I wonder what the first time flying with his quirk must've felt like for Katsuki?

Rescue

That was the word written on the card Shota was holding up. Everyone was silent, looking at it curiously.

"Today we'll be doing rescue training. Natural disasters shipwrecks stuff like that. I, All Might and another faculty member will be supervising you." Everyone had already started to buzz about all the kinds of training they would be doing. "Guys I'm not done yet. What you wear during this exercise is up to you, I'm sure most of you would want to wear your hero costume but keep in mind it might limit you since you haven't gotten used to it. This special training is at an off-campus facility so we'll go by bus. Now start getting ready."

In 10 minutes everyone was changed and were waiting by the bus. Everyone was wearing their hero costumes and were now waiting for their teacher. When it was time to get on the bus, Tenya started shouting instructions about how the seating would go but upon entering they realised that it wasn't that kind of seating.

"Better luck next time Iida." Iruka patted her friend's shoulder.

Everyone on the bus was talking about their quirks and who would be a great hero one day. Everyone's first pick was Shoto Todoroki. From what everyone saw a few days ago, he had an incredible quirk. Iruka and Katsuki had also been considered one of the stronger members of their classmates though Iruka didn't think so.

"Hey Midoriya, can I ask you something, Kero." Tsuyu spoke up.

"Sure Asui."

"Just call me Tsu. Anyways your quirk, it's a lot like All Might's don't you think." This caught Izuku off guard. It also caught a few people's attention, including Iruka.

"I-I no it's not." Izuku played it off like nothing but he was lying and Iruka was sure of it.

"But you're forgetting something Tsu, All Might doesn't break his bones." Eijiro pointed out which made a few people laugh and that topic died right there.

Katsuki had gotten heated with everyone when they said he wouldn't be a famous hero thanks to his attitude. In everyone's defence, he didn't seem that approachable. Iruka had been talking with Izuku and Ochaco trying to guess where they were going. Even Iruka was stumped, she never really had a chance nor a reason to go to a school facility outside school grounds. But she also had something else in mind.

Izuku's quirk. He had said it was a late manifestation. But it just didn't seem to add up for her. The time frame in which he had got his quirk, or at least when he said it manifested was between the time they had met Toshinori and their UA entrance exam. What could've happened at that time to have it manifest? Could it have been a forced manifestation? Stress maybe?

"Hey hey quiet down we're here." Slowly everyone shuffled out of the bus and stood in awe. In front of them looked like a ginormous glass dome.

"Hello everyone I've been waiting for you." It was the Space hero Thirteen. Iruka, Ochaco and Izuku started to fangirl over the hero in front of them. "This here is the Unforeseen Simulation Joint also known as USJ."Upon entering, everyone saw the many different kinds of disasters.

"Shouldn't All Might be here already?" Shota asked the Pro Hero.

"Well, he accidentally used up all his power. He's resting in the teacher's lounge at the moment." Shota could only sigh.

As Thirteen explained about how powerful and dangerous quirks could be Iruka sensed that something was wrong. She let out a low growl that caught her teacher's attention.

"Something the matter?" Shota asked his student. Iruka didn't answer him, instead, she turned to Tenya.

"Iida get back to the school and get help now!" She almost barked at him. This just made everyone even more confused. Before anyone could say a word the lights in the entire facility went out. Suddenly something started forming at the centre of the facility. It must've been some kind of portal because soon people were walking out of it.

"Iida go now!" Tenya didn't think twice. Something told him to trust his classmate's judgement and he ran out the door.

"Woah is this part of the training? Did it start already?" Eijiro asked.

"No, stay back. This is real and those are real villains." Eraserhead had his goggles on.

"We were told All Might would be here. Give him to us and we'll leave in peace." The man-made of purple mist spoke.

"He isn't here you piece of shit!" Katsuki yelled out from where they were.

"Kacchan," Iruka hissed at him. "Right now isn't the time to be hot-headed." She had moved in front of her classmates. She was ready to fight if need be.

"So you're the one causing all this trouble. Thirteen get them out of here I'll deal with them." Eraserhead was about to jump into action when one of his students came up to him.

"Sir you can't. Even if you could erase their quirks your fighting style isn't suited for this. They might overwhelm you." Izuku voiced his worries.

"You can't be a hero by being a one-trick pony. I'll be fine." He looked to Iruka. "I promise." And he was off.

As Eraserhead was fighting the other villains the purple mist was soon in front of the class. "Well if he isn't here we shall make him come." Is that a person under there? Is that someone's quirk? Iruka was too busy thinking to realise that Katsuki and Eijiro were heading right at it. "KACCHAN NO!" But it was too late. One of them must've hit something because the mist had been pushed back but the next thing Iruka knew was that she had fallen into some kind of body of water.

