Okok before we start I wanted to say that I completely forgot that Endeavour's agency include internship housing (mentioned in the manga and ep17 season 5) and I only realised this yesterday when I was watching said episode.

So yaa, just think of it as Shoto special treatment and Endeavour's distaste towards Iruka.

Ps. I was going to edit it and realised oh wait I already posted it(╥_╥)

"Did you bring your clothes?" Shota asked Hitoshi. School had just finished and Hitoshi was to follow Shota home now that the internships had officially started.

"Ya, Mr. Mic said I could leave it in the teachers' lounge instead of lugging it around school." Hitoshi explained and so to the teachers' lounge they went.

Usually at this time they would be training before they left but Shota thought that since Hitoshi would be doing internships anyways it was best to train him that way instead of making him exhausted before patrol.

The two reached the Aizawa-Yamada residence in silence seeing as neither were much of a talker. Hizashi had gone home earlier needing to cook dinner and get the guest room cleaned up.

"Tadaima." Shota said.

"Hokairi Shota, Shinso!" Hizashi called out from the kitchen.

At first Hitoshi was a little hesitant to enter but he sucked it up and walked in. It was weird walking into his teachers' home. Yes, teachers. At first Hitoshi was surprised to hear Hizashi reply but that surprise didn't last long. Hitoshi followed Shota into the house and was eventually led to the kitchen.

"Hey Little Listener!" Hizashi waved as Hitoshi walked in.

"Uh hi."

"Hizashi you're gonna scare the poor kid. Anyways no point in introduction but Shinso this is my husband Hizashi, Hizashi this is my intern for the week Shinso." Ok maybe this time Hitoshi's surprise may have lasted way longer than a few seconds. It wasn't the fact that they were married that surprised him, it was more of the hint of awkwardness in Shota's voice. I never knew Aizawa Sensei could be awkward.

"Ya you're right there wasn't a point to the introductions, he's my teacher too." Hitoshi said, keeping his cool.

"You aren't bothered we're married?" Hizashi asked.

"No not really. It's your personal life after all." Well it's true of course. Even if for some reason it bothered him, which it didn't, he had no say in their personal life.

"Well now that that's settled come on Shinso I'll show you to the room you'll be staying in." Shota said as he led Hitoshi upstairs.

Hitoshi hadn't realised it until they went up but his teachers owned a lot of cats. 5 to be exact.

"Well you'll be staying here, bathroom is at the end of the hall, toilet's next to it and there's another downstairs. Come down for dinner, we'll go out for patrol at 8." Shota explained.

"Um Aizawa Sensei could I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"So I wasn't sure if I should've brought my school books since you said I still had to go to school so I brought my exercise books but not my textbooks. Do you think the teachers would be bothered if I didn't have my textbooks for the week?"

"I have textbooks you can borrow for now so don't worry about it." With that Shota left heading downstairs. At first Hitoshi questioned why they would have every other textbook but then he realised they were teachers but then he realised again that still didn't add up so he stopped thinking so hard about it.

"Hey Shinso come join us." Hizashi called out as Hitoshi went down the stairs. "Hope you like tempura Listener. I didn't really know what to make you"

"Anything is fine really." Hitoshi sat opposite his teachers as they all ate in almost silence. Almost because Hizashi was talking about how his day went while the other two stayed silent.

"Oh right Shinso before you and Shota go out for patrol I wanted to tell you somethings," Hizashi said, receiving a nod in reply. "There are snacks in the kitchen so help yourself to anything you like but you are forbidden from eating the ice-cream. We have 5 cats and they might occasionally appear in your room, hope they aren't a bother."

"No they're not. I like cats." Just then a brown and white cat meowed next to him.

"Well in that case finish up and go on doing whatever homework you have. I don't want you staying up later after patrol. You brought clothes for patrol right?" Shota asked. Hitoshi didn't have a proper hero suit, just his capture gear that Shota had given him.

"Does a black hoodie, dark blue mask and dark pants count?"

"Those will do for now.

For the most part they had spent the day patrolling Hosu. To Endeavor's disappointment the hero killer Stain was nowhere to be seen nor were there any sightings of the man that day.

The entire time Endeavor had his attention more towards Shoto and his sidekicks than Iruka. She felt as though she was third wheeling them all or something but she didn't think too much of it. Even when they were fighting some low level villains Iruka was always a second thought to Endeavor.

Eventually they headed back to the agency. There Iruka and Shoto ate dinner in the dining hall where all the staff members would eat and headed up. The two were to stay in one of the many rooms in the building. Of course Shoto knew exactly which one.

