"I can't believe the holidays are starting so soon." Tooru hummed.

"Too bad we won't get to travel too far because of camp," Eijirou commented.

"Well as much as it is a bummer I can't travel, the training camp is much more important and we don't want to end up getting stuck somewhere," Momo said, wondering what else she could do before the camp.

"Well if we got stuck somewhere we could just have All Might fly us back or something, He has a private plane doesn't he?" Denki joked.

"Why don't we go swim at the school pool this weekend?" Mina suggested as she turned to the girls.

The girls nodded along in agreement. They didn't often hang out outside of school much but hey why not start now. Summer was meant to be a time with friends and for fun wasn't it? And Shota's training camp was definitely going to be brutal.

With finals over their school days have become more relaxed, except for practicals but no one was complaining(maybe Katsuki but of course he is). Like their last Art Class with Hina were just them taking pictures of each other for their year-long scrapbook project. For their Botany class with Dr Fleur, they had made flower crowns. She said it was meant to relax them and while the girls and a few of the boys gladly made flower crowns there were some(like Katsuki) who didn't understand the point of it until Tooru and Iruka practically made a flower lasso and tied him to a chair.*

All in all, it was a pretty relaxing week...

There is no such thing as a relaxing week when it comes to 1-A.

Everyone was in the changing room to get ready for practicals, the girls talking about nothing until Iruka caught a wif of someone she despised the most. Iruka bared her teeth walking to the door.

"Mineta I have had it with you!" Iruka yelled out as she shoved Mineta to the wall. "You harras us, you stalk us and now you want to walk into the girl's locker room like you own the place?!"  She shoved Mineta into the hall, closing the door behind her. "Scram you freak." Iruka spat before walking to the gym, making sure someone had locked the door to the locker room from the inside.

When everyone arrived at the gym the girls stood in a group with Iruka between them and the boys.

"Today we will be doing 1 on 1 combat. Ito I'll have you and Mineta go first. Quirks are permitted." Shota announced. Iruka smirked as Mineta squeaked but there was no escaping this. "Each round is 5 minutes, either have your opponent on the ground for 5 seconds or knock them out."

The second their battle began Iruka rushed to Mineta punching straight in the nose. Iruka didn't pay attention to the "ooos" from her classmates as she changed her hands and feet to wings and talons, grab Mineta and fling him upwards. Iruka continuously tossed Mineta around like a ragged doll only stopping to put in a good punch or 5. Eventually, Iruka got tired and time was almost up so she sent Mineta hurtling to the ground.

It took a bit for it to occur to Iruka she is about to kill her classmate so she dives straight for him, just barely making it before they crash to the ground. 

"Ito! You almost killed Mineta!" Shota shouted as Iruka got up. "Detention for quirk over usage and putting your classmate in fatal danger."

"Wait hold on I'm the one who gets detention when he's the one who's been harassing us for months?"

"That isn't what I said and do not bring your personal issues into fights." Bad choice of words Shouta.

"I'm sorry you're telling me that I'm getting detention for using my quirk in a quirk fight during hero training that is supposed to teach us to fight villains?!" Iruka yelled, furious at how Shota was defending Mineta. Her face started to be covered in scales. "What, am I not allowed to defend myself?" Iruka's legs changed to that of an alligator's to intimidate Shota.

"Ito don't make me erase your quirk." Her quirk was getting out of hand, her hand turned to tiger's skin, with her shoulders covered in feathers.

"Do it. Do it I dare you." Iruka glared at him. Challenging him to do it. She waited for the helpless feeling but it never came.

"How would you feel if your daughter got harassed on the daily right under your nose. How would you feel knowing your daughter got sexually assaulted by her own classmate. But oh wait you don't fucking have one do you? Because you don't seem to think about these kinds of things!"**

"Iruka that is uncalled for!" Tenya yelled.

"You call yourselves heroes but have you ever tried to stop him? Have you ever tried to see that what he was doing was wrong? No, you haven't so I don't see why any of you are any better than him." Iruka pointed at the boys as she spoke every last word like it was poison. Iruka stormed out of the gym, leaving her class in a deafening silence.

"Class dismissed," Shota spoke up but he didn't look at them, hadn't even moved from his last position. "Kirishima take Mineta to Recovery Girl. The rest of you head to class." Shota walked out without another word.

No one moved until Tenya spoke up, or more accurately spoke down as he bowed his head towards the girls.

"Forgive my tardiness as your class president. I had a duty to keep Mineta out of trouble but I still failed to do so."

"Ya, we're all really sorry. What Ito said was right and we're no better than he is." Mashirao said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Thank you. For apologising. We all appreciate it." Momo spoke up. "But I think Kirishima should get Mineta to Recovery Girl and we should get to class." Everyone solemnly nodded and did just that.

Iruka was curled up on a couch in the teachers' lounge, hugging one of the stuffies that were there. She had stormed in and plopped herself onto the couch, leaving no room for conversation as she did so.

"Iruka it's not that I don't enjoy seeing you but what are you doing here?" Midnight asked.

"Just tired. It's nothing." Iruka turned away, snuggling into the couch.

"Well, I doubt that. Want to talk about it?" Iruka shook her head. "Ok want a hug?" A nod.

Midnight picked her up and placed her on her lap as Iruka buried her face into her plush. Midnight hummed a soft tune as she cradled Iruka in her arms. She could feel tears dampening her outfit but she kept quiet. When the door slammed open she didn't look up until the one that had entered spoke up.

