POV Elsa

Another cut ran over my skin, deeper this time than the previous ones. This might be cut number 15 or not, I lost count somewhere around 10. I try not to look at Jack, his horrid grin goes worse which each cut and he seems to enjoy this more and more.

I wince when a drop of my sweat goes into a cut wound. The saltiness of it burns and makes my eyes to water up. My body squirms as my muscles react to the pain, even the rope around my hands is making my wrists ache.

"This isn't like you... you said you wouldn't hurt me... you suffered so much after Emma and now--," I whispered as I tried to reach him. He has to be there, he has to.

"That might have been before but... I like seeing you to suffer," he laughed blankly as he swung the blade at me quickly. It hit straight into my shoulder and made blood burst out. It made me scream and my hands to tense up, my fingers spread wide and I felt the chain.

"B-but you swore to avenge to Pitch... why would you work for him? Be h-his...," I gulped as I lifted my face up.

Jack reached his free hand to my chin and I felt how his fingers began squeezing my face. The blood which he had on his hands transferred into my skin and began to dry up.

"His what?" Jack snapped as his black emotionless eyes looked at me.

"Companion... in all of this... and..." I said quietly with my heart aching. "And in bed," I managed to finish what I began to say.

"Fuck!" Jack shouted and he took his hand which then rose up and slammed against my face as a fist.

"I might find his way to see things fun and interesting... But no one touches me," he shouted.

"N-no one touches you?" I replied with my hopes getting up.

"Yeah... well not after I have raped your corpse of course, like master asked. Then the last bit of my weaknesses has died off," he laughed as he placed the tip of the knife against my chest. He came to stand right in front of me.

I kept repeating the last part he said in my mind. Weaknesses.... me? He sees me as a weakness?

"And now... time for you to die," he hummed when he began to press the blade down.

"No! Stop! Jack, you are still there. Don't make me do this," I cried while my hands were reaching towards the chain.

"Do what? I don't see you capable of doing anything... You're just a pathetic woman, about to be killed by someone who she thought loved him," he chuckled and leaned forward. The tip pressed inside my skin and I gasped.

"Guess what? He never loved you, you were just his toy. And now you'll feel how he rips your simple heart out," he whispered coldly into my ear.

I can't let him take my life, not after how Anna sacrificed herself for me. No matter how much I loved him...

I screamed when I froze the chain which held me up high. It was easy and quick to break after that. It startled him enough and when he backed up, I managed to lift my hands up. Tears fell from my cheeks as I quietly whispered my sorry for him.

A flash shot across the room as my powers crystallized the moisture in the air and then the beam shot right at him. His mouth opened up slightly when he took direct hit on his chest, it made him fall down like the knife just fell from his hand. My feet felt so numb as I stood on the floor, still staring at him while he was gasping for air and squeezing his chest.

I had done the unforgivable thing, which I was always warned of doing. A direct hit to his heart, freezing him from the inside until his death.

"What have I done," I sobbed as I limped to him. I let myself to drop to my knees right next to him and then I let my body to fall right over him.

His chest was already freezing and I took his right hand into mine. His grip tightened around my fingers as I cried against him. I can't look at his face, it would be too much to see him dying with his eyes like that.

"I love you... never forget it Captain," I managed to spoke out even though my voice shivered and my heart was broken.

My eyes closed, I just imagined how he would soon slip out from my grasp fully. How his hands would freeze, the last amount of breath would steam out from his lungs and he would be forever gone. This wasn't supposed to be the way how it would go. Maybe if I wouldn't have gone out after him alone, Mushu and I have could've figured out a plan.

His body stopped moving and I slowly lift my gaze up. I burst into tears when I see his face covered in ice, it covers him like a mirror. So lifelike but yet dead.

"W-we were going to go back together... How can you make me love you and then you are taken away from me?" I cried against his chest which I then hit with my both hands. Curse these ropes, tying me up and making it impossible to hold him.