He led Iruka to a meeting room. Surprisingly it was connected to another room and there was a bathroom also connected there.

"You can take a shower first." Shoto said, as he placed his bag on the large meeting table. Iruka didn't protest and took her towel and pajamas to the bathroom so she didn't have to run in a towel to the room in front of Shoto, not that he would notice though.

After a very relaxing bath, Iruka came out of the showers to see Shoto at the table quietly reading.

"You brought a book with you?" Iruka questioned. She didn't think they'd have time to read.

"I enjoy reading before bed." Iruka peeked at the cover, the title was Colourful.

"Do you mind if I read it while you get cleaned up?" Shoto shook his head and passed his book to Iruka as he got up.

For a good few minutes Iruka spent her time nose deep in the book. She was confused and intrigued all at once. She got to a rather interesting part when her phone rang.

"Moshi Mosh~" She answered. It was a group video call that Hizashi had started. Izuku, Katsuki's parents and Inko were there. It seemed Katsuki hadn't answered his phone.

"Hey hope I wasn't disturbing you kiddos." Hizashi said hesitantly.

"No not at all Papa. So how was your first day of internship?" Iruka asked Izuku.

"Oh I didn't do much, just some training. What about you?"

"Oh we went on patrol at Hosu. Endeavor is trying to catch the hero killer but no one's seen him." Iruka explained. Just then Katsuki finally answered his phone and Iruka burst out laughing which caught Shoto's attention, who had just gotten out of the bathroom.

"Heh what the hell are you laughing at Whiskers!" Katsuki shouted and Iruka just continued laughing as Izuku suppressed his own laughter.

"Katsuki what's wrong with your hair?" Mitsuki asked as she too laughed. Katsuki's hair seemed to have been gelled down leaving him with what one would call a very professional hairstyle.

Just then Shoto walked over to see what all the fuss was about.

"Bakugo you look like a thumb." He said blatantly. Which sent everyone into a burst of laughter.

"Shut up IcyHot your hair looks like shit too!" Katsuki yelled in return.

"Alright alright calm down Kacchan." Iruka said, trying to calm herself down in the process.

"Are you two staying in one room?" Hizashi asked his daughter and her friend.

"Oh no no. This is just a meeting room. Shoto can-", Iruka didn't get to finish her sentence before being interrupted.

"Iruka's staying in the room while I'm sleeping on the couch." Iruka didn't have a chance to argue when she heard her Dad's voice on the other line.

"Hizashi Tadaima~" Shota called out as he entered the home with Hitoshi. The two had just finished patrol and all Shota wanted to do was crash on the bed.

Iruka panicked, forgetting Hitoshi would be staying over at their place. Quickly Iruka signed.

"Can we sign? I'm not ready for Hitoshi to know I'm your daughter."

"You haven't told him?" Izuku signed back. Iruka shook her head.

"Dumbass." Katsuki signed.

"It's getting late and you four need sleep." Hizashi signed. In the background Hitoshi's footsteps could be heard as he headed up to his room.

"Why are you signing?" Shota signed. He was confused but got the gist of things when he saw who Hizashi was talking to.

"Hey Dad. Anyways I think I'll head in for the night. Goodnight." And Iruka ended the call with a sigh. She had completely forgotten Shoto was standing next to her until she turned around. "Oh sorry about that Shoto. Sorry if you felt left out."

"No, don't worry I understood."

"Wait you did?" Shocked would be an understatement to how Iruka felt.

"Ya. My JSL is rusty but I understand it. Mom taught me when I was small and Fuyumi relearned it because one of her student's is deaf so I thought I'd join her. It's a useful skill to have as a hero after all." Shoto explained.

"Is your sister a teacher?" Iruka was intrigued with the Todoroki family. Sure they had an entire q&a session earlier that day but she never brought up his family. Something about the topic seemed almost taboo.

"Ya, she teaches elementary kids."

"Well it's really great of her to learn JSL for her students. Anyways I think we should go to sleep. Are you sure it's alright if I take the room?" Iruka was hesitant but somehow Shoto convinced her it was alright.

Before entering a slumber Iruka checked up on her classmates, specifically Tenya. She waited a bit before concluding he had probably gone to sleep. After talking to some of her other classmates Iruka moved on to texting Hitoshi. He was up finishing one last assignment he had left out before his patrol earlier that night.

I know ASL(what I'm more familiar with) and JSL aren't formatted like that but for the sake of writing proper conversation sign language will be in bold, it'll be different depending on the situation but you'll see that in the future.

Next thing I wanted to say is PHA will be on a 2 week break. Nothing to drastic is going on I just thought it would be a good time for a short break.
