So since the show is over *internally crying right now actually*, I think you would like me (not? ooh-kaaayyyyy then >.<) sharing my favourite performances, some thoughts about the contestants especially the winners and other random thoughts I have about the show.

Favourite Performances

Throughout the show, there are some particular performances that I really really really love, starting from the first up to the last episode.

Episode 1 - Kim Juna's "Who You Are" performance

Powerful vocals, I thought to myself. I think nobody wouldn't agree that this is one of the best performances by company among all the trainees who performed. This is also the time where Kim Juna earned my respect to her as a singer/vocalist.

Episode 1 - Pledis Girls' "Bang" Performance

At first I only supported these girls because they are in the same company as SEVENTEEN (which by the way, if you still haven't noticed through my profile picture, is one of my bias groups) but dang! They are amazing! When the music started and they began performing, I asked myself, and may be you did too, "Is it a requirement for PLEDIS' artists and trainees to perform this song?" Another thing I liked about these girls is that no one among them lacks skills. THEY ARE ALL SO GOOD!! Even if the 7 of them just debut together, they would be just perfect!

Episode 1 - Jeon Somi's "Lips Are Movin'" Performance

I was really upset when Somi didn't make it in SIXTEEN. But when news came out that she is joining Produce 101, I knew this time she'll make it. I was so happy when I saw her first performance after SIXTEEN. She has been doing well since she was in SIXTEEN and we all knew that she had even improved a lot when she joined Produce 101. Her joining Produce 101 was actually one of the reasons I wrote this book. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS SOMI FOR MAKING IT IN TOP 11!! (and being FIRST Place!)

Episode 2 - Star Empire Trainees' "Cinderella" Performance

This would be the performance by company that I will never forget. Their vocals and blending are daebak! Plus they're so cute!! I really really loved Hyeri in this performance!!. I just hope that the other two girls' skills were shown more in the show as well (like Hyeri) because all of them have amazing vocals and cute personalities!

Episode 3 - Classy's (Chungha, Yumi, Sira, Sujin & Shin) "Push Push" Performance

One word, DAEBAK! They performed it like it was their own song! Stage presence is no joke too. This was also the time when I started to stan on chungha and shin. Congrats to chungha who made it in TOP 11! I really think she is going to be their main dancer. And I hope Shin goes back to her old group and promote too, or debut with another group:))

Episode 4 - Team 1's (Sejeong, Sohye, Hayi, Yeji & Yubin) "Irony" Performance

One thing I would never forget about this performance is Sejeong's vocals. It was so pleasing to the ears that she doesn't have to do a high note just to say that she's a good singer. Although Sohye kinda forgot the lyrics (that's okay hunnie, you made it the Top 11 anyway, and congrats!), I think the performance is still perfect! All the other members performed really well and like Classy's performance, they performed it like it was their song.

Episode 6 - Position Evaluation "Me Gustas Tu" Performance (by Siyeon, Haerim, Hyeri, Haein & Taeha)

I thought this was actually better than the original! I loved Hyeri's part at the beginning, t'was so cute!! It was so pleasing listening to it, almost like a lullaby. Again, these girls does not have to do a really high note just to acknowledge their amazing vocals. Well done girls:))

Episode 7 - Avengers' Team 2 (Somi, Yoojung, Chungha, Doyeo, Dani, Eunbean & Seokyung) "Bang Bang" Performance

Although needless to say, this would be one of the best performances in the show, no doubt. Energy, synchronisation, stage presence, name it! They all have it. And I would say this is the real Avengers' Team in Produce 101.

Episode 9 - All Concept Evaluation Performances

The songs, the dances and the whole performances were stuck in my head even until now. ALL OF THEM! For me, all these 5 performances should have been first. (not pertaining to the songs only but the whole performances themselves).

Reviews

They said Mnet was biased in terms of the screen times for these girls. I can't say I agree nor I disagree. Maybe some did have a lot of screen time, some just had enough, and the others maybe just got lesser than the others. I just wished Mnet showed all the performances by company, cos the ones who had theirs shown on Episodes 1 & 2 were the ones who made it on the higher ranks while the other trainees' performances that weren't shown were the ones who got the lower ranks and were eliminated even on the Top 65 cut.

I don't think I have anything more to say except this: Someday, these girls will debut. That's for sure. See how the companies were one by one showing teasers of these girls' debut? That's just the beginning. Even the eliminated ones, for sure we will see them very soon when they debut, and when that happens, they are surely better than what they were when this show started. I think Produce 101 has also became a way to introduce the future of kpop girl groups. Although they might not be that good now, who knows? They might be even bigger and better than the girl groups today. And for sure, when these girls debut, they will surely gain popularity and attention from people, just like how they captured the nation's producers' hearts in this show.

I'm still not over the fact that this show has already ended, I will surely miss it! It's still fresh in my mind how I always have a paper and a pen beside me when I watch every episode especially every announcement of rankings, just so I can write as much information I could and put on this book. But the good news is...Produce 101 will have FOUR Special Episodes before the official debut of the group!! *copies pinky's hand rolls*
