I wanna know what Izuku would've done to get into UA without a quirk

"Bye Papa Bye Dad see you guys in school." Iruka waved her dads goodbye as she rushed out the door.

The commute to school wasn't any different but when she did reach school it was swarmed with reporters. It was pretty obvious that the word about All Might becoming a teacher at UA had spread like wildfire. Before Iruka could drag her friends to the back entrance they had already been blocked by the crowd. Iruka felt like she might go insane from the questions.

"What is it like being taught by the symbol of peace?"

"How does he teach his classes?" And so many other questions were thrown at them. One of the reporters had somehow recognised the three from the slime incident and was starting to ask about that until Katsuki blew up in their face.

"Fuck off or I'll blow you to bits." He yelled out as he dragged his friends into the school ground.

"You might have accidentally dragged your name through the dirt there Kacchan," Iruka mentioned it as they headed to class.

"Screw that. They shouldn't be here in the first place." Katsuki huffed as he sat by his seat. I don't mind him being so hot-headed but does he think he can get No. 1 with that attitude. Iruka wondered to herself.

"The press was insane today don't you think?" Ochaco was talking to Tsuyu when their homeroom teacher came in.

"Alright I reviewed footage from yesterday's class and everyone did alright. Bakugo work on being part of a team, heroes can't always go solo. Ito don't get distracted it might cost you in the field." Shota eyed his daughter. Iruka nodded, not making eye contact. Why does he do this to me? "Now let's get down to business, it'll determine your future." Everyone went dead silent, scared they were going to have their education threatened again. "You all need to pick a class representative." Everyone let out a sigh of relief.

Soon everyone was yelling out wanting to be picked. When you become a school rep it usually meant extra work but in hero schools, it was one of the times you get to show how good you were as a leader. Unlike everyone else, Iruka didn't want to be class rep. She didn't think she would be a good enough leader even if that was one of the things heroes had to be.

Somehow Tenya managed to silence everyone and suggested that they use a voting system. Iruka thought about it before deciding Tenya would be a good class rep. He may be stiff at times but I'm sure being class rep for this crazy class will loosen him up, and someone like him would make a great leader for this class. After Iruka placed her vote she wasn't paying attention anymore.

"All right the class rep is Ito the deputy is Yayorozu," Shota announced lazily.

"Wait what." Iruka finally looked up. She had been writing the entire time, not thinking she would get a single vote but somehow she got three.

Iruka was almost shaking where she stood. Her classmates thought it wasn't so bad but Iruka hated every second of it. For the rest of the day, Iruka was out of it.

"Hey Kacchan, Kirishima mind if I eat lunch with you guys?"

"Sure Ito!" Eijiro chimed.

"Why aren't you with Deku and his gang?" Katsuki growled out, a little offended it would seem. She wasn't sure if it was because of who she was hanging out with more or maybe it was the class rep elections that she won.

"I sorta lost them when I was getting food. It's fine if you want me to go I could just-"

"Sit down Whiskers, lunch doesn't last forever." Iruka nods and takes a seat next to Katsuki.

"Oh Ito, congrats on becoming a class rep."

"Oh um thanks. I actually don't know if I want to stay class rep" Iruka mumbled the last bit but both boys still caught on.

"Why not? I think being class rep is super manly." Eijiro puts his fists together, giving Iruka a toothy grin.

"If you aren't going to be class rep then give the job to me." Katsuki was half-joking really, but Iruka didn't seem to catch the joking part of it.

"I might have to discuss with Aizawa Sensei about-" She never got to finish her thought nor her sentence because the emergency bell rang.

Someone had broken into the school and suddenly everyone was in a panic to get out. She didn't want to end up in the hallway but people were scared and didn't necessarily pay attention to their surroundings so, amid things, she ended up being swept away by the crowd. She had lost sight of Katsuki and Eijiro. The entire school was in the hallway so of course it was crowded, though that did not register in Iruka's mind. All she knew was it was crowded and she didn't like it. Iruka found herself pressed up against a wall trying her best to calm down but the noise around her didn't do any good for her.

She heard mumbles from a distance. They seemed familiar and she was sure it was Tenya's. She looked up and there he was. Everyone stood still but it was more of the fact that Tenya now stood on an exit sign that made her snap back to reality.

"Everyone calm down. It's only the media outside there isn't anything to worry about." Tenya was on the exit sign. Soon she heard sirens and slowly the crowds thinned out.

Eventually, Katsuki did manage to get to her. Which he felt was too easy to do. She was still by the wall, shaken but thankfully unharmed.

"Hey Whiskers come on, lunch is over." He didn't wait for a reply before he dragged her back to class, with Eijiro silently walking next to him.

Before practicals, Momo and Iruka were tasked to choose their class officers.

"This-this may sound dumb s-since I'm class rep but-but there's something I want to say. I think Iida should be class rep. He stood up and took charge during lunch and I think that's what a leader should be."

The class nodded in agreement. Some may have made fun of what Tenya looked like while he was on the wall but they agreed nonetheless. Though in the corner of her eye she saw Katsuki scoff.

And we are finally nearing the USJ arc.

I didn't show Iruka's hero costume in the last chapter so here you go!

Her hero costume might change in the future as the story goes one I'm not sure yet.

I did say last week that I wanted to take a break but I'm honestly not sure if I should.
