out.

Jimin kissed Yoongi on the forehead, "We should get home and get you cleaned up. You're bleeding."

The members helped Yoongi to his feet and brought him home. Jin and Jungkook worked on making a huge dinner while the rest of them tended to the rappers wounds.

After dinner they decided to watch a movie together and for the first time in what seemed like forever, Yoongi was open to hugs and cuddles from his members. Their second oldest hyung was already back to being himself, and they were never going to let anyone scare or hurt him again.
