Hiccup POV -

Its been a month since Astrid has started chemo, and its been pretty much normal, other than the side affects of nausea and few other ones. Today is Christmas, and we just opened our presents. 

Astrid was getting ready to go and take a walk through the snowy park here in L.A. I hear a grunt from the bathroom.

"Whats wrong?" I ask as I enter.

"Hair thinning! I'm going to look terrible." she mumbles, tears appearing in her eyes. I hug her and kiss her.

"You look beautiful. You're unique, okay? There's nothing wrong with that. Don't doubt yourself." 

Astrid looks up at me with those ocean eyes, a smile appearing on her face. "I really needed that." she whispers.

We both put on our boots, coats and hats and head for the park. There is quite a bit of snow, which is unusual for California.

"Lets go to the skating rink!" she squeals as she runs towards the ice. I follow her and we both put on ice skates.

We skate for hours and we are having the best time. This is the happiest I've seen her in weeks. I then suddenly knew what to do.

Astrid POV - 

Me and Hiccup were skating and it was the best time! I did a few swerves and skated back to Hiccup where we crashed. We both got up laughing. Then he did the unexpected.

DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNn
