Chapter 7

After the song finished, the usual round of applause erupted. Some gave a standing ovation, some even smiled, some even whistled. I'm not surprised. After all, I did go through this routine everyday.

When I bowed to each part of the stage, I saw someone special out of the corner of my eye. The Blondie, smiling while clapping politely. I almost cracked a grin but quickly stopped myself. His eyes were sparkling with delight. I was glad he enjoyed my concert.

After a couple of hours, a few other famous musicians played and then the closing ceremony had occurred. There were the occasional tedious speeches and the dedications but it seemed to go so fast today. How come? I was usually bored and tired at these times but something kept my energy up and had accelerated my heart rate.

And without realizing, my eyes darted to Blondie, who was unexpectedly looking at me too. I gave him a small smile while he immediately gave me one back. My heart fluttered.

When everyone had taken their bow, the audience members scattered and headed to the after party. I was still in my dressing room, packing up my violin and picking up the flute I had dropped earlier. I analyzed it carefully and frowned when there was a small scratch on the silver.

"Shit, I'm dead now," I mutter to myself before stuffing it back inside it's case.

"Such foul words for an elegant musician," a smooth clear French accent came from behind me.

The corners of my lips automatically curled up as I looked back.

"Blondie."

His blonde hair covers one of his violet strange eyes as he smiles. "Do you mind if I was your partner for the party?"

I shake my head. "Just give me a minute to get ready."

He nods and closes the door for me. I quickly throw my flute case to the couch and get to my wardrobe. There were plenty of dresses and shoes but none fit my taste. I decided to rip the bottom seam of the dress I was currently wearing and cut the sleeves off.

Eventually, the dress didn't seem half bad. I did train for dress making. Finishing my hair, I opened the door and saw Blondie.

Along with six other people. Oh, shit.

That's the famous host club.