"Iruka there you are." It was Shota. He sounded worried and a little bothered. Iruka didn't say a word instead opting to hide her face away.

"Shota what happened?" Midnight asked.

"I made a mistake a big one. Iruka I was blind and I'm sorry I should've noticed sooner." Iruka peaked out a little and saw Shota kneeling to her level.

"No detention for me," Iruka mumbled.

"What?" Shota and Midnight asked in sync.

"No detention for me and Mineta gets a warning."

"You don't want him expelled?" Iruka shook her head.

"Alright," Shota sighed, "I'll give him a warning and he will be receiving detention." Iruka looked at him quizzically. "Iruka I hope you realise you still almost very severely injured a classmate because of a personal issue, meaning you put your emotions in during your fight." 

"I still don't know what's going on."

"I'll tell you another time Nemuri. Iruka would you like to stay here or go back to class?"

"I'll stay here thanks." Shota nodded and headed out.

"Did you just bribe Shota out of detention?"

"Yes and no."

The weekend of their swimming day had finally arrived. Iruka jumped headfirst into the pool, the water felt like ice as she went down deeper. When she broke the water's surface she laughed, enjoying herself.

"Come on in everyone the water feels amazing." Iruka floated across the waters without so much of a care in the world.

Tsuyu was the second to jump in, diving straight to the bottom before resurfacing. 

"You know you should be stretching before jumping in," Momo advised.

"I know that but look, " Iruka floated as she tried doing stretches in the water.

"Ooo I want to try that!" Tooru squealed but Momo grabbed hold of her swimsuit with a sigh.

"No that's not safe. Come on you to Iruka we need to do proper stretches." Iruka pouted but she complied and got out of the pool anyway.

Kyoka was setting up a small speaker for the music she'd play. Mina had joked that they should become the DJ of the day since no one wanted to get their phones wet.

Once they were all properly stretched Iruka and Tsuyu dived back into the pool.

Not long afterwards the boys arrived. It was agreed upon among them that the boys would be there for stamina training so the boys got one half of the pool whilst the girls were on the other half. Eventually, the girls got into a game of pool volleyball, even Kyoka joined in changing into a swimsuit beforehand.

"Finally decided to join us?" Mina joked

"I couldn't say no to volleyball." They retorted.

"Ooo can I join your little contest as well?" Iruka piped up.

Everyone was taking a break both from stamina training and pool volleyball. In this time the boys managed to get each other riled up enough for a competition, a race to the end of the pool.

"I don't see why not." Hanta voiced before anyone got a word in.

"It won't give us an even number to split into groups but I see nothing wrong with that," Tenya said as he split up the groups.

The teams were split into groups of 5. The first group consisted of Denki, Katsuki, Koji, Iruka and Mineta.

"I'm gonna drag you through the water Whiskers."

"You wish Kacchan."

The second Momo blew the whistle Iruka dived into the water as a dolphin and rushed to the end. She barely won as Katsuki left everyone in the dust by blasting his way to the end, though some could argue it was unfair since he didn't even touch the water.

The second group consisted of Shoto, Yuga, Hanta, Sato and Eijirou. At first, both Yuuga and Hanta were in the lead but Yuuga crashed into the other letting Shoto come in first as he slid on his ice.

The final group consisted of Izuku, Mashirao, Fumikage and Tenya. This time around the winner was swimming for one. Izuku had used his quirk to barely beat Tenya, who was surprisingly able to balance himself on the pool dividers.

And this left the last 3 finalists. Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto.

"On your marks,"

Their classmates cheered for them.

"Get set," 

All three of them activating their quirks.

"GO!" With a blow of the whistle, they pushed off and-

"Heh?"

"What happened to their quirks?"

"It's 5 pm." Everyone turned to the doors to see Shota there. "Your authorised school time is up, go home." There were protests to see how it would end but with a glare, every shut up and got changed.

"Hey kiddo how was the pool?"

"Refreshing. Dad ruined the fun though." Hizashi laughed aloud.

"Well, I hope he didn't ruin it too much. Oh, there's a letter for you on the table."

Confused Iruka peaked at said letter. There wasn't anyone who would write to her unless it was Emi but letters weren't the pro hero's style. It, the letter, turned out to be an invitation to a convention on I-Island.

"So? Who's it from."

"One of the officiators of I-Island. It says I'm being given tickets for free for the upcoming convention on the island because I was one of the top 3 during the sports festival."

"Ooo how many tickets do you have?"

"Huh just 2," Iruka was a little down about that. If her parents declined the offer of coming with her she'd have to pick 1 of her friends to not let the tickets go to waste but she didn't want to have to pick between her friends.

"Well, why not invite Hitoshi to go with you. You know take another step into the hero life with you."

"You don't want to come with me?"

"Well, I can't really leave Shota on his own, besides I have to help with the upcoming training camp." She'd have to do a good chunk of thinking but she had a week to do it so maybe she'll be ok.

"I'll have to think about it. Do you think dad will let me go?"

"Well, how long is it?"

"Just 3 days. It's next week, right when holidays start."

"I'm sure it'll be fine. Your camp is what, mid-summer? I'm sure Shota will be fine with it and if you got the tickets because you were one of the top 3 that means a good chunk of your classmates are going right?" Iruka nodded. I suppose her dad couldn't exactly say no if some of them were invited.