Iruka had changed into a fish unsure if she should go up to the surface. Amid things, Iruka saw something rushing towards Izuku. Iruka changed into a shark and knocked it away from Izuku. She dragged him up to the surface. When she saw there was a boat she changed into a bird and with Izu in her talons flew up onto the boat. Iruka saw that Tsuyu and Mineta were there as well.

"Thanks, Iru," Izuku said as Mineta was mumbling about mucus.

"What do we do now, Kero?"

"We should get back to Thirteen. Hopefully backup comes soon." Iruka explained.

Soon more villains were surrounding the boat. I have to think fast. They came here to kill All Might or whatever if that's even somehow possible. With this many people, I can't get everyone to safety in one shot.

"We're doomed we're dead," Mineta whined.

"Not quite. We have the element of mystery on our side. Think about it, that thing dropped Iruka and Asui- uh I mean Tsu here which means they don't know our quirk. We can use that to our advantage." Izuku explained. He too was thinking of ways to get out of the situation preferably alive.

"He's right, though they may have seen my quirk but not to its full extent. So let's talk quirk." One by one they explained how their quirks worked and came up with a plan. As they were planning one of the villains had sliced the boat in half. "Now or never I suppose."

Iruka turned into a fly and flew a little away from the boat before jumping in and then she waited for the signal. Mineta had started to fill the surface of the water with as many of his balls as he could. Lucky for them the villains didn't try to go near them. Once Mineta couldn't do it anymore Tsuyu dipped her tongue into the water to signal Iruka. She changed into a whale making a humongous wave which surprisingly managed to sweep most of the villains away some getting knocked out others getting stuck to Mineta's balls.

Once Iruka had changed back into a fish, Izuku, Mineta and Tsuyu jumped into the water. They didn't have anywhere else to go since they were surrounded by water and there wasn't anything for Tsuyu to grab onto.

They had swum to the closest bit of land which unluckily for them was where their homeroom teacher had been fighting. They tried to hide silently not knowing what exactly to do. They didn't move afraid they would get caught and make it worse on their teacher.

Shota was struggling to keep so many people at bay. But then he saw them, the one he was sure was the boss in this entire attack. A blue-haired man with what looked to be severed hands wrapped on random body parts.

"It was hard to tell with those goggles on but I found your telltale sign Eraserhead, it's your hair." The villain had grabbed on to Shota as his hair fell down and slowly his elbow was being disintegrated.

Shota pulled back and shot his capture gear but was caught by this odd bird looking thing. The thing pulled Shota so quickly he didn't have time to even blink when the next thing he knew he was being plummeted to the ground. He tried to erase the thing's quirk but it just continued to pull and crush his bones like twigs.

"Say hi won't you Eraserhead. Here is my bio-engineered Nomu. The Anti symbol of peace and he'll be the one to kill All Might of. But since he isn't coming why don't I break him a little." The blue-haired man turned around and headed towards Mineta, Tsuyu and Izuku faster than a blink of an eye. He had touched Tsuyu but nothing happened. "Incredible Eraserhead. Even with both elbows broken and your head so close to being squished you still protect your student."

When Iruka resurfaced she didn't see her friends but she saw that they were not too far from her. They were near a fight. A fight her dad was fighting. What do I do? I might get in the way if I try to help. She was watching what was happening to her dad and Iruka's head was a mess. Save them. Save them! SAVE THEM! Her mind yelled at her. She changed into a peregrine falcon and flew as fast as she could.

The blue-haired man had touched Tsuyu but nothing had happened to her. Iruka didn't have time to question it because everyone was still in danger. When she got close, Iruka morphed into a rhino and before anyone noticed she rammed into the villain knocking him as far as she could. Then she turned into a lion and faced the creature that was smashing her fathers head into the ground.

She slowly grew larger, almost as large as the thing itself. The thing roared at her and she roared back as she pounced and somehow caught it into her mouth. It tasted disgusting but she bit into it growing larger and tossing it far. I can't fight that thing. Just get everyone out.

Iruka grew a little smaller and grabbed her dad, tossing him onto her back. Her classmates got out of the water and followed her to what looked like a jungle.

"Iru you can de-transform, I'll carry him." Izuku offered. She thought best not to argue. I might need my strength later.

"What the hell was that thing?" Mineta said, still in shock.

"I heard that villain call it a Nomu, Kero."

"Whatever the hell it is, it's trouble. We need to get Mr Aizawa back to Thirteen." Everyone nodded in agreement. From a far distance, they heard someone yell die.

And the USJ arc is finally upon us.
