"We will kill you now".

The man who had grabbed me said confidently.

I looked at the man and then at James and finally at Alex.

They both were silent.

"I don't understand why you both are silent. Just kill her or I will. She just witnessed everything which makes her a threat", He said annoyed.

Still, both of them stood there silently.

"Ok fine then, I will do it", The man said and he grabbed me.

But Alex took a hold of the guy's hand and pushed him.

"You won't touch her", He shouted at him. His voice sends chills down my body.

"I want all of you out of here now", He shouted at them.

All of them except James and Alex hurried out of there.

His voice made a person go far away from there to just get away from him. His voice was scary.

He radiated power. This also scared me and as I tried to move away from him, I stumbled and fell on the ground.

James quickly got down to help me up.

"Don't you dare touch me", I said. My voice filled with hate.

I was scared but that doesn't mean I will let him touch me.

For the first time after a long moment of silence, James spoke.

"Bella just let me help you. This is all just a bad dream. Once you take up everything will be alright", He said softly.

I scoffed.

"I wouldn't even have a bad dream like this", I said as I looked at Alex and he perfectly understood what I meant.

He came and sat next to me. This made me remember the last time he is that. It was when he was going to shoot the man. I automatically mined backwards.

" Belle", he said my name as he raked his fingers through his hair. "I don't know what to say to you. I didn't even want you to see all this. I know you are scared but please believe me when I say I won't hurt you".

"Of course, I believe you. I am not blind you know? I just saw a murder which was committed by you? But you know what? I still believe you won't kill the witness you wanted dead a moment ago". My voice was filled with anger and sarcasm.

"Belle it's not what it looks like", James said.

'As I said, I am not blind and I know what happens when you shoot someone", I said. "And I will never believe whatever you have to say".

I looked at Alex.

"I thought I know you, but time proved me wrong. I won't let you get away with this", I said as I stood up and ran away from them.

If whatever I saw today was true then this means that this is not the first time they have done this. They kill people and that is against humanity and as a future lawyer and a law-abiding citizen, I won't let that happen. Even if it is my brother who did it.

I heard them shout behind me bit I concentrated on the way. This place this filled with their men. I have to escape here or God knows what will happen.

I ran and reached the entrance to the park.

The car was still there and the men who were there with Alex and James were standing beside the car.

If I have to get past them, I need to run fastly without making any noise. And that too quickly as Alex and James will be behind me.

I removed my shoes and ran.

Unfortunately, they saw me.

I ran as fast as I could. I felt a stone pierce my feet but I didn't mind it. I have to reach home. So I ran.

This definitely feels like in the movies. I never thought something like this would happen.

I ran. I felt the wind on my face. My feet pushed me forward. The feeling of being light. Letting the air carry me. I was starting to forget why I was running for a moment.

When you enjoy running, it doesn't make you tired instead it increases the urge to run faster.

I had reached my destination. Little bit dramatically.

I ran towards my door and opened it.

But...

"Ya not happening"

Oh great, she got caught!

Now, what will happen?

Is Alex really a murderer?
