Surprise!
Today, May 20th is Iruka's birthday and I wanted to make a chapter to tell how her first birthday unfolded and how it ended up being May 20th because I definitely did not just pic a random date for the sake of the fan fic😂😂

"Morning Kiddo!" Hizashi chimed. He was incredibly bouncy today and it was no wonder why.

Today marked an entire year of Iruka being an Aizawa-Yamada and there was no way Hizashi wasn't going to celebrate.

"Mornin Papa." Iruka yawned as she headed to the table.

"We're going to have a blast today Iruka!"

"Why?"

"Because it's been an entire year since we've adopted you, sweety. Do you remember?"

"Um y-ya I do. What are-are we going to do?"

"Well, first you're going to eat up some breakfast before Hizashi fawns over you anymore." Shota walked in and ruffled his daughter's hair up, giggles leaving her mouth.

"Heh morning Shota. French toast?"

"Mhmm I'd love some." Hizashi plated some french toast for all 3 of them and sat down to eat.

"Itadakimasu~" They chimed before devouring their food.

After breakfast, Iruka was told to change into something she could run in and wasn't too hot because as summer crept up on them so did the heat. Iruka happily complied, changing into a long-sleeved blue shirt made of a mixture of polyester so she wouldn't sweat bullets it in but still covered skin to not get sunburned. To match with it, Iruka wore a flowy ochre skirt.

"You look lovely today Listener," Hizashi praised as he twirled Iruka around.

"So w-what are we doing today Papa?" 

"Well first we have to wait for your dad and after that, we'll be taking the train to somewhere special."

"Where? Where?" Iruka jumped in curiosity.

"You'll see," Hizashi placed his finger on his lips as though he was keeping quiet about a secret.

After they've fed the cats sufficiently and once Shota had come downstairs they headed to the train station. Iruka spotted Nemuri and Emi chatting and she rushed over attacking them with a hug.

"Aunt Emi! Aunt Nemuri!" Iruka giggled out.

"Mornin sunshine. It's good to see you too!" Emi squeezed Iruka with a tight hug.

"What're you doing here?"

"To hang out with you today of course." Nemuri cheered.

After 20 minutes or so the group of 5 left the train station to a bus stop. Iruka wondered where all of this travelling would take them. It was rare to go anywhere outside *Shizuoka so Iruka was definitely excited to know why it took so long to get to their destination.

Eventually, Iruka's burning question had finally been answered when they reach a theme park. But not just any theme park, it was 1 of many All Might theme across Japan. Iruka's eyes turned into stars.

"Are we going here? Is this where we're were celebrating Papa?"

"Right you are Listener." Iruka bounced on the balls of her feet but stopped when she realised something.

"B-but, what about Izuku? He really wanted to go." 

"Did we ever said he wouldn't be here?" Shota raised an eyebrow.

And that's when Iruka spotted him. Her favourite green-haired friend running straight towards her.

"IRUKAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" Izuku wrapped his arms around the other, giggling as he did.

With their little reunion putting a smile on everyone's face they all headed to where Inko had been waiting for them near the ticket booth. As the littles chatted about their excitement, Shota went ahead and bought the wristbands they needed to enter the theme park.

Once they had all finally gotten into the actual theme park, Iruka and Izuku pointed at all the rides they wanted to go on, all the attractions they wanted to see, all the activities they wanted to do.

"Look at that Dad it's hugeeee." Iruka pointed at one of the larger roller coasters. 

Sure the rides had their limits but what made the theme park really special was the fact that All Might had created the park with the children who would be going there in mind. "What is the point of a theme park if not everyone can enjoy?" is what he had said to the press when the first All Might-O-Land was created.

"You can go with Hizashi on that one if you'd like," Shota suggested.

Eventually, the littles planed out their entire day. From which rides they would go on to when they would eat. Shota almost regretted giving them full reign of the day but thankfully it wasn't an unrealistic schedule they couldn't follow. Heh, perks of teaching them to be logical children.

They had started the day with attractions, walking around to see the statues and such as they waited for the day to cool down a little. After lunch they did some of the more calming activities that were sprinkled across the park and once their lunch and the sun had settled down a little they were off to the rides.

Occasionally Shota and Inko would sit them out other times they weren't so lucky. They had taken every picture they possibly could, Nemuri suggesting they make a scrap book out of all the pictures.

Eventually, they ended their day with a ride on the Ferris wheel. The view as the sun set looked incredible.

"Dad, Papa look we're so high up!" Iruka giggled when they reached the very top. "One day I'm going to fly super super super high like this."

"Nah I bet you can fly higher Sunshine."

When they reached the bottom they all decided dinner was in order before they went home.

"Ne Iruka today was so cool!"

"Ya ya. Papa said today was to celebrate um- hmmm," Iruka turned to her Papa for an answer.

"To celebrate you being adopted for a year Listener."

"Ya that!" Iruka turned back to Izuku who had a wondered look on his face.

"Ooo so like a birthday?"

"Is it like a birthday?"

"It could be your birthday kiddo." Shouta said.

"Can it? Can today be my birthday?"

"Absolutely sunshine."

"Ooo Happy Birthday Iruka!" Izuku gave her another hug, the other reciprocating with coos coming from Nemuri and Emi.

Sorry for the abrupt end Lovies but trust me there will be much more to read tomorrow.
