"Hey! (H/C)! Wait! Ugh why are your legs so long?!" (P/C) called out to one of (his/her) best friends. The brown haired (boy/girl) turned around, watching as (his/her) friend ran up to (him/her), panting heavily. "What's up?" (H/C) greeted, admiring how (his/her) friend's natural caramel highlights showed prominently through (P/C) 's ebony hair.

"What're your plans for Valentine's Day?" (P/C) asked, taking (H/C) aback. The child of hades had a crush on the short (P/C) for a while, not knowing (his/her) bright-eyed friend returned (his/her) feelings. (H/C) had been thinking about asking (P/C) to a date that day, but was on the fence about it. (He/She) wondered if (P/C) actually shared (his/her) feelings, but decided not to get (his/her) hopes up

"I don't have any plans. Why do you ask?" (H/C) replied cooly.

"Oh, ok," (P/C) replied, secretly happy (his/her) friend/crush didn't have a date. "I don't have plans either. If you want, we could spend it together. As friends."

"Sounds fun. I'll come to your cabin at seven," (H/C) shouted over (his/her) with a smile, turning around to walk off.

"Okay. Also, bring The Grinch!" (P/C) yelled, referring to their favourite movie they watched together all the time, regardless of whether or not it was Christmas time. [the animated version not the live remake]

"Okay!" (H/C) turned around so (he/she) were walking backwards for a bit to yell, sending a smile at (P/C) before turning back around, making (his/her) way to lessons with Nico.

Timeskip to after the movie

The Grinch gave his toast, the movie ended and the credits started rolling. (H/C) switched off the monster-proof TV, yawning.

"You wanna stay over and have a sleepover? Will and Nico are doing gods know what in my cabin, but I know that if I see any of that mushy stuff I'm gonna throw up"

"Sure. As long as we can snuggle" (P/C) agreed. People were used to this by now. Nico couldn't even begin to count the number of times he'd found (H/C) and (P/C) snuggled together on (his/her) [referring to (H/C)] bunk, snoring softly when he went to bed. (H/C) wasn't very comfortable in Cabin 3. Percy kept glaring at them. But Percy was staying in Cabin 6 with Annabeth that night, so (H/C) sighed.

"Come here" (he/she) was not comfortable with physical contact with people, other than a few trusted friends, but opened (his/her) arms, wrapping them around (P/C) as (he/she) [referring to (P/C)] snuggled into (H/C) 's chest, tracing circles into the (H/C)' s stomach.

"Night Dolphin" (H/C) mumbled.

"Night my Ghost (King/Queen)" (P/C) mumbled, falling asleep to the steady drum of (H/C) 's heart beat and the sound of (his/her) breathing.
