"Are you going to be bringing all your hoodies?"

"Wouldn't you?"

UA students had 3 days before they would all ride a bus to UA grounds to start their new dorm life.

"Is your entire wardrobe entirely hoodies or something?"

Iruka was taking the time to sort through the things she would be taking with her though it wasn't so hard considering her belongings were mostly notebooks, plushies, posters and hoodies. Shouta disagreed on it being easy.

"At least my wardrobe isn't entirely black and grey."

She was on a call with Hitoshi as she busied herself packing things around the house. Shouta and Hizashi were out convincing parents to let their students join the dorms, leaving Iruka with an empty house and about a billion boxes to mess with.

"My wardrobe is not entirely black and grey how dare you."

Hitoshi went through some of his own things as well. He joked to his parents about this feeling like he was going to college. His parents didn't need too much convincing once they saw their son glowing whenever he spoke to Iruka and Mezo, they weren't about to take UA from him like that.

"Oh come on you and Dad have basically the same fashion sense. Ugh I need to find rubber bands for my posters.

"Are you taking them all?"

"Of course. Dad said we could decorate our rooms any way we like. Oo this box will make nice under-bed storage, don'tcha think?" Hitoshi nodded.

As both Iruka and Hitoshi filtered through the things in their room Iruka heard a meow. Not thinking too much about she looked around for one of her cats to give them the attention they deserve but to no avail. She shrugged and chopped it up to her cats playing somewhere until she heard another, this time it sounded louder.

"Toshi do you hear that?"

"The meows?"

"Ya."

"You have five cats it can't be that weird- No no no no wait- shit-" Iruka looked back at her phone to see Hitoshi's getting knocked down followed by another meow. "No, you can't do that I'm on a call."

"Toshi?" The phone was finally picked up and Hitoshi leaned it against a box as he held up a black kitten.

"Surprise?"

"HITOSHI WHEN DID YOU GET A CATT AHHHHHHHHH!" Iruka squealed.

"Uh, my parents got him for me for my 16th birthday."

"And you didn't tell me?? Toshi I feel betrayed. Oh my goodness he's such a cutie ~ what's his name? Wait when was your birthday? Oh my god, Toshi I didn't know your birthday passed ahh I feel bad, Happy belated Birthday Toshi!!"

"Thanks, Iruka. Oh um my birthday is on the first of July. My parents sorta surprised me with him when we got back from I-Island."

"And you never told me?? We could've had kitten playdates. What's his name?"

"Uh, don't laugh but I named him Erasercat."

"Oh my god-" Iruka snorted as she started having a laugh attack.

"I-I said don't laugh."

"I'm sorry- I'm sorry- Ahahahahaha-"

"All Might, who's Deku to you?"

"My student, just like you." There was more to it, there had to be but Toshinori didn't seem like he was going to say anymore.

"Ya ok," Katsuki turned back and walked into their home, "Oh and thanks,"

"KATSUKI THE POLICE SAID NOT TO GO WANDERING!"

"I FUCKING HEARD YOU ALRIGHT!"

Iruka lugged her cats into the car. All of their things had been packed and sent to school a day earlier. The family of three would be taking the family car to UA way before any of the students would be arriving.

"So do you have everything packed?" Hizashi helped Iruka put the cat carriers in the car.

"Yup!"

"Did you pack all your hoodies?"

"Yes, Papa I packed everything I wanted to."

"Just making sure Listener. Oh one last thing," Iruka turned around, "Have you got the cats?"

Iruka gave him a punch to his shoulder. "Papa!"

"Iruka your classmates should be arriving soon so you should wait outside." Iruka spent the better part of her hour helping her cats and Hitoshi's get settled. Hitoshi had stopped by the day before to pass his cat to Iruka so he didn't have to lug around a cat carrier all the way to his dorm. She also helped to check in on Denki and Koji's pets who had been cared for by Miss Psyche beforehand when their things first arrived.

