Iruka and Katsuki were at the train, saying goodbye to their families before they headed to the airport.

"You promise you'll call us every night?"

"Yes, Papa."

They'll be off to I-Island today. It had been arranged that all of them (at least those who weren't already going with guardians) would meet up at the airport as they all went on the same flight.

"And you have your hero costume?"

"Yup Dad right here."

Since quirks were allowed, the students were permitted to bring their costumes to exercise their quirk use a little better or to just comfortably use their quirks at any of the attractions that would be there. 

"Good then don't cause trouble, stay safe and if anything happens call us."

"Yes Dad I know I promise."

"Oh and tell Hitoshi we said hi." Hizashi gave one last squeeze.

"Keep an eye on her for us." Shouta requested.

"Ya ya. We'll be fine uncle Shouta. Besides not like the entire goddamn class won't be going." Katsuki rolled his eyes and dragged Iruka onto their train.

Once they found themselves some seats, Katsuki fixed up Iruka's hair as she chatted about what they could do there. It was a happy routine of theirs.

Peace unfortunately was not something Katsuki could enjoy for long. Not like chaos didn't follow him everywhere. That chaos being a red and pink haired duo.

"Iruka, Bakugo heyyy!" Mina exclaimed in excitement, trying their best not to disrupt the others on the train.

"Hey, you two." Eijirou gave his classic toothy grin to the two.

Katsuki merely rolled his eyes as he went back to doing Iruka's hair.

"I didn't know you were going to I-Island Iruka. You hadn't seemed interested when Momo brought it up."

"It wasn't that I wasn't interested I just didn't know who to ask. Was a relief when Momo brought it up if I'm being honest."

"Fucking lies. This idiot is just too nice to choose between her classmates."

"Sadly he isn't wrong."

"Aww don't worry about it Iruka. No hard feelings. But who you going with? Midoriya?"

"No, he's going with a family friend. I invited Hitoshi instead."

"The one from General studies?" Eijiro asked.

"Yep."

After a bus ride, they had finally arrived at the airport and Iruka couldn't have been more excited. Katsuki would've been annoyed had it been anyone else but he didn't have the heart to tell Iruka to calm down. This was her first time in the airport and it would be her first time flying and they weren't gonna snuff her excitement.

Iruka and Hitoshi had already designated an area to wait for each other since they would be arriving at different times. So when Iruka spotted him her excitement grew tenfold.

"You're excited." Hitoshi stated.

"Yup yup! I've never been on a plane, never had the chance and now we're flying so far outt."

"We should probably check in our luggage and head to the gate. Don't want to accidentally miss our flight." Eijirou suggested and they all nodded. Mina had texted in the group chat to inform the others where she would be since they were waiting at a different part of the airport.

Waiting in airports could be a bore half the time, especially with all the waiting. 

Not for Iruka though. She had convinced Hitoshi to walk around a bit so they could explore. He didn't really stop her from dragging him around, not every day one gets to be in an airport let alone on a plane.

Speaking of planes. When they finally boarded, Hitoshi suggested Iruka take the window seat and he take the middle seat (he hated the idea of being squished but he wasn't going to say that). Iruka being Iruka took him up on his offer and didn't regret it the entire time the plane was in the air. It was interesting to be so high up in the air without the feeling of the wind smacking your face.

Upon arrival, all of them grouped back up (Their seatings had been scattered in the plane so they couldn't talk to each other much) and chatted away as they waited for their luggage. Some of them, like Ochaco, Iruka and Tsuyu, rambled about how exciting or scary their first time flying was.

There was discussion among them about what they would be doing to kick start their holiday. Hitoshi hadn't found it necesary to rush through everything, they had 3 days after all, so as much as he didn't want to damper the mood he did want to bring his thoughts to light.

"Well, me and Hitoshi are going to check in to our hotel room." Iruka waved her classmates goodbye.

He was greatful when Iruka agreed. So unlike their peers, the two friends decided to relax a bit at the hotel.

It wasn't surprising for the top 4 students in the sports festival to all be situated in the same hotel though Iruka wouldn't see them until the ball since they had all opted to check the many attractions on the island.

The room they would be sleeping in was decently sized. There was a queen-sized bed a side table on each side, a lamp on top of them. At the end of the room was a couch pressed up against the floor to ceiling window.

"I CALL DIBS ON THIS SIDE OF THE BED!" Iruka called out as she rushed to flop onto the side of the bed closest to them.

"You can take the bed I'll just be sleeping on the couch." Hitoshi lugged his bag over before face planting into the cushions.