"CURSE THIS ALL!" I shouted. Tears were feeling stinging in my sore face but now I'm getting it. His hate towards Pitch.. why he so desperately wanted him dead.

Now I got to get out from here... find that bastard and...

My body froze, I swear that just.. Then it happened again and I gasped. Jack is moving.

Quickly I squirm away from him and I sat on the cool stone floor, then I kicked myself back. Right until I reached the corner, my heart is thumping inside my chest. Didn't my powers work on him?

Slowly he gets up, his arms are hanging against his sides lazily and a shadow covers his face. But I see his grin which made me whimper silently. I pull my legs against my chest while sob escapes from my lips.

I can't do it again, I can't hurt him... I can't defense myself.

He turns his back at me and I see how he points at the door. Time and space seemed to stop at that second when he froze the door frame shut. How he turned back around again, grabbing the knife from the ground and the moment when he began to approach me again, without saying anything.

"I can't do this anymore," I cried aloud while I buried my face between my legs. My hands were lifted above my head again.

I heard a thump and then there was nothing. I was about to peek, hoping not to see those black eyes of his staring at me victoriously.

"You are so fucking stupid... throwing yourself to danger and then staying," he muttered and when I was able to gather my courage to take that final peek.

I saw him sitting in the shadows, light was only showing his legs. His back was leaning against the wall. Then I flinched, he was twisting and turning the knife in his hands which were resting over his knees.

"I came for you Jack and I know you're still there," I cried aloud again. Then I collected my lungs full with air, "How you're still alive!"

Then he began laughing. "Geez you're stupid woman sometimes," he said and sounded amused. I stared at his shadowy figure.

"Well, kill me then. What are you still waiting for?" I encouraged him.

"I was just wondering," he said aloud and slammed the tip of the knife between two rocks on the stone floor.

"What?" I snapped when everything felt sickly amusing.

"Could the Angel help the Demon back to the light? After everything..." He whispered.

All the fear vanished from me at that point and I began to crawl towards him. He turned his face towards me but he still kept in the shadows. I kneeled in front of him and I reached my hands towards his face. My fingers were shaking so much before I touched his skin.

He pushed himself up with the help of the knife and then he dropped into his knees in front of me. His eyes were sad as he watched into my eyes, his lips were squeezed in a tight line.

"Jack," I exhaled and my hands dropped down. Tears of joy streamed down from my cheeks as I stared the blue eyes of his.

Without saying anything he took my hands into his and he cut the rope off and after that he drew the knife back into the corner.

"I hurt you... after everything.. I hurt you," he whispered with his voice shaking. I just shut him into embrace and I felt his arm going around me.

"No.. Pitch, he hurt me... he hurt you. You are not like that," I whispered to his ear and then I backed up a bit but his grasp stopped me. His hand was behind my neck when he gave me a faint smile just before letting his lips touch mine. This kiss was gentle, almost shy and I held my breath through it.

He pressed his forehead against mine after the kiss. We both closed our eyes and kept breathing.

"We need to leave from here... You're hurt," he told me.

"How? What about other Captains," I replied to him quietly.

"They... I don't know but I can't let you be in danger. I had your love to bring me back and my love for you. We will get them other time but now I need to get you out or my heart dies," he spoke fast and we opened our eyes. He had real concern in his eyes and I nodded my head.

"But-," I gulped.

"I'll say that you're dead. I'll carry you out from the building and then I fly us out to somewhere safe. Can you still trust in me?" He panted out as he took my hand.

"Of course," I smiled and my hand slipped out from his when he stood up.

He swooped me up in bridal style. "Sorry, I'll cover your body up once we're out from here.. until then, could you pretend to be dead? Like numb or something,"he laughed nervously.

"Sure," I whispered and then he bounced me up a bit. My upper body turned around a bit and my face was against his chest.

"At least I can cover your chest this way," he mumbled as he walked to the door.