"Ok, Dad." She looked around to check if all her cats were accounted for. "Ok, all of you stay here alright?" Mocha, Babycino and Expresso meowed at her as she closed the door behind her and headed downstairs.

Iruka sat by the porch as she saw Tenya approach the building.

"How have you been Iida?"

"I've been doing quite well for myself. How are you?"

"I'm fine." Their greetings turned into chatter as more and more of their classmates arrived.

It was a pleasant surprise to see all of her classmates allowed back to UA. She even saw Mezo and Hitoshi as they walked past. Iruka was deep in conversation with Kyoka when she saw familiar ash blonde hair.

"Kacchan!" She ran towards Katsuki and jumped him with a hug. There was no protest, actually, Katsuki didn't make a sound as they hugged Iruka back. He did grumble a little when they both pulled back but none of their classmates said a word of the interaction besides smiles of fondness.

Eventually, Shouta walked out of the building (he had been spending his time making sure all the necessities for his students were there waiting for them).

"Given everything that has happened, I'm glad we got to bring class 1-A back together." Toru and Kyoka mentioned how their parents reacted, worried they wouldn't have been allowed to go considering they took the brunt of the gas attack. Tsuyu pointed out she was surprised the teachers were allowed to come back as well.

"I'll explain how your dorm assignments work shortly but first we haven't forgotten about the provisional license you were meant to be getting during the training camp, this is important so listen well." The murmurs that had started to rise died down as everyone's focus went back to their teachers. "Kirishima, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, Iida, Midoriya and Ito. You 6 were the ones that broke the rules and went out to rescue Bakugo that night."

Shouta let out a sigh as he watched everyone except Kyoka, Toru and Katsuki's faces change into looks of dread and fear. "And by everyone's reaction, it seems the rest of you were at least aware of their plans. Setting aside several issues I'll say it now. If it weren't for All Might's retirement, I would've expelled all of you excluding Bakugo, Jirou and Hagakure. The six of you of course but the remaining 12 of you who didn't stop them."

"Wait Sensei but-" Iruka spoke up. He said he wouldn't.

"Let me finish. You betrayed our trust even if it meant keeping your friends out of trouble which is why all of you will have to follow the rules to a T and be model students. That is all." Shouta's deadly atmosphere left them as though it were never there. "Now, look alive, enjoy your new home."

1-A didn't move nor peep a sound-

"Tch, come here." Katsuki grabbed Denki by the shirt and dragged him behind the hedges that surrounded the building. Everyone watched as sparks flew around and in seconds Katsuki came back revealing a Denki in his Wee mode.

Everyone burst out laughing, officially killing off the mood. Iruka watched as Katsuki walked over to Eijirou handing him cash to pay back for the night vision goggle he had used that night.

"Katsuki you didn't have to do that to Kaminari."

"He didn't protest. Besides you rather I do it to you Whiskers?" Iruka let out a laugh.

Once the class had finally calmed down Shouta opened the door to their new dorms. Ooo's and Aa's were heard as everyone took everything in. Katsuki was by the door when he felt something brush on their leg.

"Heh, good to see you too." Katsuki picked Cappucino up into his arms gaining the attention of their classmates.

"Woahh Bakugo is that your cat?" Toru asked.

"Heh, it might as well be."

"Aww hello, kitty~" Ochaco cooed as she petted Mocha who sprawled himself on the kitchen counter.

"Ahh! I could've sworn I shut the door." Iruka frantically went after Mocha.

"You think doors are going to stop her?" Katsuki gestured to Cappucino.

"I'll-I'll go get them back in my room."

"Aww, but I want to play with them some more," Mina whined.

"I mean why not just let them roam around?" Hanta asked.

"Could I?" Iruka turned to Shouta.

"As long as everyone is fine with it. And while we're on the topic of pets, any mess your pets make, you are responsible for it." Shouta showed them around the first floor which had a kitchen, bathrooms, lounge, laundry room as well as a gym.

