Epilogue

Mama.

Elsa woke up to the sound of a child, it sounded like bells sweetly ringing and calling her. She opened up her eyes and saw a figure standing next to her bed. The child took her hand and smiled when she managed t push herself up.

"Mama," the child said and giggled. It was a young boy with crystal blue eyes, white hair and a smile that was melting her heart.

The boy grinned to his mother when he let go of her hand.

"Did you sleep well Nicholas?" Elsa asked as she was standing up.

The boy nodded his head, making his wind wisped hair fly in the motion. He kept on staring into hers mothers eyes and felt enthusiastic.

"Papa is waiting," he said when he couldn't hold the secret back in anymore.

"Papa? No, he can't be hereyet," Elsa gulped and her hand went over her abdomen. The white smooth and silky night gown felt cool against her skin.

"Papa!" The boy yelled and started to run with his three year olds tiny feet. I was wearing a white night gown.

"WAIT!" Elsa yelled and ran after the boy after putting on her slippers. She saw her son running to staircase and then sliding down from the railing. Their steps had echoed on the castle's walls,

"That's dangerous!" Elsa shrieked and once she reached the staircase she saw the boy again. She was panting and staring down.

Nicholas was being held by someone. A man with his back turned at her, the boy was grinning in his lap. Her heart was pounding wildly inside her chest and she squeezes the fabric of the night gown. The man had white wind wisped hair.

"Mama! Papa and I are waiting!" The boy chuckled and she took one step down in the stairs. She was staring at him, not blinking even once. Each step she took made her heart beat even more painfully.

"H-hey," She called and then he began turning around.

At first she saw the same one sided smile, similar to that the child had and then... then she saw a glimpse of cyan blue eyes, sparkling.

"Ah, Nicholas here told me that you RAN after him," he laughed.

"He is as reckless as you are and you know that. I had to run after him, what if he got hurt!" Elsa snapped.

" I can fly mama," Nicholas mumbled to his mother and got down from his fathers lap.

"Yes you can kiddo but mama can't," Jack narrowed his eyes as he tried to prove his point.

"Well nothing happened," Elsa huffed and kept on walking down the stairs.

Jack rolled his eyes and mumbled the word idiot so quietly that no one else would hear it. He rushed to the stairs and hopped two steps at a time towards her. Due to Elsa's clumsy state Jack made two thirds of the stairs when they met. Gently he offered his hand which she threw aside.

"Please, let me walk you down the stairs?" He asked politely.

"I can do it myself," she hissed and circled around him.

"Geez I hate hormones," Jack exhaled and facepalmed.

Elsa grinned in the inside but she felt annoyed. Why wasn't she told that her husband had returned from his journey. She closed her eyes for a moment before taking another step.

Suddenly the calm atmosphere of the castle changed when a loud girly scream was echoing around the corridors. The doves flew up from the castle tower and even the cook who was cooking breakfast two floors down paused to listen.

Jack turned around and he saw something which he didn't want to see. With a quick move he flew down towards her and in the nick of time he caught her before her back would've hit the stairs. He sighed from relief as he stared into her terrified eyes.

"Are you okay?" Jack asked and touched her cheek.

She blushed and took a quick touch to her abdomen. Jack noticed it and his face turned blue from terror.

"A-are they okay?" He asked. "Answer me!" He asked again while panicking because she didn't answer in the passing second.

"Your baby daughters are just fine," Elsa replied and narrowed her eyes angrily. She was five months pregnant at that point and her hormones threw her from over happiness to pure rage at some points. And the only one who got the full range of her emotions was her husband.

"Phew," he exhaled and closed his eyes for a moment.

Then he wondered where she had slipped. He opened his eyes and saw a small puddle close to her.

"Nicholas! Did you leave one of your snowballs here to melt again. You should be careful where you make them," Jack scolded while staring at his son who was in shock in the end of the stairs.

"Papa... I'm sowwy," the little boy cried while staring at his parents.

"It is not your fault sweetie," Elsa chirped like a little sweet song bird while Jack helped him up. "It is papa's fault because he teaches you to be a bit reckless," Elsa whispered and gave Jack a look.

"Okay, no more playing with snow inside the castle. Okay Nick?" Jack sighed in defeat. Elsa just smirked next to him and touched his fingers slightly.

Finally she calmed down, Jack thought when he took a hold of her hand.

"Jesus Elsa, you woke up the entire castle!" Anna snorted. She was coming towards them from eastern wing of the castle. She paused over to Nicholas and placed her hand over his head.

"Sorry," Elsa laughed and then she squealed when she was grabbed by Jack who flew her down by carrying her in bridal style. Gently he let her down to ground.

"Oh my, the Queens bed warmer also known as the jester King of Arendelle has returned," Anna grinned.

"Ssh," Elsa hushed and nodded towards Nicholas.

"The one and only," Jack smiled and bowed down.

"When did you come back dear brother in law?" Anna chuckled.

"Just less than hour ago. Sorry, I wanted it to be a surprise so I flew inside and avoided the guards," he laughed and rubbed his neck.

"Papa... is uncle Shawn coming?" Nicholas asked.

"Sure he is kiddo, tomorrow like it was planned," Jack grinned and ruffled the hair of Nicholas who smiled with enthusiasm. He loved his uncle who would come here to babysit him and his cousin, Anna's two year old daughter.

This weekend would be special since it is Hiro's and Gogo's engagement party where all of their friends from the army are invited. They would meet Hiccup, Merida, Astrid, Eugene and Rapunzel again after couple months.

"How were your parents?" Elsa smiled. They had stayed home when Jack was visiting his old home and the Captain's. Elsa would've been too tired to the engagement party if she went to both.

"They were doing just fine and sent some warm thoughts to you," Jack smiled warmly.

"—Grandma sent you these," Jack added laughing and pulled out a back of chocolate cookies from his pocket.

Nicholas who was named after Nicholas North laughed in excitement while clapping his hands together. Jack handed the bag to him, ignoring Elsa's scolding look. He knew that if she got them there would be nothing left, besides he had another bag just for her.

"Okay, before you spoil your appetite young mister, we're going to breakfast," Elsa laughed and took her sons hand. They were heading towards the dining room where Kristoff was already giving porridge to little Iduna, her name came after her grandmother who was the previous Queen of Arendelle.

Jack smiled while he watched Elsa taking their son to breakfast. Despite the peculiar way of his family of having twins, two boys as their first borns, they only had one. This time there was no risk of the twin without no power being killed the one with ice and wind powers. They only had one son who has the powers that run in the family and now they would have two perfect little girls. It warms his heart to know that Nicholas will have baby sisters to take care of, even though the pregnancy is way different from the first time and they probably won't have any powers, they are expected and loved.

"Are you coming! I'm starving!"

Anna had just slapped Jack to his back and woke him up from his daydream. He blinked couple times and saw Elsa waiting with Nicholas. Her eyes look into his with love.

"Sure," he replied and went to his family.

A/N:

I would like to know your opinions of the ending?

Also I'm publishing "Final Words" which I want you guys to read ^-^.

Honestly this chapter made me cry while writing it and now I have this fuzzy warm ball inside my chest. These characters I loved and still love. And I think that being a mother myself really gave me more depth to write this family stuff here in the Epilogue.

Song: Gavin Mikhail – Demons which inspirited me through this book.