I closed my eyes and I let my right hand drop down in numb way. He unfroze the door and walked out from the chamber where he had just before cut me. He stepped over the doorway and an ironic thought went over me. This wasn't how I imagined him walking me into a room, with my body being aching before the actual act that would take my strength away. But I truly wish that we will see that moment one day, our wedding night.

"Here it goes," he whispered and I took a peek. He used the wind to push the hood over his head.

I closed my eyes up again and I heard how he was going forward. Then how he went up the stairs.

"How is the girl?" Captain North's voice spoke and Jack stopped on his steps.

"Dead. Tell the master that I'm throwing her body off from the cliff," Jack hissed back and began walking again.

A shiver went through my consciousness as I imagined my body being thrown down. How it would hit on rocks and trees on the way, being more and more damaged.

The waiting was making my heart beating like crazy. I can't take a look or we're compromised.

"Where are you taking her?" A female voice spoke and I recognized it being Rapunzel's.

"Out.I'll get rid of her body," Jack replied blankly.

"No. Pitch wants to see her first," Rapunzel snapped.

"Open the fucking door," Jack hissed at her and I felt his hands squeezing me tighter.

"Is she dead?" Rapunzel asked curiously and I heard her steps approaching.

Then Jack groaned and began running, my reaction was to grasp to the fabric of his hoodie.

"Traitor! PITCH! Captain Overland is cured!" Rapunzel screamed when I opened up my eyes.

Jack's eyes were determined.

"Wind! Open the door!" Jack yelled as he ran. I lost the sight of Punzie when Jack began to run faster, straight through the door. Gunshots were being fired when he ran to the edge of the cliff and then my stomach felt weird when he jumped up.

We were flying, really fast. The hood dropped down from his head and he looks down at me.

"Feeling okay? I haven't flown like this with you," he yelled. I couldn't respond as my head was getting dizzy and my grasp was letting go of him.

"Just little longer, then we'll go in less speed," he shouted and squeezed me tightly against his chest.

My hands let go of his hoodie just on the moment when everything seemed to slow down. I just saw blackness until I flickered my eyes open few times.

"You passed out," he spoke softly and I realized that we were still floating in the air. Just above the clouds where you could see the night sky with stars and moon.

"W-where are we?" I gulped.

"I had to travel way too fast for you... to get away from those damn horses, now they don't know where we're at. And... to your question, we're near a place that I trust," he said quietly and began flying again. However he was flying down while going forward.

Something was flapping in the air and I notice a pure white and soft fabric around my body. Something is a bit strange though and I narrow my eyes, it is woven with strings of ice and the soft surface is actually powder snow. He must have done this to cover my nude body while we were flying and I passed out.

The ground is closing up and soon he lands. Behind us is a forest area but before us is a comfy looking building. It was a mix of stones and wood, smoke was rising from the chimney and the lights coming from inside were looking warm.

"What place is this?" I questioned as my arms go around his neck.

"A place where they will surely treat you well," he said and kissed my forehead.

He went to the door which he knocked with his feet. Soon someone walked to the door and it opened. A woman wearing a scarf around her head opened it up and once she saw us she gasped. Quickly she tried to close the door up.

"Wait, you've got to help her," Jack insisted as his foot went between the door.

"What is it Elinor?" A cheerful mans voice came from inside.

"Some strangers are trying to get in Fergus," the lady replied.

"You have taken care of my friend, Captain Fairy before.. You might know her as Toothiana?" Jack insisted and frowned.

"Ah! The girl Merida once brought in. Let them inside Elinor," the man chuckled and reluctantly Elinor opened up the door fully.

"Thank you. Her wounds need to be treated. My name is Captain Jackson Overland, this is soldier Arendelle, is there a place where I could put her to rest?" Jack questioned.

"I could walk and introduce myself, you know," I whispered.

"Yes, I'll take you to guestroom," Elinor smiled and began guiding us.