There was a notice board with the floor plan as well as their room assignments. There was also a grocery list for everyone. Shota explained that although the kitchens were fully equipped and filled with basic foods, if any of them were to have specific allergies or specific dietary needs that required ingredients that haven't already been supplied then they would have to write on the grocery list and every weekend someone would go out to buy it. ("Can we request snacks?" "Yes, you may.")

Everyone had spent the day settling into their new homes. Iruka's room was on the 4th floor (bless the functioning elevator) in between Ochaco and Mina. After discussing with her classmates Iruka placed a litter box by the laundry room, one in Katsuki's room and one in her own room. After that and decorating her room Iruka found herself flopped on the couch in the lounge by 5.

Eventually, boredom got the best of her and she headed to the kitchen. Looking through everything they had Iruka decided to shoot the group chat a text.

Class 1-A

Zoo Hey we have the ingredients to make fried salmon and miso soup Anyone else want any? Or should I just make dinner for everyone?

Before long all her classmates replied, some even coming down to help Iruka cook. Soon enough with the help of Mashirao and Ochaco, there was now rice, fried salmon and miso soup enough for all 19 of them.

"Itadakimasu!"

The boys were downstairs at the lounge when Iruka and the girls came down. After dinner, everyone went up to finish packing though it was only a couple of hours later there was a knock on the door. Mina and the others wanted to have some fun for their first night so they went downstairs to tell the boys their plans.

"So me and the girls have been talking and-"

"We have the coolest idea!"

"Let's go around and see who has the coolest room."

The initial reaction was groans and mutters but eventually, they went up to the second floor. Even after protests from Izuku they still ended up seeing his room that was covered in hero merch (mostly of All Might of course) and so their room tours began.

Fumikage had a very dark room, for the most part, lit by candles and what Iruka would assume to be purple LEDs. Yuuga had a completely different kind of room with bright lights and mirrors scattered all over the place (Fumikage had muttered about how that would've been bad luck if he broke any of them). Mashirao, Ochaco and Rikido had pretty average rooms though Rikido had an oven where he would bake. Tenya and Momo's rooms were some of the more filled rooms, Tenya's being filled with reading material while Momo's bed had taken up the majority of the floor space.

Denki had a very diverse-looking room, with animal prints. His turtle was happy in its tank on a shelf that displayed a variety of hats ("Denki your turtle is so cuteeeee~" "Uh thanks?")2q. Koji's room was also simple but it felt inviting, especially with the pet bunny that was currently sleeping on their bed ("Can we pet 'em?" "Are you guys trying to pet everything?"). They had to skip Katsuki's room because he had turned in early so they went to Eijirou's room next. Iruka definitely got workout vibes from the looks of it.

Hanta definitely had a more warm feeling in his room. Everyone was surprised to see what Shoto's room looked like. It was incredibly traditional, much like how his room at home looked like ("Why didn't you change up what your room looks like to the one you have at home?" "I didn't find it necessary." "WAIT IRUKA WHY DO YOU KNOW WHAT TODOROKI'S ROOM LOOKS LIKE AT HIS HOUSE!?"). When they got to Kyoka's room they looked around at all the instruments that were in there. Toru's room was very pink and cutesy. There was even what looked to be a shrine on one of her shelves ("It's not a shrine it's an altar. I do witchcraft." "Woah witches exist?" "So cool.")

Mina's room was very pink as well but it definitely had a much cooler vibe rather than cutesy. When it came to Iruka's room, she had pushed her bed to a wall and a large cat cage in one corner. Just like Izuku's room, there was also some hero merch scattered around though not as much. There were also some photo frames that laid face down though when asked about it Iruka didn't reply. Tsuyu's room was another one they didn't end up going in due to them not feeling well.

At the end of it all everyone cast their votes to see who had the coolest rooms. Denki said Rikido won from bribery because he had offered them cake beforehand.

Shoto and a few others were about ready to turn in when Ochaco called for him and a few others, Iruka being one of them. Ochaco led her and everyone involved in Katsuki's rescue out of the dorms where Tsuyu stood, waiting for them.
