Band Music
So I'll tell you guys about the songs my band plays and will be playing soon.
Songs I Knew How to Play
1. Arabian Dances by Roland Barrett: some kind of Indian song
2. Ukraine Bell Carol by Richard L. Saucedo: an amazing Christmas song. I think Ukraine would like this
3. Call to Victory by Karl L. King: an American march that I get annoyed so much. I'm sure Alfred would love this
4. Kamehameha by William Owens: another kind of Indian song that I was supposed to play for the Winter Concert
5. Secret Agent Sugar Plum by Peter I. Tchaikovsky: a remake of the Sugar Plum Fairy with a spy kind of thing. It replaced Kamehameha for a reason.
6. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer by Johnny Marks and arranged by Michael Sweeney: a song we had to play for the fifth graders, if you guys remember from the first book.
Songs I'm Know How to Play Now
1. España Cañi by Pascual Marquina: a happy, somewhat Spanish song. I know that Juan and Antonio would love it
2. Fortress by Frank Ticheli: it's just a medium paced mixtured song.
3. Songs of Old Kentucky by Brant Karrick: a song in two movements
-John Riley (Mov. I): the first movement about a girl who's missing her true love for seven years. It has some parts of Wayfaring Stranger)
-Barn Dance (Mov. II): the second movement, happier. It has Sourwood Mountain, Frog Went-a-Courtin, and Loving Hannah
4. Jungle Dance by Brian Balmages: I don't know how to describe it XD
Songs I Kinda Know How to Play
1. Nightfall by Brian Beck: a mysterious commission piece. My band will play this piece in two weeks at Peak Festival
Songs I Will Play in the Future
1. I Am by Andrew Boysen Jr: a piece about a tenor saxophonist's death years ago
There is one more I will play in the future, but it is by choice out of the three. (People's Choice, remember?)
You can search and listen to all of these songs except Nightfall. Of course, no one's ever heard of it. XD