"Could you call your daughter Merida. I trust in her... tell her that... Arendelle is at her home," Jack spoke to Fergus. Fergus who only had one leg and clearly Merida's hair type. This must be her father.

Jack placed me down on a bed and Elinor went to get some ointment. After covering me with a blanket he sat next to me on a chair and stared into my eyes keenly, his look was full of regret as he watched me.

"Don't worry," I smiled to him as my thumb brushed over the back of his hand. He was about to respond when Fergus knocked the door and came in.

"Sorry the interruption but Merida said something," Fergus chuckled nervously.

"What exactly?" Jack asked as he turned around.

Fergus coughed and began imitating Merida's voice. "Strap that bastard and lock him into some sturdy room."

Then Fergus coughed again and rubbed his neck, "That is what she said. Oh! And that she would come here with couple friends."

"Alright, she is smart actually," Jack agreed and got up.

"Wait," my voice rose desperately as I grabbed onto his arm.

Fergus had went ahead and when he wasn't seeing, Jack leaned down and kissed my forehead. "Once they see that I'm myself... I'm sure they'll let me come back. And you know that chains can't withstand cold so... if something bad happens, I'll rush right back to you," he smiled and backed up.

"Promise?" I said quietly and he nodded his head before going.

Seeing him going made me feel sad again but I turned my sad face into a fake smile when Elinor came back to treat my wounds.

POV Merida

"I still can't believe Elsa just left without getting opinion from her fellow squad members," Hiccup groaned behind me.

"Hush!" I kicked him as we crawled forward.

I was forced to take him with me, after all I needed someone to lift me up slightly so I could go into the airvent. And just a little more forward and we would be above Colonel Moon's office.

The day was getting late and Elsa had left yesterday. Hiccup had seen how the guy from before, the weirdish one with some sort of too high self esteem had came back. Yup the guy with weird blue stripe on his hair. Hiccup said that his name was Mushu if I remember correctly. However I can't ask for confirming it because we're already on the hot spot.

"So tell me what happened again," Colonel Moon asked.

"Yeah so I lost my tail in the crowd... I mean Elsa, she just disappeared all of a sudden and I got this really bad feeling," Mushu laughed nervously as he kept walking on circle.

His words made me frown. What has he seen?

"Continue," Colonel Moon said and I heard his word crack.

"As a good scout I went to the hideout of Pitch's troops and things got messed up! Elsa was there, trapped. Pitch was all over Captain Frost. Seriously, trying nasty things!" Mushu said with his voice rising and then he got shivers.

"What do you mean?" Colonel Moon snapped as he pushed his chair away from table when he stood up.

"Uh, Pitch was touching on all the wrong places but when he tried to kiss Captain Frost he got punched by him. That was when I thought that hey! Maybe the Captain isn't so mind fucked but... Then they dragged Elsa inside and Pitch ordered Captain to torture her..." Mushu whispered.

"W-why didn't you go and release them?" Colonel Moon said quietly.

"Colonel, you do know that the place is swarming with enemies and now our strongest fighters are part of them," Mushu insisted and made Colonel sigh loudly.

My phone began to buzz inside my pants and I started to back up, my foot hit on Hiccup's face which made him groan silently.

We got out without anyone noticing that we had been there.

"What was the hurry!" Hiccup hissed and rubbed his head. He had a bruise on his forehead.

"Sorry but my phone began ringing," I replied while I reached to my pocket. "They might have heard the buzzing sooner or later since this thing doesn't seem to stop," I mumbled.

The caller was dad and I picked up the call. He began explaining the situation, that Captain Overland had brought a badly hurt girl named Elsa Arendelle to our home. That she was covered with cuts and mom was treating her.

I cursed Captain Frost to hell, warned dad about him and how he should quickly lock the guy up until I come. And be alert since I don't trust him. Worry was going over me as I realized that this might be a plot and my family is the next target.

"What now?" Hiccup gulped. He was staring at me in shock after the call.