"What??? Come on Toshi. You can have this side if you want. You'll have a sore neck if you sleep on the couch and you can't exactly enjoy yourself with a stiff neck."

"I'm not going to have a sore neck," Hitoshi looked at Iruka to reassure her only to get smacked by a pillow. "What was that for?!"

"I just wanted to show you how comfy the pillows are." She shrugged, an innocent smile plastered on her face.

Hitoshi grabbed the couch pillow and threw it smack dab centre of Iruka's face, wiping away her innocent smile.

"Toshi that pillow felt like a brick how are you even going to sleep with a brick pillow?"

"A hero must be resourceful so I'll make do with- oof." Another pillow disrupting Hitoshi's "heroic" speech sent Iruka into a fit of giggles "Ok that's it!" Hitoshi grabbed a pillow and started to chase Iruka around the room.

Iruka shrieked before an all-out pillow war took place in their room. Thankfully they were careful enough not to accidentally destroy anything in the room.

By the end of it, all Iruka and Hitoshi were flopped on the bed giggles still filling the room. Once they had calmed down a little they decided it was time to enjoy the expo before it opened to the public. Iruka changed into her hero costume beforehand as it would be best if they were to do anything quirk related

After a quick stop to the ice cream store ("Toshi you can literally have motor oil as an ice cream flavour come onnn.") They headed to a kind of simulation join that had a sign saying villains on the top. The two walked as the stadium shook. Iruka spotted Eijirou and rushed to the railing to get a better look.

"Damn that was cool."

"Ito? Shinso?" Iruka turns to see Momo and some of her other classmates. Even Izuku was there with another girl.

"Oh hey guys! How's the expo so far?"

"Really cool. Melissa was just showing us around till we came here." Ochaco gestured to the blond next to Izuku.

"Well it's nice to meet you, Melissa," Iruka smiled before she looked back down to see Katsuki getting ready. He shot up with a blast and took down the robots in 15 seconds.

Eijirou took notice of his classmates who were above and so did Katsuki.

"The hell are you extras doing here?" Katsuki shouted jumping onto the railing. They start yelling at Izuku to beat him. The goal was to immobilize the robots in any way possible as quickly as possible. Izuku manages to get do it in 16 seconds, landing him in second place.

"Heh I'm the one about to beat your score Kacchan, watch me." Iruka grinned before she jumped down.

"We have a new challenger jumping down last minute." Amplifier announced. She counted down and like Katsuki Iruka shot up to the sky, just high enough to see the entire arena. Iruka changed her wings into tentacles and grabbed every single robot as she fell back down. Iruka pulled the robots towards herself and transformed into a tiny fruit fly, making the robots simultaneously smash into each other.

"Woah she took first place with 10 seconds." Iruka landed on the platform sticking her tongue out to Katsuki who was pissed.

As Iruka danced her victory danced Shoto enters the arena and surprised everyone by eliminating all the robots via ice glacier in 14 seconds, putting him in second and Katsuki in third, pissing the blond off even further.

"Woah your class is incredible. I'm sure all of you will become incredible heroes." Melissa commented making them all blush a little.

"Well isn't there more to explore?" Iruka asked turning to the others. Melissa laughed lightly and dragged them around the expo.

The day slowly eased to an end, the sun shining its last rays for the day.

Tenya had arranged for those who would be going to the party to meet up at the lobby so they all headed back to their hotel rooms to get changed.

Iruka and Hitoshi took turns changing in the bathroom. Even though their trip to the mall was a bust they thankfully did get formal wear, Hitoshi wearing his father's old suit and Iruka wearing the dress she got for her birthday paired with a cream short bodice cardigan.

"You need help with that?" Hitoshi offered when he saw her struggling to brush her hair.

"Ya." Hitoshi walked over and took the brush from Iruka. "Sorry about this Toshi I could've sworn I used enough conditioner."

"Maybe it isn't the amount of conditioner you used more so the type of hair you have."

"Type of hair? Well, it's a poofy mess for sure."

"Or it could be wavy like mums or loose curls."

"You think I have wavy hair?"

"Well it acts like mum's hair and she's always groaning about how much a pain it is. If you want I could have mum look at it, might help with it looking like a poofy ball." Iruka hummed in agreement.

After a few minutes of the two struggling to put Iruka's hair in a bun they gave up and Iruka settled for a high ponytail, mumbling about how Katsuki would kill her for not styling it better.

Ngl life is getting more and more hectic. Everytime I see one of you comment (cause I read em alll) it makes the chaos good chaos.
