Oneshot 2
It's been a couple of days since Valken has left. Violet hasn't been doing well. She blamed herself for his disappearance. She did start the argument instead of helping him deal with his pain. She knows what it's like to be called a freak. Hell, she's been called a freak many times for being herself and not always obeying the 'normal'. She should have done something apart from shouting at him and making him pick. That was probably the dumbest choice of her life and now she can't do anything to fix it. She'll just mess it up more if anything.
Weeks. Months have passed and still no sign of him. No one has seen him and Violet only got worse. She didn't come out of her room much anymore. She wouldn't eat or drink. She would always hear Valken's voice in her head or even see him right in front of her. Violet knew that she was hallucinating. Why would he come back to her? She's the one that ruined everything. But even after so long she couldn't get him out of her mind. She loved him more than anything in the world. But like always she messed things up. Just like when her parents died. No wonder she'll always end up alone. Whenever she goes, bad luck follows her.
After hours of trying to get to sleep failed miserably, Violet got out of bed and swam out of the castle to somewhere where she would be alone. Looking into the distance, seemingly in a daze she started to sing.
"Beware, beware my lover of the Sea
"Beware, " I heard them cry
His words carried upon the ocean breeze
As he sank beneath the tide
The admiral fell at Atlantis
Because I left his side
Why this, why this, oh my lover of the Sea?
Why this? Did you forget your seaside days?
Always the pride of our nation's eyes
How could you go astray?
When he did flee across the ocean deep
But there he found upon those distant shores
Enemies 'pon the rise
But when he faced those savage foes
I his lover stood aside
And buried deep beneath the waves
Betrayed by family
To his nation, with his last breath, cried
"Beware my lover of the Sea"
I heard, I heard across the moonlit sea
The old voice warning me
"Beware, beware my lover of the Sea"
Beware, beware of...Him"
Violet finished singing and fell to the ground breaking down into tears. "I miss you so much" she cried out letting all of her pain and emotions out. If only there was a way for her to make this right.
