The first time Jungkook cheated on you, it felt like your lungs had collapsed. You paid him a surprise visit to his apartment 6 months into your relationship and ran into a prettier girl around your age with bright red hair. She walked out of his apartment with your favorite shirt of his draped over her tiny shoulders. When you noticed the big bold letters of his dance studio on her white T-shirt, you didn't need further explanation.

"Hey, are you looking for someone?" she had asked you hesitantly when she noticed you were right in front of the apartment, eyes wide like a deer caught in headlights.

You shook your head faster than you could register that he was YOUR boyfriend.

"No, I was just out of it for a second," You smiled at her and turned immediately.

A smile that's so similar to the one she sends you when your eyes connect at the party. This time, you don't send one back, but pretend you don't see her. You take a sip of your drink and turn back to a colleague of yours.

Taehyung sees you from his little corner. He's on his 3rd can of beer, taking notes of the people you acknowledge and the ones you don't. He finds your interaction with the short red-headed girl weird, and hopes he can get some information out of you later.

He redirects his attention to the table where they play a weird mash of spin-the-bottle and beer-pong. If he understands the workings of the game, when the ball lands in the cup of the opposing team, they have to drink the beer and spit it into a willing person's mouth then seal it with a kiss. He's strongly against the game and is genuinely concerned about the sanitation.

 However, he's more concerned when he recognizes Jungkook among the players.