"We get Hiro and Astrid with us, I don't trust Eugene that much since his girlfriend turned out to be one of the enemy," I whispered while we walk towards our sleeping barracks in the snow.

We hijacked the Sleigh for our own usage, gladly Hiro and Hiccup knew how to fly that thing. It was fast for traveling. We took our dogs with us, they can sense if black sand is in the nearby.

"Okay, let me handle the talking," I told to everyone when we stood behind the door to my home.

"So this is where you live at," Hiro whistled and I knock the door after sighing.

"Merida!" Dad cheered and took me into embrace after slamming the door open.

"No! Dad! You're not supposed to open the door like that when there's possible threat!" I gasped when he put me back down.

"Sorry but I was waiting little Mer to be back home," he smiled and let us in.

"You guys go to Elsa, mom will take you there and I'll stop by and chat with Captain Frost. He can't hide his true colors from me," I cheered.

"You shouldn't get yourself into such dangers," mother exhaled when she began leading everyone else to Elsa. I roll my eyes as I took Angus with me and for some reason Captain Frost's dog, Staff, was hanging along.

Dad had taken him to basement, he was sitting on the ground and staring at his feet. His hands were chained behind his back. I coughed when I began to walk down the stairs.

I nearly fell when Staff ran past me and I cursed the dogs actions.

"Soldier Dunbroch," Captain Frost said faintly and lifted his face up.

"Sh! I'm doing the talking!" I snapped and then my eyes widened when Staff went to lick his face.

"As you can see, I'm back to normal but you were right to get me locked up," he muttered as he stood up. His composure was tired, exhausted. His eyes were back to blue.

"Umm... I need to be sure. Can I run a test?" I grinned and he nodded his head.

I heard the drums of victory playing in my head. Finally I can do this.

I raised my fist and I took my best swing at his chin, it made him loose his balance for a moment.

"Damn," I exhaled while I held my aching hand. He didn't fall even though I hit so hard.

"Nice one... now, may I go and see Arendelle?" Captain Frost said before he spat out some blood.

"I guess so," I whispered. Staff was now standing right beside him. "Let me get the key--," I began but then I heard a loud snap.

My mouth hang open when I saw the broken chains dropping from his hands. He had frozen them. Quickly he passed my dumbfounded body and ran up the stairs.

I mentally screamed angrily as I turned around and followed after him. I went to guestroom and when I got there I saw shocked friends of mine, staring at the Captain who was sitting on the edge of Elsa's bed, embracing her tightly. Then my eyes flashed open so much that it nearly hurt – Captain began kissing Elsa who turned red at first but then she ended up closing her eyes.

I watch around me, Hiccup and Astrid are speechless. Then I notice Hiro, he is looking away with his face being covered with embarrassment. Then he glanced at my direction and I realized – he knew.

'You knew?' I shrieked without a sound, just opening up my mouth even though words couldn't come out. He just chuckled nervously.

Then Astrid barged forward, separating Captain from kissing Elsa.

"Stop! You're assaulting your own squad member! You'll get into jail," Astrid hissed and it seemed like Captain Frost just now realized that there were other people in the room.

"Let him go Astrid, I've told him that I would kill him if he does something wrong to her... but I still don't know if I should," Hiro muttered and tightened his hands into fists.

"I'm not mad at him," Elsa whispered all of a sudden.

Then Captain Frost shrugged his hand off from Astrid's grab and he placed his forehead against Elsas. His hands were resting on her shoulders. I saw his back shaking and I went over to Astrid. Then I saw Elsa's shocked face, she was hearing how Captain Frost was crying, tears were falling down on his cheeks.

"I'm sorry.... so sorry for everything," Captain Frost sobbed and Elsa's arms went around her.

"Let's give these two some space and wait outside... we should figure out what to do a bit later," Hiccup muttered and I felt his hand on my shoulder, his other hand was on Astrids.

In silence me, Hiccup, Hiro and Astrid left from the room and we closed up the door. My mind was still shocked of what we had just witnessed.
